Anderson Paak is truly a cheat code. Can jump on any song and just instantly bring it up a few levels. These two should have made more music together, they were an iconic duo. Although I am always a bit sad when thinking about Mac, It’s such a beautiful thing as an artist, knowing that your art will someday outlive you, and continue to be appreciated long after you’re gone. Mac is one of my biggest inspirations as a new artist. I’ll probably never find any thing close to mainstream success, but I am just grateful to be able to make music. Thanks for the constant inspiration Mac. Can’t wait to see you again some day

I always thought they'd be fucked up shit, but I got hooked on heroin and it's really just a feeling like you're floating and you feel damn near perfect until you come down off of the high. It sucks, but drugs are..a coping mechanism for a lot of us so we don't know how to deal with the addiction.

I will always love to smoke heroin but i just cant , its no good. been clean for 2 months off an almost 3 year run, but i didnt cold turkey, i slowly leaned off until i just didnt crave. although those cravings are always there. just about discipline. i used to think drugs were the worst but then i got on the other side and experienced what addicts experienced and i understand. crazy too because most recovering addicts ive met were A LOT nicer and more mature than those who had never used and were ignorant to it all. but ggs we got a life to live and malcolm brings us together so lets be strong , for us, our family, him, but mainly ourselves ;)
@@chvIry For sure, man! I only realized how bad it was once I was told by a very close friend that everyone in my school and such could tell I was on drugs. I overdosed twice, so I decided to get clean. Almost 2 months now, surprisingly. It's a struggle, but I have the people around me to keep me strong. Best of luck to you.

I haven't listed to Mac in years, like 4-5. but for some reason I was listening to Nike's On My Feet the night before he died. And I recently got off heroin. It'll be two years for me in November. So hearing about Mac really hit home. I'm rediscovering his music all over again, and all of the stuff he made over the last 4 years. He really was one of the best artist of this generation. I hope he found that peace he always spoke about in his music. People always say "oh he was so talented, i can't keep losing artists" etc etc. As if he is more important than the every man. He was just a human, with the same struggles and problems as all of us, still a mortal. It is very sad, to lose someone so young and full of life, but heed the warning this brings. You've only got one life, spend it wisely. RIP Mac, thanks for all the good vibes you brought to earth through the killer music you made.

Same... I haven't listed to Mac since 2014, by the time he came to Lisbon for Rock In Rio 2014. I was there, didn't quite enjoyed his style of music. For some reason, searched him up on 6th september night, and really loved Dang. Couldn't stop listening to it. Next night, I search mac miller age for curiosity and his death on the news appears... Really shocked, Mac will definetly be missed.

The Mac-Paak was a genius combo. The way Paak made the hook speaking about his friends that died untimely deaths. THEN, Mac-who just went thru a very grande/ public breakup w Grande- he changed the WHOLE song tone to b a really dope profound/catchy breakup song. AND THEN, after the tragic death of Mac, Paak -without changing a single word- he reverted it back to an and even more profund- song about the untimely deaths of close friends (including the legend.) Absolutely sad/scary/brilliant
