- We all know the famous "Ben Kenobi vs Darth Vader" fight scene from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
However, back at that time George Lucas didn't have any experience with lightsaber duels and the result was a slow and full of dialogue fight.
Here I show you how this scene would be if it was in the Prequels. I did a lot of modifications: a much faster duel, almost no dialogue, sound effects, a slightly different ending, etc.
This video may be short but I put a lot of work into it so I would appreciate your Like and opinion. I read every comment ;)
IMPORTANT: this edit I made is based on Episode III - "Anakin vs Obi-Wan" sequence. that explains the music and the fast movements.

Ah the negoti- coolest guy I'm subscribed to added to my collection
With the original films, George Lucas told the actors to pretend the lightsabers were incredibly heavy. That's why they swung them so slowly. Action scenes are mostly about the story, and so the ability for the characters to talk to each other during the fight is very necessary for a good fight scene. Hence why all the best lightsaber duels in the prequels are the same, it's just that the action between the lines is faster paced. The big fight at the end of episode 3 is great because of the emotion behind it all, losing a brother and all that. NOT how fast they flip around their lightsabers. Although that is cool too. But if it was just that on its own, then revenge of the sith would be really disappointing
0:44 was my favorite part, I appreciated that reference to the Episode III scene ;)

By the way, 0:44 is a lightsaber spin. It appears in the fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith and it is used to distract your enemy. I tried to make something like that.

The only reason that this doesn't make sense is because luke and others run out, and anakin and obi wan switch positions again and only stormtroopers are shown.

Yes, I've seen his edit and he made it as if it was for the actual movie: fatter lightsaber swords and some minor changes.
I made my edit based on the "Anakin vs Obi-Wan" fight from Episode III: Revenge of the Sith because they are different in many aspects and I wanted to give this duel more speed and excitement.
