- This is one of the most affordable plasma cutters out there. Use Code: THEBEARDEDJEEPER for 10% off! This is my first ever plasma cutter and I can't believe I didn't get one sooner. This cuts through 1/4" Steel with ease. Super easy setup and you can be cutting in only a few minutes. The only thing you need is a good flowing air compressor. This comes with some replacement consumables and is ready to go out of the box. One of my favorite features is the no-touch arc. You don't have to touch it to the steel just pull the trigger and you have steel cutting power! I think at this price it is a great tool for any fabricator or DIY garage owner. Whether you are building Jeeps or just cutting some steel to fix something around the house I think this Plasma cutter is right for you. Yes Welder made a really great product with the Cut 55 DS.

Nice little unit ...👍👍
Yeah it seems to work really well.
Looks like a nice unit. Btw,I love the new format,. And the shirt.
Definitely gonna help cut the Dana 60. Thanks man this awesome Mark guy has a discount code
Thanks for the review, I got the 220 stick/mig and found your review for it, subscribed and here we are, now I'm gonna have to go buy one 😂
No problem this is an awesome addition to any shop. Thanks for subscribing it means a lot! Make sure to use that discount code when you buy it to save some cash 💵
That is pretty awesome! I’ve been bugging (no pun intended 🤣) Joe to get a plasma cutter. Thanks for sharing this!
You bet! This thing is awesome. I don’t know why it’s taken this long to get one. Would have made a few jobs a lot easier
@@TheBeardedJeeper - it’s definitely on my list! My birthday is coming up!! I think I might just have your video up while we are eating dinner!! 🤪. Plus I am never thrilled when I have to use the 4” grinder with cutting wheel! They can be so dangerous sometimes.
@@GoatOffroad yeah cutoff wheels can be sketchy for sure. Just gotta keep dropping hints haha 😂 and you can save 10% with my discount code 😉 I hope you get one for your birthday. Thanks again for watching
Real mnice review. I only wish mine worked. Pure chinese junk. Mine was no good out of the box. Pressure gauge only reads 30psi. I don’t know whether I have to much or to little air pressure. Arc goes out after a few seconds. Yeswelder is putting unreasonable demands on me to fix it.
Mine goes out after a few seconds of not being on something metal to cut but other than that it works well. I was gonna say reach out to them but sounds like you are having bad luck on that
Nice! Very simple definitely handy for the garage ! 👍🏼
Yeah I think this will get used a lot. Thanks for watching
I was just on there website 🤔 the reviews are good
@@soldier42mp37 use my code and get 10% off 😉
Nice… been looking into one similar. But my air compressor died this winter and I haven’t replaced it yet. Definitely something I want to get tho. I want to make a lot of my own Jeep parts and cut cool shit in it being an artist…. Especially when it comes to my tube doors. Lol.
well this will deff help you cut out some awesome things. For an air compressor, I got a cheaper harbor freight one it has a killer warranty. They told me I could literally blow it up and they would give me a new one.
@@TheBeardedJeeper I’ll have to check harbor freight out. Thanks for the heads up
@@TheDon8771 no problem you can’t beat that warranty
Hi Kyle, I'm a new viewer and a fellow UA-camr. I build cars and bikes and have for a long time. I'm great with a torch (lol) but plasma is all new to me. I recently bought the Cut-55DS and think it's a good machine. I've had a few issues with it, mainly because of no plasma experience. Based on watching this video it looks like you just set it to 55 amps and 50 psi (it l;ooked like) and let her rip. I've been adjusting my amperage based on material thickness and type, but maybe I'm over thinking it. Your thoughts? Great video and thank you.
It's better to correctly dial the amps and air in , it'll give you a better cut and make your machine last longer since you won't be at 100% duty cycle . The thought process is that when you dial it up to max it will cut both thin and thick material alike and while it will do that , it will give you terrible cuts on thinner material because you are blasting through it not cutting think of the plasma as a scalpel and think of the amps as the force your applying to the scalpel , if that makes sense . You can max it out and it will cut but it just won't be as good .
I don’t know why I am just seeing this comment but I think the comment below from Ricky explains it perfectly. I was putting it on max to test it out but you will get better cuts if you adjust depending on metal thickness.
@@TheBeardedJeeper thank you!
@@rickyricardo3551 That is great advice, thank you very much 👍
@@EdgeofEternityBillCameron hope the plasma cutter is still treating you well
What amp size plug is on the 220 plug
I’m not 💯 sure I’ll have to find out
