I had listened to his radio show every morning on my way to work. One Sunday I was determined to meet him. I drove to his church before his Sunday service and asked for an audience. After a few moments I was ushered into his office. He greeted me like an old friend. I was able to tell him that I passed the power he transmitted to me onto my students. This brought a big smile to his face. He passed away suddenly the next Wednesday. And so it is.
I grew up thinking that faith was something that we had to strive for with all of our strength...and fall short every time. I never realized that faith is already a part of us. We use faith every day of our lives for different results. I love the comparison to gravity. We don't try to believe in gravity.
All my life as a child there have been challenges that have followed me through my adult life. When I saw my four year old niece killed by a car as a teenager year later first boyfriend died in car accident coming to visit me "wow" at that point in my life being in a very unstable home I needed something that would get me through "that when I realized there is a power.. A year ago realize it time for me to become " Whole* and that is when I was "Blessed to hear Ernest Holmes" he have changed my life and taking me to what I pray for "Wholeness" Thank You...

This is so fascinating. I am a huge believer in this kind of thinking, unfortunately have no idea why I don't apply it to my life. Well, I have from time to time and Mr. Homes is so right in his delivery. Further he adds the aspect of Jesus, whom I believe was a student of this belief. Faith is the corner stone of this belief, its that's simple. Over a decade ago, I found a copy of " The Science of Getting Rich ( A pocket Guide)Its been in my wallet that long. Apparently, is was written in 1914 or so, by an obscure man, can't recall his name. Hubble something. Anyway, he wrote about the very same thing Mr. Holmes is talking about here in this video. The Law exists! It simply does, as so many "teachers" are talking about now. Call it what you want, the truth happens in this belief. Thanks for sharing this Video. In my own words, keep the Faith.
@Ed He makes so many "points" by pretty much everything he says...his words are simple but deep; our minds seem to want to complicate everything. I take phrases that speak to me from Holmes and other teachers (like Joseph Murphy), and write them, and repeat them, and contemplate them over and over....we need to replace all the false teachings we've grown up believing, and repetition does this.....Maybe there's another teacher who speaks to you more than Holmes does
There is a difference between religion and a relationship with the living God who was manifested in the person of Jesus Christ. If you read the gospels, what's most interesting is that Jesus spent most of his time hanging out with sinners and had often harsh words for the religious leaders. I think Dr. Holmes has practical advice for daily living, in this life . In the modern world we can compare the mind of God to a giant i cloud. We can tap into this source. The bible says: ""The Just shall live by Faith". Seek the kingdom of God first and everything else shall be given to you.
Fear is not of God. Belie eve that Divine Law & Order is established and governs your life. The fear will subside. You are divinely guided and protected. Just believe.... KEEP WELL.
