  • BAKERSFIELD, Calif., June 28 (KNN) - A tense standoff unfolded in Kern County around 5:18 p.m. after deputies responded to the 1900 block of East Planz Road to serve a felony warrant for an adult male suspect late Thursday afternoon.
    Two subjects, an adult male and adult female, were seen at the residence and deputies attempted to contact them but were unsuccessful, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
    Chaos erupted as the male suspect opened fire within the residence reportedly at the deputies’ drone when it flew inside the building, according to initial information at the scene.
