Anderson Paak is truly a cheat code. Can jump on any song and just instantly bring it up a few levels. These two should have made more music together, they were an iconic duo. Although I am always a bit sad when thinking about Mac, It’s such a beautiful thing as an artist, knowing that your art will someday outlive you, and continue to be appreciated long after you’re gone. Mac is one of my biggest inspirations as a new artist. I’ll probably never find any thing close to mainstream success, but I am just grateful to be able to make music. I haven't listed to Mac in years, like 4-5. but for some reason I was listening to Nike's On My Feet the night before he died. And I recently got off heroin. It'll be two years for me in November. So hearing about Mac really hit home. I'm rediscovering his music all over again, and all of the stuff he made over the last 4 years. He really was one of the best artist of this generation. I hope he found that peace he always spoke about in his music. People always say "oh he was so talented, i can't keep losing artists" etc etc. As if he is more important than the every man. For some reason, searched him up on 6th september night, and really loved Dang. Couldn't stop listening to it. Next night, I search mac miller age for curiosity and his death on the news appears... Really shocked, Mac will definetly be missed.

I will always love to smoke heroin but i just cant , its no good. been clean for 2 months off an almost 3 year run, but i didnt cold turkey, i slowly leaned off until i just didnt crave. although those cravings are always there. just about discipline. i used to think drugs were the worst but then i got on the other side and experienced what addicts experienced and i understand. crazy too because most recovering addicts ive met were A LOT nicer and more mature than those who had never used and were ignorant to it all. but ggs we got a life to live and malcolm brings us together so lets be strong , for us, our family, him, but mainly ourselves ;)

Getting clean doesn't mean a number of days it means forgetting there was ever a connection to you in the first place.

Getting through the days n years in count doesn't mean ur clean it means ur ignoring a dormant monster.
