Honestly I felt the same...it’s my favorite song from him and the only song I bought from him. I guess time will tell.. it doesn’t seem so popular now, but I’m willing to bet that it will get its recognition.
Thank YOU Anderson Paak!!! Never thought I could see my emotions played out so well. I have no words, but this is how I feel everyday!
The cameo roster is CRAZY. Even Rock's out of his shell?
I only recognize SiR, Paak, Jay and Syd. Who are the other two?

@@troillandford7679 Anderson paak is blasian himself

Hu Kares that is a common fact used my white supremacists to make the black community look bad, just admit you are racist. You seem so mad the the message is finally being spread. You guys really prove me wrong everyday, you racists get dumber and dumber by the second.🥱 Stay mad racist white boy❄️

WHOA! Jay Rock with the God Like Kendrick flow from half court at the buzzer! That was clutch and I wasn't expecting THIS, but Rock BEEN a dope ass lyricist and is heavily underrated and slept on. This Paak jam was good for the soul 👌🏾✊🏾💪🏾
😂🔥
Actually that was a Jay Electronica flow from Eternal Sunshine.
I second this whole comment!
If you ain’t feeling this, you ain’t human.
Yet again Anderson .Paak 🔥 it 💯
Paak's gonna be one of the greats, he's proven himself so much but something tells me he's about to blow up on another level
Yeah. After the hot song and the six summers... This gon push him into that lane. Ima just wait till he do a drum n freestyles album...
Wow, Anderson .Paak. Sweet voice, talented writer and musician. Fantastic, gifted and inspirational persona. Love his vibe.
The part where he takes his sons hands makes me emotional
Omg ikr I saw that part and girl, tears 😭
I really I’m sad that I have no freedom of speech

Wow, he crafts his words like no one else. Incredible
Why would anyone dislike this? This is a masterpiece... i literally haven't stopped watching it since I first heard it
The hardest repeat loop ever going on right

Anderson. Paak is everything I wanna be with my career, damn! 🙌🏾 🖤
Loved how he used the best way to transmit this type of message, just love andy
this whole song is str8 fire. J Rock came through with a crazy verse
The vibes are IMMACULATE, and the message is something everyone needs to know about
We are. And the ancestors are speaking. And then there are artists like you to awaken the soul. Keep speaking truth brotha, we're present.
Watching this video made me feel so emotional. It’s such an honor to have artists like this to capture the state of the human condition during times like this. My heart goes out to all BIPOC victims of racism in this country, and everyone out there putting their lives at risk on a daily basis to save others in the hospital. My mother is both of those things, and she is my hero. We need to stand together and amplify the voices of the oppressed. Be safe. Sending love out to y’all ❤️✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻❤️
Love the Gill Scott-Heron quote in they Jay Rock verse
This one of them ones that describe the moment in time. while everyone else numb to reality this the one that kids in the future will hear and understand.
This song honestly deserves to win the Grammy.
Jay Rock speaking facts, this whole song is fire
The Jay Rock verse missing from the streaming version is a travesty.
i wonder why that happened?
Probably late in the production
NO WAY ! FR ? rock be spittin fire facts too.
Where can i listen to it
Brad Ramirez he is saying too much real shit they had to suppress it
Jay Rock came through with them TDE bars we need during this time 🔥🔥🔥
Rock came from Rock Bottom!
I swear
This is so emotive and yet so beautiful at the same time. You're music truly brakes barriers
We need more artists like Anderson Paak, J Cole, K-Dot, and the rest of TDE. The real MC only!
@@Aliass. second this^
Second this from Africa. America be feeding the rest of the world 99% garbage music. Only 1% of US artistes are putting dope musics like this. The rest of these new American artistes especially these lil Uzi vert, Kodak, Tekashii, Da baby, Lil baby, etcetera are straight trash.
I mean Jay Rock on this song but yeah
Joj_ Moneybag dude uzi and baby are not trash at all you’re trippin baby literally just dropped a song addressing the same subject and has had the top album on billboard for three weeks now even tho it released 3 months ago. Uzi sold over 360k first week this year so old how that’s “trash”
@@Aliass. True
This confirms that Paak is one of the greatest in this lifetime.
I've been listening since Venice dropped, and it's so beautiful to see his growth as an artist, a man, and a person of influence. Keep it up Paak. ✊🏿
yo he finally got his brother DFD in his MVs now
feels good to see people u used to watch 8-10 years ago and reuniting in a video man

Paak is basically TDE to me at this point, ever since TorcH with Q, they don’t miss when they collab
Bro Anderson Paak does good solo but he’s done a bunch of bomb collabs. Check out Nx Wxrries if you haven’t heard them yet or Free Nationals. All dopey dopeness 💣 🧨 💥 🔥

I agree 1000%. He is a GENIUS and super artist in his own righ! It's amazing the amount of people that come to my home and they are like who is that playing, smh. ***LFS
are people really sleeping on paak tho?
It's weird, I found out about him from a fuckboi cowoker. Almost everything he said I was like, WTF you on? But he was right about Paak!
Jay Rock been A1 since all my life.
It's always hard to make art about history happening in the present instead of in hindsight, but this is pretty damn good.
Bars!
I dont understand how Paak with his talent, voice and lyrics doesnt have 5 millions subscribers instead of 500 thousand!
Anderson. Jae. Ray. Dumb. Syd. All others involved, I cannot thank you enough for this. There is good tears, there is bad tears, and there are healing tears. And i heal up a little bit more every time I listen to this track, love u guys/gals/other stay safe out here. To my fellow protesters, my fellow “essentials” you are brave and i’m standing right with you
Benjamin Ramsey I also agree but you have to understand this simple fact, the rioters do not have black lives matter signs in their hands nor are they protesters. The rioters are not a part of blm. They are simply opportunists, a lot of them are right wingers too, trying to give us a bad look
SiR was there too
@@yendorsaphura 💯💯
@@aliasanew3398 No they're not. Rioters have always been part of EVERY Black struggle. There is a reason Martin didn't condemn them. The Civil Rights Act after MLKs death was passed AFTER the riots and those who sat in the congressional meetings said they passed them BECAUSE of the riots.

Man I hear you and appreciate that we are all connected. There's another very powerful song by the artist called Tall Black Guy and Devin Morrison. The song is called, As the Night Moves. This song is also very powerful to me even though it doesn't have a lot of lyrics. I think they tried to capture the spirit of the movement by channeling the spirit of Marvin Gaye. Check it out:

I'd recommend Bet you can hear us now, by Tom Burton. Much more of a marching protest song
Haven't stopped listening to this since it came out.... captures so much of what's going on in 2020. Soothes the soul. Thanks Paak!
"The people are rising" you damn right. Well done Anderson * fist up *
Paak has just been on a whole other level since day one
Anderson at Grammy's win: "This song Lockdown is dedicated to every human being who has a voice. If you have a voice, don't be afraid to use it. Cause they watching, and this is the proof."
That speech was well needed
