Using the static of the mode, I realized that A-60 spawns even if I don't open a door, so I had to instantly go through rooms without lockers while having the 1000 yard stare and camped lockers when the static got heavy.
I believe this kinda makes the game somewhat easier maybe, i mean sometimes i cant hear A-200 sound or A-60, but hey. Im greatful that they have this deaf mode. Gonna try it for sure.
@BloxxerTheAwesome to be more precise, when an angler like is passing/about to pass by, an appropriately colored "veiny" effect is applied to the screen (grey for regular, pink for pinkie, dark red for pandemonium etc), aswell as giving every footsteps an indicator, which can help to identify the wall dweller, but you need to look really close since tge footsteps of players also get shown, other entities don't have/need a sound cue so that is it. I myself consider the pressures deaf mode to be somewhat a cheat, or easy mode if you want, since it doesn't remove sounds when enabled unlike R&D.

if a deaf mode is done CORRECTLY, the visual cues should provide no difference for hearing people compared to HOH/deaf people, this is because [yet again if done CORRECTLY] the visual cues should match up with the audio cues, not granting any benefits besides adding onto what was already there
I have a problem: why can't I see when A-250 is coming using the stupid scanner? I have to take off the scanner to know if A-250 is coming because the visual signals are deactivated when using it.
This is useful since my ear is suck as hell turn up volume do almost nothing the a-60 have really small sound and i only notice it appearances when is too late w c14 or j14 i forgot his name
For some reason every time I encounter A-120 ( Excluding the guaranteed spawn at room A-120) it never shows any indicator or anything to warn me that it has spawned on deaf mode, I dont know if this is a bug or if i'm not seeing the indicator that A-120 has spawned.
i prefer using r&d's deaf mode because im a coward and the ambient noises freak me out and my audio processing is kinda delayed so i gotta rely on visual indicators to properly assess threats
Deaf mode for A-60 after door 150 is basically ass cause when A-60 reach speed limit, when the screen shake you got 2 seconds to hide and lemme tell you dis That 2 seconds has already been waste searching for a table or a locker and that 1 seconds for the animation

A-200 is almost impossible to not notice as it already gives you a obvious cue of screen turning grey
