Congratulations! Very nice first buck! My first at 20 yrs old was no where near that. Was a young 4pt but I was proud of him. I wanted some venison in the freezer. Asked mom if it was ok to take him and she said yes. I was so excited. At that time we processed our own deer down to wrapping and freezing. It was work but just being there with family and that time together was priceless. We all did our part on the processing. Now my dad and step dad have passed. My grandparents were there but gone now. I think back and it was just awesome to have them all there. I love how you two joke around and you are there Yawt Yawt to support her 100%. You were so excited and proud of her. Man it just doesn't get any better than doing things together. Ok I have rambled long enough. God bless you two and never let that closeness and support fade! 🙂 P.S. I made up for things the next season with a 12 pointer! Woop!🤣

I so wish I had hunted and harvested a buck while he was still alive. Now it’s been three years and I’ve met someone that I am hunting with. He can’t wait for me to harvest my first deer! It just won’t mean as much to tell you the truth. David couldn’t be more proud of you Steph!
