@@vacuumnerds No, i just learned about all the options for my next vacuum, i'm on México and things tend to be more expensive so i more selective with what i buy because if i going to expend a great amount of pesos, then i needs to be a good machine that does not give up at 6 months.
All these companies like Hoover, Shark, Oreck, Kenmore,etc are new to me, on México you only find a vacuum company called Koblenz
i bought it for one stupid reason - it's white. i had just gotten divorced, elected not take anything from the home my daughter was growing up in and wanted her to participate in setting up her second home. we migrated toward an aesthetic featuring white and light silver gray as the predominant "neutrals". personally, i loved the price. well, i used it about 4-5 weeks to vacuum the floors before mopping and decided it wasn't good enough. the primary reason was #4 -- using it felt like an exercise in futility as it just blew dust and debris out. i haven't had the heart to just put it out for someone to take so it's retired to a broom closet next to the shark navigator nv365e, which is also white and gray, that i bought to use instead and, i'm happy to report, is a lot better, but the hose is not significantly longer than the amazon basic vacuum cleaner hose. but, whatever.
