The Promise Of Youth In A Jar?
Charlotte Tilbury. Mother. Makeup artist. Magician. What words can be used to describe one of the most sought after, and dare i say, famous makeup artists today. If you've opened a magazine in the past 20 years you will have seen her work. Celebrities want her. Designers adore her. And now with her own makeup line the coming out - the famous and ever elusive "Charlottes Magic Cream" finally gets released to us mere mortals. But is it any good and more importantly does it actually delivery Youth & Luminosity in a jar?
Yes.
Opening up the jar is like opening up a christmas present you've been wanting years for. The excitement was overwhelming. After hearing about this cream for years and wanting it to finally have some - well, i not only wanted to love it i wanted to REALLY love it.
The cream is a thick and will remind people of old cold creams of days gone by. But don't let that put you off, what we have inside is up to date ingredients mixed with a gorgeous dose of "dew" which instantly turns the skin into a glowing canvas for foundation to slide over.
To be this is the perfect primer. Giving skin that dewy, gorgeous slowing skin. Its love for me.

So glad I found your blogs. I have had thyroid surgery to prevent cancer from growing and now My skin and hair are suffering. At only 38, a former make up artist, I have grown tired of trying since the surgery. I'm looking forward to this cream. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air
I HEART CHARLOTTE!!! She is my idol along with Pat McGrath and Lisa Eldrige. I love creative women who are out there conquering and making a legacy for future generations of women to follow in their footsteps. Inspiring. Thanks, Wayne for this. I want this cream, but I'm still not quite sure it would work on my very sensitive combo/oily skin because it's got rose hip oil, camellia oil in it, and it's not that I can get oily, it's that I'm afraid the oils will piss my skin off and make me break out. Opinon??

The ingredients in no particular order are: Bio-nymph Peptide Complex, Sodium Hyaluronate, Camellia Oil, Vitamin E, Damask Rose Water, Rose Hip Oil, Frangipani, Bio-nymph Peptide Complex.
Also has SPF15.

Beyond Amazing! This is what the cosmetic industry is missing & I need. This will eliminate numerous steps with achieving the "No make up make up look" or the natural look seen in cosmetic & skincare commercials. It takes a lot of products, skills & techniques to make your make up look like you have great skin. That primer is the new way of cheating gorgeous youthful healthy ageless skin. YES, oily skins can use this, but sparingly. I got the opportunity to try it and its really wonderful. If you are oily just set areas of your face you don't want shine. With this cream you must rub it into the skin. Hope that helps :)
as much as i love Charlotte tilbury and will try out her products the magic cream just seems like a thick, shiny moisturizer with shimmer in it

I feel buying skincare in a jar is a waste of money! The air hits the beneficial ingredients and begins to degrade them. I love Charlotte's makeup but won't waste my money on this cream! Wish it came in an air tight pump or tube!
I agree 💯 they change you soo much for the product but they can’t have proper packaging. Thats what I love about Elizabeth Arden her line has air tight pumb
I usually but the travel size. Its tiny and you dont have to worry about it degrading before you use it up.

I love her! Lisa Elridge did a few videos where she introduced well renowned make up artists and she had Charlotte Tilburry in a video and I immediately subbed to her channel. She also had Mary Green guest in a video, but I prefer how Lisa applies and how Charlotte applies make up. They're gentler, it's almost like they're not doing anything to the skin and BAM the model looks perfect. You're amazing too of course! you should come to Kuwait and do a make up seminar

I have oily /combination skin and I (contrary to many others who have the same skin type) like a nice dewy complexion, but my problem is my skin looks great at first then I look like a shine fest. My foundation is gorgeous, I love it & causes no reaction/spots, oxidisation and lasts all day/night!
Worth the price tag as you need a tiny drop and it spreads beautifully ;)

hey wayne! I watch your videos over and over because I love learning new great ways to blen eye shaddow! I have been trying to find a video on blending eyeshaddow on deep set eyes! can you PLEASE do a detailed tutorial on the correct way to apply eye shaddow on deep set eyes. for some reason all of my fav youtubers ( you being one ;)) dont have a video fpr that!

This is a great product for dry or normal skin, definitely not for oily skin though, (I am 60 & my skin is as oily now as it was at 15), but this is lovely product for sure :)

There's a really great primer by a brand called Arbonne, i'm not a fan of their stuff in general, but the primer is amazing, better than hourglass imo, it has great reviews on makeupalley too, i think you'd love it x
