Love the old things. ❤ Last year my mother let us take all the old ornaments she had from the 50s, & her mother’s from the 40s. I bought a repro set of the glass bulbs in 2011. Last year I eschewed Hallmark & put only the glass bulbs on my tree. Loved it!🎄
This reminds me of the Christmas TV show named " Noel " about an ornament from the attic and his happiness. Highly recommend that show. Seeing the decorations and hearing the music box play slowly makes me melancholy and nearly crying, in a good way.
I searched the Salvation Army last year for Shiny Bright ornaments almost daily once the Christmas decorations were put out. I was able to find quite a large collection of ornaments.
Love those old C9 lights and vintage ornaments! Still very colorful and vibrant after all these years! Those old lights have a warmth and glow to them that the LED's can't hold a candle to!
I have my parents 1950s lights and I have fought to keep them!! Many an argument with the late Mr. Poodle. I covered myself over the tangled wires never to be tossed! 💪🏻 Edit… Many have admired my foil wings on the dock
Hi Scott! Your light up Snowman from 1955 is 69 years old. That’s as old as me. Now that’s old! 😂🤣😂 I love seeing all of your vintage Christmas treasures. Very cool things. I still have my felt and sequins Christmas stocking my parent’s lady friend made for me in 1957. Looking forward to your sale tonight!
I love it when you're in the attic! How much would you charge for rent there? Perfect for a crazy old artist like me, I could dump my antique chamber pot out that window every morning Looking at all those old ornaments and decorations was so evocative, perhaps all the more so for being in that attic. We all have attics, perhaps not real ones, but attics of memories. Mine has lots of cobwebs! Your grandfather purchased that plastic snowman the year I was born. I have a glittery paper mache German elf ornament I chose when I was three, and it gets pride of place on my tree every year. Anyway, that was lovely, thank-you.
For Heaven's sake, Scott, don't strangle yourself with the Christmas lights! Those need to go on the eaves of the front porch. Good luck with your sale tonight. 👍

Just wonderful! Can't wait to see the bungelow decorated for Christmas!
Those old lights bring back old S.Jersey memories. My father driving us around neighborhoods to see Christmas lights. A favorite was Haddonfield. ❤
Is there anything more nostalgic, heart tugging than old Christmas decorations, tree ornaments that we grew up with? 😪
i was going to say the exact same thing xo

Felt the ghost of Christmas past.
How lovely. We had the lights growing up. Those vintage boxes are keepers!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. 🎶🎶 Everywhere you go in the 1925 house... 🎶🎶 :-)
I'm rethinking the hobnail pitcher 🤔 I see the thumbprint on base so looks like Doyle and co but like you say it's oooold 👍
I have the light up Santa that goes with your snowman. My mother bought it in the 1950s
I have and love those Christmas lights C9s and C7s. But, when I use them, my power bill soars!!!
I was born in 1951.. I am familiar with a lot of the things you show .. love it.. :)
I'm captivated, and your string of lights are beautiful. The old multi colored ❤

Thank you for a lovely trip down memory lane.
Very nice video. Thanks
That red ceramic Santa is very similar to one Olde Hadley sold last night.
Is the train track foreshadowing good things to come? Hope so... the new house needs a train set appearance. Please!?!
I've been looking for old ornaments with no luck 😢
Your scaring me with the lone Santa on a wood beam..😑
How do we pay for goods? I'm a newbee to all of this UA-cam live sale.
