I watched "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" with my grandmother when I was younger.
I remember Andrea Evans as 'Tina Lord'. You couldn't miss all that gorgeous red hair and her bright eyes.
RIP
She was so pretty 😊
I remember her as well. I was 11 and spent that whole summer engrossed in what Tina and Corde were doing, along with my mom and granny. Only 1 TV in the house meant you watched what the grown ups watched! RIH
There were so many Tina's, I can't place her. Was she the one on trial for the murder of Maria Delgado on the show?
@@neekyboo77same - we must be the same age - 60s babies
Dorothy Zehnder was an icon of hard work and diligence.. there was never a time that we visited Frankenmuth in the seventies and she was not present. She would be cooking, she would be doing tables, she would be taking orders, and she'd be greeting people, I remember as a kid how impressed I was by her joyous and friendly smile as she seem to never slow down. A lot could be learned from a woman like this. And her husband was much the same. It is truly a loss for the Michigan family.
THANK You for not only broadcasting the most recent passings, but also remembering those that have been gone for quite some time...
And, the fact that you repeatedly explain that every family might not want to release cause of death is appreciated, as well.
Thank you Legacy ! Your a class act ! Appreciate the updates in honoring those who just passed and past deaths 🙏🏾♥️
I agree, plus I can sense they try their absolute best to pronounce the names the best that they can. I appreciate they don't use automated narrations
Huge Andrea Evans fan. Loved her on One Life to Live. May all have eternal peace. 🕊️❤️🙏
I named my daughter after her 😢
Augie Acabou and Wayne Brooks, Newark firefighters, died fighting a ship fire in Port Newark. Both became trapped, independently of one another, about 15 minutes apart. Both gave "mayday" calls, but neither could be reached in time in what was the equivalent of battling a fire in a 10-story building. They should have had 2 1/2" hoses to be able to truly fight the fire, but only had 1" hoses, which weren't powerful enough for them to battle the growing blaze. These brave men literally FIGHT fires.
Thank you. That adds greater context to their valiant service to their community. Perhaps even improving the needed equipment for these very hazardous jobs.
“ Bless “ “ Them “
As I said in my previous comment….the effort in commemorating those who lose their lives in service in the USA is heartwarming. In Britain we have nothing.
😢❤🙏✝️
I'm so so sorry. My heart aches for you and I cry, and I will always remember you. Thank you for everything.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The passing of Andrea Evans hit hard because I grew up watching her on One Life to Live as Tina Lord Roberts..she truly was an amazing actress..RIP 💛
RIP to all who have transitioned in this video 🙏🏾🙏🏾
😳what me too 😢
Vicky Lord baby sister
Andrea Evans had to deal with a crazed stalker while appearing on One Life to Live.
It's always a shock when someone from the past dies. Not seeing them for years, it's as if time stopped and our memories see them as they were. It really is sad
I was shocked. She was beautiful and a great actress.
It's astounding how many have died from cancer. I survived breast cancer and it saddens me when others didn't. So sad. Rest in peace all. ❤❤❤
Sadly, it's in the water
Sadly, it’s in our foods and medicines.
It's in our foods????
@@esmemorgan8117 Its everywhere. The soil the air the water. There is nothing "organic" nor is there anything not polluted on this planet.
Johnie Cooks was a friend, I'm beyond devastated. It poured rain that day, my tears fell with the rain. He'd been very sick, and in a hospital in Memphis for over a year. I spoke to him just the week before he died. He was a great man, helped children get school supplies every year, and multiple other other charities - no one ever knew because he didn't do it for publicly.
Johnie Cooks sounds like a genuine, great person. You should be glad you were friends with such a magnificent person. I am so sorry for the loss of your good friend.
Andrea Evans was one of the best soap actresses on tv. I couldnt wait to watch OLTL to see what Tina was up to next, and was hoping she and Cord would get back together.
Broke my heart when I read about her death. She was great as Tina, and I loved her scenes with Cord, Viki, and Max.
She died?
@brownin329 yes she had breast cancer!!
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Me too😢
I remember when Andrea Evan's, character Tina Lord, introduced on One Life to Live. She was a very good character actress. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
RIP Isabel Sanford, and happy Heavenly bday, to Charlie Murphy, whose death was a true shock. May everyone mentioned tdy RIP. It's always a big loss. So many of them, brought back memories, of shows & entertainment.
The narrator her voice is so clear, and well spoken. Choosing the right person is spot on. Thank you.
I agree, I’m a big fan of Linneah (sorry if I misspelled your name)
@@ksw501 That's ok.
disagree
I don’t know how she manages to read the names of the fallen officers without crying.
We have nothing like this in Britain.
Our Royal pageantry is wonderful, but for the ordinary people who serve?
Nothing.
@@teaglet1What? Disagree? Blah blah blah blah & more blah.
GOOD BYE, ANDREA EVANS! Your "Tina Lord" character was a joy filled and occasionally hilarious experience to watch during a bad time I was having! How one character could get in and out of trouble so often was mind boggling! THANKS for those memories and rest well!
Andrea Evans was one of my favorite soap actresses Thank you for the years of entertainment Tina was an exciting character RIP
RIP to ALL who have passed on...
It's hard to believe that Vivien Leigh has been gone for so long. She was a great actress & her "Star" continues to shine!
Vivien Leigh had led a very turbulent life. She had to deal with mental illness and a painful divorce from Sir Laurence Olivier.
i was 9 months old when she passed and now i'm a year older than she was when she passed
Rest in Peace to all.
Peter Nero, a gentleman and so talented.
I can not hear his name without thinking of my husband who owned every LP of Nero’s music, and was also a pianist. 😢
A beautiful life, well lived. I'm glad he graced us with many years of wonderful music (my parents were fans, too). He has such a kind face and beautiful smile in these pics, seems like he was a happy man who shared his talent to make others feel joy too.
Appreciate your channel. Thank you.
Tina Lord was always my favorite soap character. She was so beautiful. I'm going to miss her. I'm glad she is at peace now.
So many notable people have passed away, too many from cancer. May they all rest in peace 🙏🏽 ❤
Cancer can be NO MORE but ($) gets in the way. Billions can be made from this disease at the expense of human life. Such a pity it is. I have survived 6 stage 3 & 4 cancers thanks to Jesus. Cling to Him like glue.
The bio weapon will cause or turbo charge that. ☠💉
Dorothy Zehnder. Everybody in Michigan knows that name. The best darn chicken dinners in Frankenmuth, MI. What a legacy!
I hadn't heard of her, but now I'm going to look for her cookbooks to add to my collection. She looks like a lady who knows how to create delicious food. She reminds me of my Aunt "Doe Doe" who was a legendary cook herself!
I just commented the same thing what an icon. I was last there in 1989 because I moved to the West. But I'm planning on a Michigan road trip this year and I'm going to get me some chicken. I remember her from my childhood in the 70s. It's hard to believe the people in America were once so friendly and smiled all the time as they worked diligently with their hands and their personalities just to give a little bit of joy to another person. Truly a great lady❤❤❤❤❤
Go there every couple of months. Love it & loved her & her recipes.
Andrea evans passed?? Omg. I am stunned and sad that an actress who brought me so much joy is gone so young.
NOT MY GIRL TINA LORD ROBERTS. . . .DAMN!😢😢😢😢
👍👍👍👍👍
That definitely my girl on one life to live.
Broke my heart to see her face here I loved her acting and her cute little shape she gave her sister Vicky the flucks getting into trouble especially with Cord may she rest in peace!🙏🙏🙏
This narrators voice is so soothing and kind sounding. They couldn’t have found anyone better if they tried.
Jimmy Weldon was a hero and beloved in Burbank CA reciting a powerful poem about the American Flag at every patriotic event - He’ll be greatly missed!! 😢
I used to play the bagpipes at those events. Mickey DePalo hired me when they first started doing them. I remember Jimmy at most events as well as Pat Walmsley singing America the Beautiful. Is she still with us?
We continue to lose so many whose contributions to our lives were so rich. May they rest in peace.
May they all Rest in Peace. Especially Dorothy Zendher and Andrea Evans. I loved Zendher's fried chicken and especially the Zendher's coleslaw. I never liked coleslaw until I had the Zendhers mix. Dorothy really knew how to cook! And I sooo enjoyed watching Andrea as Tina Lord in the 80s during my early days as a stay at home young mother. She was a very beautiful lady! 😊
The reason I watched One life to live..RIP BEAUTIFUL SOUL
I grew up a Fan of One Life to Live was my favorite show and I had a huge crush for Andrea Evans and still do even watched the other shows she was on RIP Tina Lord Roberts you'll be missed.
Andrea Evans is a sad shock. May she rest in peace.
Isabel Sanford also had a memorable role as the maid in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner...she held her own with co-stars Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, and Sidney Poitier ❤
What does Isabel have to do with July deaths,,,?
@@LovelyLonewolf-qk9egI have no idea!!!
You should've made your question a POST and not a response to my comment, troll!
RIP Nikki McCray. Be sure to tell Coach Summit how much she is missed.❤😢
❤
Thank you for recognizing Dorothy Zhender. Ive never met her, but I've visited Zhenders a few times. Very nice, polite employees, and terrific food.
I loved Andrea Evans. I’m so sad she is gone💔
I met Mr. Jimmy Weldon when I was a little girl. Our local TV station KSBW in Salinas California hosted the Webster Webfoot Show which was next to my neighborhood. The big sliding door would be open and my brother and I could go in and sit quietly in the folding chairs to watch from behind the studio cameras. We had to be very quiet. I loved Webster! Mr. Weldon was a very nice and patient man with kids. ❤
The voice of Yackey Doodle. Another piece of our past gone. 😢
Back in the day, most major cities had some kind of children's programming that was filmed live and locally with children audiences. In Dallas we had "Icky Twerp" and "Mr. Peppermint", and I loved them both. I never got to meet them, but I ran across the son of Bill Camfield (Icky Twerp) on a chat group back in the 90s and I bought some DVDs he made of recordings from his dad's show. I was happy to know that his son adored him and considered him to be the best dad ever. It's great when your childhood heroes turn out to be genuinely good people!
Seems very true of Mr. Weldon.
My mom's first husband likely served in the army with Jimmy Weldon, because he was also among the Army soldiers who liberated Buchenwald. My mom's first husband came back shell-shocked (now known as PTSD) and died on the job in an accident less than a year after he returned home. Mom told me it was because he couldn't sleep, he kept reliving the horrors he witnessed.
Andrea Evans!!!! I am saddened she was such a wonderful actress I loved her as Vicky's sister may you rest in peace sweet lady!!!
I wasn't a big fan of soap operas, but I sometimes watched "All My Children" with my mom and older brother (they were hooked!). I was impressed by storylines that AMC was brave enough to portray that were ahead of the times and groundbreaking.
I became a fan of the wonderful actor, Michael E. Knight, who played Tad Martin on the show.
Hello how are you doing?
Tad the Cad ❤😂
@@lenah4160 Tad the cad is now playing an attorney on General Hospital. His hair is completely white.
First I've heard AMC broke ground for the mentally ill.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc Oh! A silver fox! I'll have to check him out.
Thank you for sharing these every week it brings us memories and let's us mourn. May every one rest in paradise 🙏
I have been a subscriber to your channel for a few years and want to thank you for your awesome work. The respect, compassion and delicacy you show to those who have passed, and their families, is wonderful. ❤ I am Australian, so sometimes don’t know the American sports stars, politicians etc. you cover, but just want to show that the channel is still reaching hearts worldwide. The fact that you also cover the deaths of everyday people, albeit in exceptional circumstances, is also a plus,
Every week Legacy arrives I’m wondering ‘who the hell as died now? When is this all this dying going to stop?’ My juvenile response is probably because I recognise long forgotten stars and celebrities in every single announcement. It rebuilds a picture of your past life too and feels like a tiny part of you dies with their passing as well 😞🙏🏽
Very well said! I agree with your post!
Jesus Christ conquered death , by rising from the dead 2000 years ago .
He took death and swallowed it up by His Life , because He is Life itself.
" I Am the Way , the Truth and the Life . No one comes to the Father , but through Me"
He who has the Son , has Life .
" Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"
"Believe in God . Believe also in Me "
" I Am the resurrection and the Life"

My husband and I when we see a lot of these videos and specific people will look at each other and say there goes another piece of our childhood and youth. Some of them really shake us up.
To Keith. Well said
@@hume6900 Yes, same here, before social media I only ever heard the passing of 1-2 famous people in TV or Radio news every few months or so. The obituary sections in newspapers were only for investigative researchers as far as I was concerned 😂 Now because of the technology proliferation and the information onslaught, the full news story is at our fingertips, suddenly even the deaths of minor celebrities of yesteryear cause grief among the joyful reflection of their impact in the background of our early lives. Today we hear these dreaded news and see so much more, and more often, it’s going to hurt for sure and for longer. The viral wave eventually hits you even if you don’t deliberately look these things up. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely calm narration ,beautiful voice! You speak withfeeling not just plain reading or stopping to turn pages !!!XOXOXO
Betty Ford was an activist, for fighting alcoholism.
As impressive as her husband in my opinion. His parties recant lack of constitutional respect doesn't help his cause.
Andrea Evans was such a good actress, a nasty villain! RIP
may they all be granted eternal rest 🕊️
RIP Abdrea Evans she was the real Tina o. Soap one Life to Live my condolences 🙏 to her Family
Zehnder's is one fine restaurant. A must visit, at least once
I been there it’s amazing glad to see dorthy was on here she may not been a celebrity but she was darn amazing at least people weren’t annoying about here fame or brag about how they act like meet celebrities like other one s did or make a big deal about it

Vivian Leigh was gorgeous ❤❤❤❤ RIP to all
Thank you, brightening up my day.
Isabel Sanford & Charlie Murphy 😢
I LOVED Andres Evans no one else could ever play Tina LORD!!!!
( love you too" Kelly Maroney ")
That picture of Margia Dean looked like a model of 2023. It’s weird to think she was born in 1922, and died at 101 years old.
God bless and give Peace to all those who have recently passed away. Amen.
R.I.P Andrea Evans You made the 80s awesome
I can't believe the passing of soap opera performers this year😢.
Condolences to the families and may they RIP

Wow Dorothy Zehnder was listed on here. Thank you. My boys and I go with their grandmother every Christmas for brunch.
Kelly Preston what a great actress, May she rest and peace with her son, what a hard week for Mr Travolta ❤️
May she be with Jett and her family now.

21 years ago this week Academy Award winning actor, Rod Steiger died at the age of 77. He won his Oscar for playing Police Chief Bill Gillespie in the 1967 Best Picture Winner, "In The Heat Of The Night." He starred opposite Marlon Brando in 1954's, "On The Waterfront" and played a priest in the 1979 horror movie, "The Amityville Horror."

RIP tina of one life to live and zoe of all my children 🙏 💔 😢
There was nothing like Zhenders chicken in Frankenmuth. I haven’t had it for 40 years but haven’t had better since
Absolutely. I've only been there once but it was great...and it gave you the boost of energy you needed to walk through the entire Christmas store. 😂
They were a great family. When I think of Frankenmuth I think of childhood. I certainly hope the quality remains after the loss of these elders
When I road trip to Michigan this year I'm going to Frankenmuth.
My husband and I still go there for our birthdays it is delicious as ever

I didn’t know until today that Vivian Leigh was British! It couldn’t have been easy to play a southern Belle accent wise in Gone With the Wind.
so many cancer deaths this year
