la canzone è stata scritta da suo padre...grande artista morto 10 anni fa sul palco durante un concerto...lei lo ha voluto omaggiare con questa versione riarrangiata da lei e dal fratello(batterista)

That could've been enough to deter her from ever climbin on a stage again, yet she faught with that trauma by climbin back on it and shining and there she is now. Her dad would be very proud of all she s achieving as a person and as a singer.
On addin more info on why choosing this song, asides from the meaning of it,Pino recorded this song when Angelina was barely one year old and he used to take her to the studio durin the makin of it; the quartet that rearranged and played La Rondine for her on the Sanremo stage is the same that played and recorded the original version with her father, so they all have a vivid memory of baby Angelina in the studio by her father as he recorded it. Pretty insane twist that I don't think they had even ever thought would occurr to them.

Her parents were both professional singers, her dad was super loved in Italy, plus he died of a heart attack in the middle of one of his concert performances when she was 12, so hearing her singing and keeping up the family tradition so well and singing one of her dad's songs in such superb way... getting emotional and crying is an understatement! I also felt so surprised, happy and proud, as if she was of my own kin! 🤣

This video is from the 4th evening of Sanremo where all the singers choose a cover to bring. Angelina decided to bring this song of her father Pino Mango from 2002. Her father died in december 2014 while performig on the stage, Angelina was present at the concert where he died, she was only thirteen years old and witnessed the whole thing live. He suffered a massive heart attack and died on the way to the hospital. Mango was a genius of pop and electronic music. 'La rondine' is an iconic song from the early 2000s, full of electropop overtones. For us Italians it was a very emotional moment

hi this is not the winning song. This is from the cover night and it's a cover from his father Pino Mango who was a famous italian singer. Pino died on stage 10 years ago and Angelina was 12 y.o. and was in the audiece of the concert. At Angelina's father's funeral her uncle died too for an heart attack. This song was a tribute.

A Sanremo si partecipa con una canzone inedita ( per Angelina era " la noia " ) poi c'è una serata dove i cantanti fanno le cover di altri cantanti ... Ho visto come tanti, quest'uomo morire senza far spaventare nessuno durante il concerto. Uscito in punta di piedi dalla vita di tutti: famigliari e fan. Pensavo alle parole, alla musica che dopo questa brutta esperienza potessero essere presentate. Proprio perchè l'autore non c'è più. E la canzone è molto bella. La cosa più importante è che sua figlia si riprenda. È brava, ha tempo per presentare nuove canzoni. Ti ringrazio per questa precisazione.
