The original words translated hell are sheol and hades meaning the common grave. The Bible says the dead is unconscious and can not feel pain (Ecclesiastes 9:10) it also said that let the wicked be ashamed and let them be silent in the gave (psalm 31:17). The wages of sin is death (Roman 6:33) and is acquitted from his or her sin (Roman 6:7). The idea of eternal torment is repugnant to God. Jeremiah 32:35. That thought has never come into his heart.
Correction on Christianity: according to the bible, yes there is eternal fire plus there is eternal maggots that will never die, also hell has a smell and is described as more strong than sulfur.
Here's a story to make you understand the concept of heaven and hell in hinduism better. In Mahabharata, the greatest hindu epic, Yudhishtira was the only one to reach heaven with his human body among the 5 pandavas. When he reached heaven, he saw that his siblings, the pandavas, were suffering in hell, while the kauravas, his cousins, (they were basically the enemies of the pandavas, and had committed countless sins) were lavishly embracing heaven's luxury. Yudhishtira couldn't believe what he saw. When he asked Yama (the god of death) about it, Yama replied that this was temporary. The Pandavas were suffering to wash away the few sins they committed, and Kauravas were enjoying heaven for their few good deeds. After some finite time, their places would switch, and that would be permanent.
@@james_006 no my friend. see to eplain heaven and hell of hinduism to you. you need to understand a concept called karma. it's basically a meassure of your good and bad deeds. in the start or birth, you are born with nothing, no good or bad deeds and the actions that you do in life are recorded in that scale and after you die you will pay for every last thing that you did, good and bad rightfully to reset the scale and then you get reincarnated
The pure uncertainty of what comes after death is what makes dying so scary, not the process itself. Is a black void with no senses and conscience better than living on this wicked planet? Or is there something to look forward to like a new beginning with only happiness? Many more possibilities exist, and frankly for me, i don’t want to find out.

I'm Buddhist and there is hell. Naraka is derived from Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism), both are very similar. Both are temporary and you'll be released after you're published.
Actually in islam, after you spend a while in hell ( depends on what you did) allah then forgives you and gets you outta hell to heaven but you will have on your forehead a mark to show that you've been in hell before, but there will be no difference I guess between you and the people you're with...
Lol it's funny how these people in the comment section be fighting over religion and try to prove and show that their religion is supreme 💀 brothers and sisters your religion won't take you to heaven/swarg your good deeds will.
I think that's not correct. In Christianity, hell is a place originally mean for Satan and his fallen angels where they are tormented in hellfire. It's not a place where Satan rules. Matt 25:41
we hindus used to say " narak mai jalega tu" means "you will burn in hell" so how naraka is a jungle? and also Gotama Buddha was born as a hindu. And had a little different philosophy on live . But after his death his followers make him GOD.

Though admin didn't describe Hinduism's belief properly but one thing is that every religion speaks the same so from here we can understand that God is only one, he just have different names in different religions
About the depiction of hell in Hinduism, it is very much unlike what's described in the video. In truth, hell is exactly like the others mentioned in the video, where the soul encapsulated within a temporary body gets exposed to a series of torments for its sinful actions. Eventually, the soul makes it to paradise after redeeming itself back in hell.
Hindustan is not similar to Buddhism, but Buddhism is similar to Hinduism. Hinduism is world's oldest religion, and I also admit that Hinduism's hell is fill with fire not jungle, and it's nark not naraka
I'm Muslim and It is described that hell is eternal place of suffering for those who don't believe God (Allah) and those who do bad deeds but those who still believed on Allah may go from punishment but they'll be free after passing through their punishment and may go to Heaven
Even in jainism , we can find very similar thoughts that once a soul has suffered the required punishments based on their karma , the soul is transferred into its new life where again it has opportunities to gain true and absolute knowledge however gets distracted and the karma cycle runs again . Considering the historical facts that Jainism is way older that even hinduism and buddhism , many ideas may have been adopted by various sects .❤🎉
With huge respect for the philosophy of Jainism, it's just a part of Hinduism similar to Buddhism, both Jainism and Buddhism are based on satwika philosophy of Hinduism,
In the norse myth, hell is often described as a frozen place where all the people who died of age, illness, the criminals, and of natural cause go. It is not very mentionned how the peoples are treated, but it is probably very close to hell. Helheim,is very diffrrent to hell
Actually Hinduism and Buddhism, and the various Eastern religions have a whole set of hells. There are 7 hells in Hinduism and based on a person's deeds, the soul will spend its time in that realm. Interstingly, our current world is also a kind of hell in a way, because our spirit belongs in a different realm. So when a spirit is born in this realm, they are paying for their sins. And once they have lived their sentence as a human being, they accumulate enough merits to be relieved from being reborn.
The road to yamraj is through a forest if you did good deeds on earth then you will get a chariot, food, water to cross the forest, in case of bad deeds you get nothing and after reaching yamraj then he will send you to narak/swarg and get punishment in narak as mentioned in Buddhism (Buddhism is derived from Hinduism)
"for those causing suffering to poor souls, shall suffer the same faith in their own life and afterlife No scorching fires, no monsters in hell... Whatever this human fear will Chase him forever until he learns everything he need to... Surrender" -light&dark
Fun fact: if it was true that hellfire was 70x as hot as on earth it would be 105,000 degrees hot, that would make the flames no longer be yellow and would be blue.
Bro about Hinduism and Buddhism. 1. Buddhism, founded by followers of Lord Gautam Buddha is similar to Hinduism because in Hinduism, Gautam Buddha is 8th Incarnation of Lord Vishnu. 2. And in Hinduism hell(narka) is not what u said. It's the same as Buddhism people get punished for their deeds. And start a new life after reincarnation. However, the karma that has not been paid fully. Will eventually have to be paid in the new life by going through something bad or maybe worse.
As a muslim i partially agree but he didnt explain it completely in Islam this is only for the people who did shirk and one or two other major sins, while all the other people who believed in ALLAH would eventually leave jahanum after after getting their deseving punishment.yes,Allah loves us alot❤
Actually hell is divided into 7 step with each below step is harder and uglier than the previous one the first is Jahanam then Luthza then Hutama then Sa'eer then Sakr then Jahem and finally Haweyah and vice versa with Jannah 7 steps the higher the steps the more rewarding and beautiful it becomes first is the Aadn then Ferdauos then Na'em then Ma'wa then Khuld then Makam then finally the highest is Salam. God bless all hope this corrects the people's thoughts about Islam ❤🙏
Maturity is when you realise you are already living in hell. World full of pain and suffering and just never-ending persuit of happiness. "The world isn't hell for you because you haven't yet seen the bad days" - Buddha
Hell in Christianity actually is described as a dark fiery place. Satan was not told to have dominion over the realm either, just that he’d suffer in Hell with his sinners.
Boddha means in Sanskrit knowledge Soo I don't understand some people constantly trying to say that Hinduism is from Buddhism but Buddhism history is Soo limited , only 3000 yesrs😂😂 meanwhile sanatan dharma or Hinduism 10000 years and still some people don't know exactly how old this culture is
Honestly, not to offend anyone, but the idea of an afterlife doesn't make sense. When someone dies, they don't traverse to some other plane of existence. They just die. Their body ceases all function, and their thoughts and soul simply perish. Plain and simple. Anyone want to share their thoughts?
Fun fact :- Buddhism is derived form Hinduism and Lord Buddha is actually said to be an incarnation of Lord Visnu, one of the 3 major gods of Hinduism.
in Islam actually, Hell (Jahannam) isn't eternal. People who didn't believe in Allah (God) will stay there and will not be able to get out of there. Even if you have a little belief, you will go to Heaven after suffering in Hell.
Norse mythology describes their hell (Helhiem) as just a blizzard with Loki's daughter, also you'd be put there if you weren't a brave and valiant warrior in the living
Nice explanation. Just a little correction, Hell in Islam is actually temporary for a sinner who still has faith, even as small as atom's core. A minimum requirements for Faith according to Islam, you just need to believe that God is one (Allah) and prophet Muhammad Pbuh is the messenger of God.

@@INDRJITHBJWAA yup ik I just wrote 'caste system' so non Hindus reading this comment could get idea of that
@@INDRJITHBJWAA well i admit dharm teaches about varn system and that should be in practice as well
But birth based system also came in existence from kaliyug's brahmin as well {maybe not everywhere but slowly it became widespread due to ego, anger, etc. (the signs of kali)}
Main problem isn't defining anyone to a varn, main problem is discrimination which comes due to ego
@@divyansh_madaan yeah I agree too, Varna system is completely fair and is in Mahabharata and ramayana , u would notice that Caste system started from Gupta dynasty when each Varna and classes( Merchant, peasants and other) started to make their own community and started to disintegrate from each other , and usually the kings and Brahmins provided the services to these communities mostly and then because of some rascals in Brahmins ,these social inequalities became a social trend
Without any caste system then this is best then Hindu's caste system
The original words translated hell are sheol and hades meaning the common grave. The Bible says the dead is unconscious and can not feel pain (Ecclesiastes 9:10) it also said that let the wicked be ashamed and let them be silent in the gave (psalm 31:17). The wages of sin is death (Roman 6:33) and is acquitted from his or her sin (Roman 6:7). The idea of eternal torment is repugnant to God. Jeremiah 32:35. That thought has never come into his heart.
The like of Fire where they burn for ever and ever is still in the bible
First- Buddhism is similar to Hinduism.
2nd - Hell is mostly symbolic, it is even said that Naraka is state of mind in Hinduism
Correction on Christianity: according to the bible, yes there is eternal fire plus there is eternal maggots that will never die, also hell has a smell and is described as more strong than sulfur.
That is just the first circle ...
That’s just an old understanding of hell. It is now understood by the vast majority of scholars as being a place simply separate from god.
So Kauravas in hell for eternity?
@@james_006 no my friend. see to eplain heaven and hell of hinduism to you. you need to understand a concept called karma. it's basically a meassure of your good and bad deeds. in the start or birth, you are born with nothing, no good or bad deeds and the actions that you do in life are recorded in that scale and after you die you will pay for every last thing that you did, good and bad rightfully to reset the scale and then you get reincarnated
In Atheism : There's no hell, no paradise. Once you're dead your every bone, tissue, cells will get decomposed with soil.
I'm atheist too..
But people always get mad at me.
Well, I guess it's too scary for people to digest the truth. Once your consciousness(brain cells) gone you gone
@@danteuneco133how do you get born, how do you die, what happens after you die.....your atheism can't explain all this
Yeah, athiests wanna escape from reality anyway.
Do mythologies next

NARAKHA IS FROM HINDUISM, AND IN BUDDHISM THERE IS NO HELL, AS AL PRACTITIONERS OF BUDDHISM GO TO HEAVEN, OBVIOUSLY
Go do your research bro.
There is a hell in buddhist bro
i am buddhist
Bro needs a reboot to update himself 😂
People in here be yapping bout the fact whose god is superior.
It relies on which religion you are assuming about.
Buddhism doesn't fall under the category of Religion. It's a lifestyle
More of an Philosophy right?
Yes! Just like stoicism!
Same goes for Hinduism
I think that's not correct. In Christianity, hell is a place originally mean for Satan and his fallen angels where they are tormented in hellfire. It's not a place where Satan rules. Matt 25:41
Yes you are right. Hell is not Satan domain, is his punishment
Good to know 👍nice info
Narak is just hell in hindi...
Both Buddhism and Hinduism are from India
we hindus used to say " narak mai jalega tu"
means "you will burn in hell"
so how naraka is a jungle?
and also
Gotama Buddha was born as a hindu. And had a little different philosophy on live .
But after his death his followers make him GOD.
That's what I was finding for ..... And all others are fighting that Buddhism is same Hinduism na Hinduism is same Buddhism ..... No one is taking about this...... 😂😢 Never let bro cook again....... He literally said narak is jungle.....

Buddha was born in Hindu family.
Buddhism is from Hinduism
Buddha didn't created buddhism, buddha just joined the Buddhism. Buddhism was there before buddha
Hinduism is not like Buddhism.
Buddhism is like Hinduism.
Buddhism is originated from Hinduism.
Naraka is called (nuhrug)
Though admin didn't describe Hinduism's belief properly but one thing is that every religion speaks the same so from here we can understand that God is only one, he just have different names in different religions
Hell in Hinduism is too terrible i suggest you to read GARUDAPURANAM to understand NARAKA .it is too terrible that you can't even read the whole Book
I like Dante’s description of hell. A cold freezing place because it’s so far away from gods light
You should also see matpats version of hell in a TADC vid(?)
I'm Muslim and It is described that hell is eternal place of suffering for those who don't believe God (Allah) and those who do bad deeds but those who still believed on Allah may go from punishment but they'll be free after passing through their punishment and may go to Heaven
😂
Even in jainism , we can find very similar thoughts that once a soul has suffered the required punishments based on their karma , the soul is transferred into its new life where again it has opportunities to gain true and absolute knowledge however gets distracted and the karma cycle runs again .
Considering the historical facts that Jainism is way older that even hinduism and buddhism , many ideas may have been adopted by various sects .❤🎉
With huge respect for the philosophy of Jainism, it's just a part of Hinduism similar to Buddhism, both Jainism and Buddhism are based on satwika philosophy of Hinduism,
An applause for the Buddhist forgiveness. If I had to be religious I would definitely be Buddhist. Yall rock!
Bro Buddhism is like Hinduism not the other way around
In Buddhism no hell and no heaven only humanity ❤

Holy crap 😮😱🙄😳😲🤯
Greek next pls
Well punishment in Greek mythology has amused me the most so far.
As a muslim i partially agree but he didnt explain it completely in Islam this is only for the people who did shirk and one or two other major sins, while all the other people who believed in ALLAH would eventually leave jahanum after after getting their deseving punishment.yes,Allah loves us alot❤
You go to hell if you don't believe in our god - is this a religion ? 🤣💥
@@TonyStark-mm6qy bro that's the whole point of a religion 😂
Buddhism naraka is the most accurate one
Actually hell is divided into 7 step with each below step is harder and uglier than the previous one the first is Jahanam then Luthza then Hutama then Sa'eer then Sakr then Jahem and finally Haweyah and vice versa with Jannah 7 steps the higher the steps the more rewarding and beautiful it becomes first is the Aadn then Ferdauos then Na'em then Ma'wa then Khuld then Makam then finally the highest is Salam.
God bless all hope this corrects the people's thoughts about Islam ❤🙏
Fun fact: hell in Islam isn’t actually a place but it’s a faint creature that has been chained and at each chain 70000 angles are guarding it
Good myth😊
Maturity is when you realise you are already living in hell.
World full of pain and suffering and just never-ending persuit of happiness.
"The world isn't hell for you because you haven't yet seen the bad days" - Buddha
Hell in Christianity actually is described as a dark fiery place. Satan was not told to have dominion over the realm either, just that he’d suffer in Hell with his sinners.
Hinduism is not similar to buddism its buddism that is similar to hinduism cause it came into existence from hindusim itself❤
Bro trowed the divine comedy,Dante and the 9 layers out of the window
Who tf described hell like that in Hinduism ?
"You wouldn't understand even if I sent you to Naraka" - Asuras wrath
Fun fact :- Buddhism is derived form Hinduism and Lord Buddha is actually said to be an incarnation of Lord Visnu, one of the 3 major gods of Hinduism.
As a Christian, I can confirm that it is not fire from Satan, he will be in hell too, suffering with others
in Islam actually, Hell (Jahannam) isn't eternal.
Hell in christianity is described as a swampy cold place
The peace part after Buddhism's "naraka" is actual in islam too.
(Correct me if I'm wrong)
Only for those who believed in The God And All Of His Messengers
Nice explanation. Just a little correction, Hell in Islam is actually temporary for a sinner who still has faith, even as small as atom's core.
A minimum requirements for Faith according to Islam, you just need to believe that God is one (Allah) and prophet Muhammad Pbuh is the messenger of God.
As a Christian, Satan isnt the one controlling hell, he is also punished in hell by God
And if you remember he was freaking out and saying, go back, don't go that way
Sometimes I think a cold hell would be worse...sometimes
