I haven't seen many designers selling subscriptions for their Kadence cloud templates until this date which is a great opportunity in the market. The ones I've seen don't have a great design and modern templates. I wish I had time to do that but it's not even in my niche. It sure helps people create sites faster.
It's all magic 🧙🏼
I didn't understand everything as I'm a French speaker and I go through a translator.
But I did understand that I'm not going to regret taking a lifetime license from ⛰️ *Kadence* ⛰️
Adam don't bother to say THANK YOU for watching the video, it's us who thank you for this *wonderful presentation*
Yes you did get the message that there will never be a regret for that purchase. This cloud functionality, later in the month brings dynamic content, and later this year a lead gen plugin named Kadence Convert. All free to members.
Thanks for putting this on my radar. Always good info here. 👍
This is going to seriously change the game. I love it. Thank you for sharing the details. You have my wheels spinning with ideas. Keep up the great videos!
We all need to get together to share ideas to implement. Someone messaged me after the video and said he will use this for blog post templates (the content etc). I love that idea and am gonna use it. But it's only scratching the surface.
Holy crap, this is absolutely fantastic! I love the Kadence team, and your videos are top notch Adam
Wonderful! Thanks for the heads up. :-)
Thanks for the great video Adam. Have a great weekend
My pleasure.
So excited for this... really impressed with Kadence, and happy I got a membership.
Another great video too. Would love to see your WAAS tutorial! Thanks Adam.
Hey Dean, yes I know that Ultimo 2 is coming out finally, really soon. So the tools I would use are Ultimo 2 and Kadence Cloud. I think it will be the best solution on the market.
Really awesome and looks promising. Thanks for the sharing this new updates.👍
My pleasure!!
Great bonus to the Kadence subscription I bought. I recently changed my business website from Elementor Pro to Kadence & have noticed phenomenal speed increase.
Yes me too on the speed improvements. And I too am happy that this is just included.
I’ve been considering switching mine over to kadence blocks from elementor pro. But you’d say it’s worth it?
@@brockdavies7015 I think so.
Thank you Adam.. it was a helpful video 🙏 waiting to check it out myself 🔥
Oh yes, it should be this upcoming week, the beta.
well done!!! cant wait!!
This is an awesome addition to Kadence...this is going to make kadence a lot more popular..
But instead of limiting Kadence cloud to just sections, I want this to include starter sites too so that it will be easy to make site similar to Envato Elements Elementor template kit section.
You can already do that with the Kadence Child Theme builder :-). See the video on it, the link is in the description.
@@WPCrafter that's awesome..I thought it was only to export single theme.
OH SNAP this is genius #NextLevelWordPressDesign! 🙌🏻⚡️🎉💥💪🏻
The importing blocks and pages that adapt to our site style is genius! Very interested Adam in the ‘building our own themes’ concept indeed$$ so if we sign up for Kadence Pro we can package that theme w our child themes we produce to sell? Luv to know more about as I’m just not clear 💯
Sorry yes, just added this to the video description which covers child themes ua-cam.com/video/gqTanM8KsAk/v-deo.html
Yes the child theme builder enables you to build out complete websites using Elementor or Gutenberg, then package them up into their own child theme. You sell the child theme. The customer installs it on their website and with a few mouse clicks their site is set up with the design you sold them. Now this new cloud takes it even further because you can also include access to a cloud library to made just for them.
People are already doing this right now and crushing it.
Amazing additions. Looking forward to your tutorial on WAAS .
My problem is I tend to wait too long, you know for a product to evolve to where it would make a great tutorial. Thank goodness the stars are finally aligning for that video.
Question is there any plans to add the child themes that we build to the cloud system so tat people can install the themes with in wordpress ?
Or ism there a way to do that already
Goldddddd superbbbb
Yup :-)
Thanks a lot. If I do not use child theme is it the same procedure to give access to my theme?
Very cool feature!
When you give access to a customer can it be split into free and paid templates or would you need 2 separate kadence clouds?
For that use case initially you will add a custom function to choose what is free and what is pro. This iwll be documented. So you can do it all through 1 cloud.
Hey Adam,
Is there a way to generate client specific access keys? I’m thinking about the use-case where a client wants to move on to another designer. It would be helpful to have the ability to disable their specific access key without affecting existing clients.
This is amazing! Thank you so much for the update. Looking forward to the Beta
With the cloud would you load all sites on to one or can you add already build sites to it
Can the cloud opens be used with creating Elementor sections? If they can, are there issues with reselling those?
This looks amazing. Can't wait for the BETA to be released so we can start playing around with it. Thanks for sharing an early look.
22:33 looking forward to see a starter
W-AA-S
So exciting! Is there a way to restrict access by category or by item?
Yes this will be initially done with a custom function, I'll make sure to include that in the video I make. It will be easy.
Great video, I like the pricing table style, do you have a tuts on creating pricing table?
I don't but I should. Its quite easy to make really.
@@WPCrafter alright, thanks for the feedback, I'll do some research, once again 👏 great video really informative.
Mind blown! This is amazing! Thanks for sharing this in advance Adam! I'm highly anticipating this new feature.
Adam, can you explain how one would build a webdesign business around using the cloud to make a 5-page website for a specific niche - e.g. the client would buy access to our dedicated pages to suit their niche e.g. three "about" pages for coaches, three "contact pages" with the same style.
I love Kadence! But it seems so reliant on the customizer. Does Kadence have plans to convert to full site editing in the coming years? I'm trying to decide how much to go full into Kadence or how much to perhaps lean into FSE.
hi how are you guyz doing thanks for the useful information here are my thoughts
@elementor, hope you're listening
Elementor should add something like this. In the meantime Elementor support will be added to Kadence Cloud.
Adam - seems like that License Manager plugin would create WooCommerce coupons for LifterLMS (or LearnDash) via WooCommerce. Right? Basically, for example, a Woo product including a 5-pack of courses actually uses LicMgr to create 5 coupons, which can be distributed to 5 students, who individually use a coupon code. Right?
I have never used the plugin but I will be testing it with Kadence Cloud in mind. I'll let you know what I find :-).
Hi you said in your video you might do a free kadence Cloud if we add to your sections to a template that I plan to sell will there be any issues with that
Yes I am deep in planning this out. Anything I can do to help people be successful, that is what I am gonna do. So if you use them to create a new work that you want to sell, I am all for that.
Its in Kadence already I have downloaded it but if you have a template in Elementor and want to add that to the cloud they currently do not work
Great addition! I'm guessing Kadence Cloud can only be used with Kadence blocks for Gutenberg and not Elementor? I really need to start playing with Gutenberg.
They are going to add Elementor later. The only thing there is more interface related. So they would just need to hook into Elementor's section template system like other plugins do. They 100% are going to do this.
@@WPCrafter Great to hear! Looking forward to it.
And other Page Builders like Beaver Builder?
I would be able to save entire Gutenberg blog layout templates too?
@@MerlinFXOnlineWizard Same as with Elementor, the ability is there, they just need to develop how to access the cloud inside of Beaver Builder. I suppose it would depend on if there was enough requests.
And yes 1 template can have as much or as little in it. It can be a full page or just a section. Or anything in between.
Hey Adam, do you know if this will be included for people who bought the lifetime deal previously or would this be an upsell? I got the lifetime deal a long time ago. Cheers
Not an upsell :-)! Just them adding value to all the people that have a membership. So you get this for zero additional cost. Not a bad deal huh?
@@WPCrafter that's pretty awesome. I wonder how the cloud will work if you want to have separate "workspaces" kind of thing. I have team members that help me with websites and I'd like them to have access to some reusable blocks and sites, but not all that might be premium for top clients I implement on their sites. Not sure if this will work or if it's more like "1 cloud account" per lifetime membership. Not sure if that makes sense.
@@gregpalma9681 Just asked about having a "collections" feature to it. It would be a taxonomy to facilitate separating things.
@@WPCrafter nice, thanks for doing that! 😃
great option , well something is missing , for example: i want to sell a yearly access to my templates so i need to know wich website is using my cloud then if i wanted to take off the access i can know wich website i will do that for .. this i think it should be there in the remove options .. waiting for the release
Yes if you are using the license manager plugin and selling via woocommerce, it would remove the license.
Do you have a tutorial on how to build full dynamic kadence websites, I am a current elementor and crocoblock builder so any help would be appreciated
Dynamic content is being released later this month to Kadence Blocks. So standby on that one :-)
I want it now lol
No option of design template coming in dashboard
Not sure I follow your question. Can you rephrase it.
@@WPCrafter Whenever I am going for new post/page , the option of design template is not coming left side upper corner.
@@AksharaConcept Oh gotcha. That is Kadence Block v2 which will be released on Monday. The beta is in their Facebook group right now.
customize sidebar is not appearing in WP dashboard
Does this just work with Kadence Blocks? The reason I ask is because Toolset has just released an update that makes its blocks Kadence compatible.
Hey Gary, this will work with any blocks. The only catch is, the child site will need to be using the same set of blocks. So if it is Toolset, then the cloud site and child site will need toolset. And so goes any of the various block packages on the market.
Adam, please can you make a tutorial for kadance pro users ? Fictional agency with services (translation, law) but with all pro kadence capabilities ?
Will this also work with Elementor?
Question: does it work if I want to use other plugins for designs, like Elementor or learningDash, does this new feature will tell us the plugin requirement?
Great question. So this right now works with the WordPress block builder and most likely Elementor is going to be added soon after. So for LearnDash, it uses the WordPress block builder when adding content to a lesson or a couse page. That will work fine.
i think there is another similar plugin for elementor designs
@@informph what is that solution? Does a solution exist like this for Divi?
@@dougscott188 im not aware i dont use divi, i prefer elementor, so im looking forward for kadence cloud to include my elementor templates, im using kadence in one of my websites, its super lightweight.
@@informph I was doing some research and saw a solution called WP Layouts that worked with Divi and Elementor.
Hello. I have a question: if You have to decide between Kadense and Elementor what will you do?
Well that is a personal decision and I would suggest that you try both out to see which better meets your needs. Or more so which you are more comfortable using. Personally I have chosen Kadence for simplicity and performance.
@@WPCrafter until something else comes out next... you were a big proponent for elementor and lots of folks followed your lead on that, now you’re kind of abandoning Elementor.
@@Kal-el23 Well I have barely made any content on Elementor in 2 years. And Elementor came out like 5 years ago. So I am not fully abandoning anything, just doing what I should be doing, which is being open-minded :-)
That's amazing! Are we able to remove the "Sections" and "Starter Packs" options from the child-site side?
Not via the interface, I can check if there are any functions that can be added to do that. I would think so.
@@WPCrafter Thank you!
I got lifetime a while ago will this be included ? Many thanks for this video
If it was the lifetime membership, then yup yup! Awesome right!!!!
Brilliant. Kadence is brilliant
YOU ARE A FUCKING GENIUS
My problem now is relearning everything again. I am an elementor pro designer, but Kadence is offering much for me. I just don't understand why Elementor won't do this with their Hello theme.
What else do you consider kadence is offering you over Elementor?
You need Kadence Pro on both sides, right?
You don't need Kadence Pro or Kadence Blocks Pro on either site :-).
Does a solution that is similar to this exist for Divi?
I answered my own question. There is something called LayoutCloud that works with Divi and another called WP Layouts. I plan to check out both of these as well as Kadence.
Yes there are a few on the market, but the negatives are they require you to install a plugin on the child site, and they are not suitable for clients. Also, they are not self hosted or open source, meaning you can't extend them.
This is amazing Adam. It will save a ton of time when working with our team members for sections we need to add to our blogs and websites. The best investment made in 2020 :)
It is nice, but not a game changer. Divi portability feature has existed for a long time, exporting and importing a json file is actually a simpler process, not everything needs to be in the clouds. The more external resources you connect to your website, the slower it gets.
Naw I think import / exporting is a drag and it's completely unpractical. How are you going to manage 100 different designs? Also, you don't have the controlled client access. I am not sure if Divi's color and font selections are hard set. I mean if it works for you, great, but I don't find manually importing text files a practical at all. Just my opinion though. Also if you have staff its even more challenging.
I used Divi quite a bit. When Kadence came out I never looked back. Divi and Kadence/gutenberg are completely different game levels. Divi has global colors since recently, but they work much harder than in Kadence and they don't have global typography which is a pain to set with presets and then manually click each time. Also I don't get their "everything should be in the builder" philosophy. I don't want to open a page, load the builder, then use a module that has color options and then click some small icon to get to the global colors. Then you go to the settings for the theme, and there is a color palette yo can set, but that is just so you have it at hand, it's not global colors lol. They didn't think this through, just adding features on top of features and trying to make sense of their decisions. That's where I said enough is enough I need a better approach for my business.
That being said, using json import/export is not a solution for clients. Clients want "one-click installs". And you want that too, because then you can charge that one-click install much more than having them sweat and call you back when they import json file into the media library :)
I had a colleague tell me yesterday that he is going to get me build his new websites from now on as he saw how I migrated his website and speeded it up in just a few moments on a new server, something his former "developers" have done much slower. The point is, he was impressed with my speed and smoothness for the process. But the reality is, I use tools that are not some random free plugins in WP repository but from credible companies, theme like Kadence that is blazing fast and future proof, automated my other processes so that my clients pay for my brain, not the hands :)
Also, making client's website ping your "cloud website" to fetch layout code data once every few days, that's not bloated. It doesn't slow the website down. What you think is happening probably is coming from Divi and when their builder fetches existing premade layouts from their own servers, you can make a coffee until that is done. So this is not a real Kadence cloud, this is a plugin that lets your client website fetch block layout information from your reference website. Super easy and super fast.
Yeah I get you, having that many websites to manage I wouldn't change from Divi either lol. I hope one day Divi will release something native to their platform so that power users like yourself can benefit and integrate it on top of the existing websites.
Hello. Could you make a review on Bricks Builder? Thanks in advanced.
Great video! Looks like you need some sleep though ;)
Add youtube subtitles please, my english is not the best.
UA-cam will automatically generate this for the video. Sorry I don't have the capabilities to have subtitles when I publish a video. I will work on that.
@@WPCrafter Thank you so much, I thought that maybe that was some extra resource because some videos appear and others don't.
@@joanapadua3075 Yes its something UA-cam does for these videos, thank goodness. Now if they would only do it instantaneously. I see it's there now.
@@WPCrafter Great. I just watched the video, great tutorial, great resources, I'm excited to be able to use it with the child theme builder :)
Thanks for the great video!
