This is the exact build I use on wizard but I use the new disintegrate shoulder essence that makes the illusion shot a beam, instead of meteor. And I use 2 gloom to buff the dmg boost on teleport more.
Just built a similar build, yep can confirm massive 1.1 damage

Apollyon quick question what are the best gems to have like if you had to pick 2 5 stars gems and 4 2 stars gems with 2 level 10 1 star gems...
I’d like a gem selection too - I’ve seen the videos testing all the new gems but would like to know which 6 or 8 you recommend now.
Question for you Apollyon, would the 2 piece Shal'Baas do more damage than the 2 piece Banquet? Since this build has increase attack speed, more increase in primary damage with 15% increase in damage would do more? What does everyone think? Maybe someone already asked this question in the previous posts?

Yo sir, I run a somewhat different build would you like to try it? It's basically frost field/Torrent /nova build where the helm is the same but the chest is the essence where nova orbits two orbs dealing damage the new essence pant where frost field breaks the armour the 2nd offhand is for weapon which increases speed after using nova. For set pieces 4 grace of flagellant and 2 Shal ba'as. Hope you like it.
Best build for castle defense?
For me it's a build with a lot of chill and 2 charges with thistlebloom arcane wind that freeze and gather enemies
Alternate ice block (with longer duration and less cooldown) and ice armor with 6 charges of dmg absorption. Ultimate survivability. Arcane Torrent and basic meteor for the other 2 skills. Two vithus. 4 piece banquet. Survivor paragon. Magic missile with bonus dmg from both offhands. You can survive in the fog with that build.
It's a great build for a raid boss above your cr or Gauntlet too
