Brother you speak for so many of us I've been a addict since 94 I come from a area called Cabramatta it was a real bad area but I only have my father to blame he was the 1 who introduced large scale heroin importation till his arrest n it but him on the ass cause 2 of his nephews are dead my sister is a mess on the shit n was a working girl but he was also a pimp owned some of Australia's biggest brothels, I know its cost me my life n I'm not sure how long I have left

I'm on my man's phone lol, but anyways, I first heard your song addiction part 1 last year, 2022. I was in active addiction and even then the song hit me hard. Listening to part 1, part 2, and now this, while 6 and a half months sober is insane to me. It hit me a lot harder tonight. Especially when you said " so my daughter will never see me high." I'm pregnant with a baby boy right now. I truly believe the last time I relapsed was God showing me it wasn't what I wanted in life anymore. I remember thinking all night while high, "why the hell did I do this again? I hate this." And I pondered My life and sobriety and made a promise to myself to stay sober, which I ended up doing. A few weeks after I found out I was pregnant and I'm still clean, I attend NA and AA meetings and I've actually chaired 1 meeting so far! Sobriety has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Now I'm just dealing with the memories of things I did while high, and learning self acceptance. I find myself feeling like I wasted the last young years of My life on drugs. I got arrested last April and spent My 18th birthday in jail. I'll never forget that. April 21st is when I was arrested, and April 22nd marks a year clean for my fiance. I stumbled upon your songs tonight, and I instantly remembered last year when we were smoking m*th and our friend showed us your song. I just want you to know you're doing an amazing job spreading awareness and I respect you a lot for sharing your stories. You're helping more people than you think. Congrats on your sobriety, don't stop making music!

It's incredibly soul destroying to get well to get hit woth something which is currently close family members terminal diagnosis but I'm seeing how I'm getting both stronger as I hold the younger ones together whilst I break In private and they its getting easier each time I get knocked down to get up. Start trauma therapy soon so sure fun times and ghosts ahead but considering I'm proud nice having sense of achievement and bit of inner peace - what we all want. You good? Your gorgeous Mrs looking so good in your recent post and like how ive watched your wee family look happier each time since I've follow your music.
