Jess Harper on Laramie was even faster and hit the ground, rolled and shot from the ground. I think Jess did it before Joe, but Joe is very good too. I had forgotten until I started watching the reruns on utube that Joe fought almost exactly like Jess.
Good to see Bob Barker before the price is right. ❤ I use to go see the show when it was being filmed. Every taping someone always asked if he was going to give Adam Sandler a rematch. 😂
Adam's the brains of the family, and is often the wisest and most intuitive. He's the best at figuring people out and he's the oldest brother through and through, looking out for the others.
Lol. two things where certain. If you wore a red shiirt on star treck you died. And if you dated a Cartright you where ran over by a carraige or died from something. If you where lucky your life was ruined completely somehow.
I think this series would have been a lot better had Adam found a woman, married and built a house in a perfect spot on their land. It could bring in all kinds of other fine stories and we might be done with the exact, same 5 shows they did...with that small change in them to try and make it look like a new episode.
I've been watching a lot of these episodes and it's getting to the point where I can just skip over any romantic scenes, because it doesn't seem like they'll matter in the long run. All the love interests either die or leave.
Yes, she seemed vacuous, shallow, and volatile. Maybe it's purposeful, that we sigh with relief that lil Joe escapes a marriage with 46:03 the crazy crosseyes.
Funny how easy it is to say [ I love you in a script ], ha. Among the many characteristics in the Bonanza sitcom is the integrity, honor, and dignity espoused and Ben Cartwright guides his family accordingly. And all his sons obey him with a small resistance at first and then a total agreement because they know better.
Nothing worse than a sheriff who arrests people and has them sent away to prison all his life for committing crimes but feels like he's privileged to go out and do the same things just because his spoiled daughter doesn't have enough dresses.
Does anyone notice that women from different episodes wear some of the same outfit as another episode. The Last Trophy, Lady Beatrice is wearing the same dress Connie McKee has on when she is leaving.
In episodes like this, you learn that just when you think you know someone, it turns out that you truly didn't, especially when you allow denial and naivete to cloud your better judgment.
Consider this girl getting away alive lucky after falling for a Cartwright lol all three boys mother died. And everyone of the boy's girls ether die, some close dies, or they fall in love with someone else. I think we can all see where the writers opinion on honest men and beautiful women lie... not saying it's right but a tend in stories.
Why always the Cartwright must do themselves justice instead of calling on the sheriff!! What happens they get involved in killing ((self defence)) the father or the brother of their protégé
Here it is not only Joe who falls in love quickly. Hoss in season 1 falls in love and wanted to marry the girl and he also dies but you can't see it, what happens is that Joe always sounds... because they put more girls to fall in love with... him producer would see it that way because he is the youngest
"All I wanted for you is happiness." But what the price? "I did what I had to do." A revered "Indian scout", a successful Colorado "Sheriff," a father, retired with a small ranch. Franchot Tone plays the lead in this story of love, robbery, murder, neighbors helping themselves of other neighbors' money and possessions. Little Joe's childhood sweetheart, Connie McKee returns to Nevada from a "back East" finishing school. They pick up their flirting courtship where they left off. Miners are the first to get picked off, Two die, but not without giving a clue as to one of the perpetrators....red hair! As public service citizens, the Cartwrights join in on the posse to find the culprits. Geography doesn't have anything to do with happiness. Little Joe tries to find out if Connie would want to stay in the West, have a rural future....with him. The best line in the episode is when Denver says to Ben: "When a man points a gun [at you], you got to draw your own, you got to pull the trigger." Hooray for the 2nd amendment!!! Anti-climactically, Connie finally says to Little Joe: "I love ;you! [But] I have to get away. I have to have time to think. Time to forget." Best comic line is from Hoss when he picks up and eats the absolutely last piece of welcoming-home-Connie cake: "It's too good a cake to let it go to waste." Natalie Trundy, as Connie, played the flirty part well. Franchot Tone as her short-sighted, financially desperate father did a good turn. Michael Landon played his character as the youngest, girl-chasing son, did well too.
In the Little House on the Prairie TV Show (1974-1983) it was proven that TV Characters could mature and grow, and new characters could have extended roles, all of that done very successfully. Bonanza was wrong to take the easy way out, and I'm saying that as someone who loves the show, its actors, directors and stage scenes.
I thought he said " Nervous as a wrestler in church". I'm thinking that back then, wrestling was considered a sin or at least a trivial thing. Just the kind of thing churches would preach against. But that's just an idea.🤷
This is a great show, I love all the episodes. However, whomever the girl in this episode is needs acting lessons. She cannot act at all and is very annoying.
This episode is about Denver Mckee and his daughter Connie McKee. Little Jo is a good actor. Outstanding performance. Western Classics.
Nice to see Adam out of black. Course he's handsome in any color. 😍
Great episode, love the banter between the boys, priceless.
Joe is fast with that gun on the draw. But even better when he goes down,
rolls and shoots. Signature move
Jess Harper on Laramie was even faster and hit the ground, rolled and shot from the ground. I think Jess did it before Joe, but Joe is very good too. I had forgotten until I started watching the reruns on utube that Joe fought almost exactly like Jess.
I love Denver's voice, its so powerful
tout d'suite: fantastic actors have stunning voices and carry a scene, even sometimes by body language
Me to
Heavy smoker. Its the recipe for that deep raspy voice. I've always been jealous cuz I'm a non smoker. Damn allergies!!
Good to see Bob Barker before the price is right. ❤
I use to go see the show when it was being filmed. Every taping someone always asked if he was going to give Adam Sandler a rematch. 😂
As soon as Joe proposed marriage, her fate was sealed.
lol
I suppose she couldn't help herself. She had to go running over there to see Little Joe. Well at least he's worth it. 😍
Typical Little Joe..falling in love so fast🙂 and Ben always leading his sons into danger😉
es que la serie solo dura 45 minutos tiene que ser todo rápido sino no vemos emoción , trama y amor todo en uno
I love how Adam always figures-out that Joe's girl is mixed-up in some kind of trouble.
Adam's the brains of the family, and is often the wisest and most intuitive. He's the best at figuring people out and he's the oldest brother through and through, looking out for the others.
@@MrEvan312 Pretty sure both Ben and Adam were the brains
@@BlackangelKatakuri I'd say Adams is the brain but Ben is the wisdom. Hard to explain but I'd say they're separate things.
@@MrEvan312Wisdom is the prime thing.
Thanks for the Series and this Episode is really Classic Western . From NY
Glad you enjoy it. There are plenty more episode coming and already on our channel! 🤠✌📺🍿

Ben had 3 wives and 3 boys. Guess Ben was the real gun-slinger ⚔️😂😂😂😂😂
I always wished that the creators would have let at least one of the boys get married, without something messing it up.

@@f.u.p.m_rah9669 Haha!
The producers didn't want to mess with a successful formula: four attractive SINGLE cowboys.
The CartWrights are the only moral men in Nevada...LOL.
I agree more like the owe country regardless if they wear a badge

I thoroughly agree. Pernell Roberts would've also agreed.
I've been watching a lot of these episodes and it's getting to the point where I can just skip over any romantic scenes, because it doesn't seem like they'll matter in the long run.
All the love interests either die or leave.
At 15:42 Connie turns into an emotional freak, accusing Ben of basically being a blood-thirsty bounty hunter.
Yes, she seemed vacuous, shallow, and volatile. Maybe it's purposeful, that we sigh with relief that lil Joe escapes a marriage with 46:03 the crazy crosseyes.
Who would have thunk it, that another person, would b leaving town, after a tragedy"
Thanks for this posting
Thanks for watching it! 🤠✌🍿📺
Excellent video, from Paraguay
Thanks for uploading

"This ain't other posses. This is Ben Cartwright..."
16:10 approximately , "I had forgotten about the violence in the West."
Good👍 👌😍🥰😘
Once again the Cartwright boys never gets to keep the gal
Nope
Good episode!

They always reused the costumes. 😊
Nice!
When u kiss hoss! Yr engaged! To be married!! Real fast like those country boys!!!!!

Or they leave completely
19:19 I’ve always wondered if I’d be able to jump up in the saddle without stirrups like that. Never had a chance to try though
I feel so bad for Ben being forced to shoot his own friend😢
Why always the Cartwright must do themselves justice instead of calling on the sheriff!! What happens they get involved in killing ((self defence)) the father or the brother of their protégé
Little Jo has always the same shirt!! At least the same colour
No wonder these boys never got married considering how they barely ever change clothes.
"have you ever taken a woman anywhere and been on time?" 9:40
This is true, some things never change 🤣🤣🤣
As a woman I can tell you that is bullshit

He was on to promote "Truth or Consequences"! Good eye! 😂

You did a lot of writing. You got my ''like''.
The love subplots with little Joe are getting annoying
te molestaran a ti, A MI NO, ME ENCANTAN TODO LO QUE SEA DE JOE
They said Connie is the prettiest girl in the valley. I think she looked a lot like Jethrine Bodine.
Cartwright boys will never get married in this series. The director/producer will make sure that doesn’t happen. Otherwise the series will end!

Too bad. I think that Ben would have been an awesome grandpa.
at 3:17 he says according to the captions "Nervous as a wrestling church". Can anyone make out what he actually said?
