In this video I will be unboxing and do some initial testing of the FogBuster.
This system is used to deposit small amounts off coolant without atomizing.
This way the shop stays clean, and my lungs keep working, so they say.

Great video and good to finally meet you.
Nothing wrong with your english. It's my native language and I have to do multiple takes because I can't get it right.
Keep up the good work mate.
Cheers
Peter
Thanks Peter, Thats very nice to hear buddy !
I will try to talk some more... :)
Cheers !
Good job keep up with these videos … thanks from Montreal
A bit late, but thanks ! Hope you follow along !
Thank you for an excellent overview of the cooling system. Excellent video!
Thanks a lot Custom Cycle ! Very nice to hear !
Unboxing and some initial testing of the FogBuster coolant / lubrication system..
Likes, thumbs-up, shares and views in general are much appreciated !

Very informative video. Thank you!
A bit late but thanks ! Please follow the channel !
I like your channel, famously telling and to the point. With English but I'm not very friendly, but the good UA-cam that half can be understood without words, thank you!
Thank you very much for your support buddy ! Very nice to hear !
Good detailed video of this coolant instalation.
Congratulations to your successful appearance in front of the camera.
look forward to more! :-)
Thanks Hermann !
And indeed, after a lot of people asking for it i finally turned the camera over... :)
And more to come, but 'time' where do we find time... :)
Thank You Very Much
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Thank you buddy! Just where I live, these are not met ...
Maybe Ebay..
Perhaps through Ebay will be cheaper and faster, and even free shipping. Thank you suggested convenient option. Immediately order a wholesale, I think many of my friends come in handy.
P.S. By the way I think of buying BF 20 CNC, although it would be better Grizzly G0704, but the two do not give problemmy to do it:
1. Mark on Grizzly G0704 in inches
2. In Russia it does not deliver, or deliver, but expensive
Glad i could help.. ! And good luck with the mill !
(think de optimum would be most easy, it's from germany)
Neatly made Marcel..... impressive!!. Not so much stuff on the table...nice setup. You put it good infront of the camera and your english is fine..I will see your next video forward. If I make movies I stay behind the lens:-))
Thanks buddy,
Ya well still prefer to be behind the lens also ;), but we'll see in the next :)
(Still have plenty old video to compile)
Thanks for your support buddy
Hey man, your set up is coming along really nice. Looking forward to some more machining videos. Great work on your English speaking. You sound better than me ;-) lol. Cheers Aaron
Thanks Aaron !
Well there will be more machining video's. I'm in need of some parts for my new router.
But most of my video's are some sort of 'how to' video's, and on metal machining i'm just a rooky.. So you should also make more video's to get me to the right level :)
Thanks for the video, very informative. I think I'll be buying a fog buster. I've got a cheap Chinese mist system on my mill at the moment and it's terrible.
+Michael Murphy Glad you liked it Michael !
great work thanks for the post!
thanks
Goed bezig!
Bedankt Pelle !
Glad to see you in the video, keep it up, your English will improve exponentially! I've been looking at fogbuster, they obviously use a filter housing for the coolant tank and I wonder how difficult it would be to make my own nozzle system. I've been using ethanol like Datron do but using a cheap airbrush for delivery, not sure if I will end up drunk or not. How is the Fenella? Does it smell OK?
Thanks buddy !
And indeed it will be good for my English, and I think people should be glad that I at least try..
Well i don't think it would be really hard to make, and there are already DIY project to be found on this subject. The whole deal on this system is to pressurize the tank (indeed a aquarium filter i guess). This way the droplets do not atomize as they will in an airbrush (as it's supposed to).
The fenella does not smell but is labeld with the X (Harmful ):
R 53 May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
R 65 Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed.
R 66 Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
Well let's say im not an expert, but they do sell this shell together with the FogBuster at Sorotec
RoboCNC Frees- & Graveerwerk Thanks for the info. The clever bit must be in the head as they are doing something to the pressurised stream to create droplets rather than just a constant flow. I might just order one from Sorotec as life is short :)
I do think the clever bit is to pressurize the fluid to the same pressure as the airflow...
I think this is why the droplets stay bigger then when you drop a normal droplet into an airstream.. But well I have no mist system to compare it to, so maybe your up :)
Your English is just fine. You might think about where you put the container. It will be hard to see when it is empty and doesn't look convenient to fill it.
Thank you David.. !
I think filling will be fine when done like done in this video, just take off the bottom part. Indeed using the filler cap will be impossible now..
I did think of putting it higher, behind the mill, but its a small shop, and i have to make use of every little corner.. :)
i have a noga minicool mc3000 series with 2 nozzles and works very good! however fogbuster system i see its another good idea and the fluid tank its awesome!
Thanks Eugenio Villaverde !
I have been looking at that system to, and think both will work fine the same way.
It's the fact this one is supposed to keep the mist/fog in the shop down that made me go for this system.
I have a very small shop, and its not only metalworking, but also wood, and even finishing, so i want to keep the oils at the mill :)
you have shop online? well, i am very glad to visit it! where i found?
You mean for my own company?
Or for the FogBuster?
Well RoboCNC can be found on all social media platforms, and RoboCNC.nl
The Fogbuster is bought at Sorotec in germany. (I'm from The Netherlands)
The output cap on the water housing looks like a special 2 outlet piece for the small tubing. I can see the liquid pickup tube goes down to the housing bottom, but where does the air tube pick up air? Does the nipple on the output cap connect to a tube on the inside? Or is it just open to the air at the top of the container inside?
It is just open... The air pressure for the nozzle is the same as the pressure as in the container.
The regulator sets this pressure and is used for two reasons, 1 the air pressure to one of the outgoing lines and do push the coolant (at the same pressure) out of the fluid line. (Make sure to subscribe btw ;) )
Your English is good enough a few foreign words won't kill us, , so don’t worry about the extra takes 1 will be fine
Thanks a lot !
Nice piece of kit.. have you used it yet?..
Not enough to give any results Jan...
And..... I'm quite new to machining metals all and all :)
Maybe you should come over and do the testing :P
RoboCNC Frees- & Graveerwerk I just might... i'll bring along some Titanium... :)
Hahaha.. You have an evil mind !
This is a optimum Jan, no Beagle.. ;)
Hey i made my first titanium watchcase on a hbm lathe...and now I'm "mass producing" watches on an old emco 5 cnc...handles it well. . :)
Hi, thank you for the great video!! anyone knows where to get the same evaporative coolant here in the US?
No sorry i have no clue... at least try to find out if the mist is hazardous, (I hope mine is, in the long run)
What do you call a tool in his right hand, on the 5:07 second video? Where can I buy it?
It's called a cable tie gun (affiliate : amzn.to/1wVGKas )
And it doesnt create any vapour ???? I bought a chinese one and after 5 minutes there is a cloud around me.
Oskars Lapsa there can always be a bit, but no clouds! This one has a different principle to prevent the mist...
where do buy your coolant?
I bought it with the set in Germany (neighbor country) at CNC-step
