Came out awesome, and Mack’s labels are amazing and bring out the pack more. I had fun weathering mines
I got lucky with this video popping up right before I was going to paint my pack! Wax and grease remover is what they use in automotive right before you paint. Not sure if it is any better than just alcohol, but I'm going to do alcohol then the wax and grease remover right before I spray it. Plastic adhesion promoter would also be useful to help with binding the paint to the part.
Ever tried using lighter fluid to lift off stickers? (Not lit obviously) Much quicker - will lift off the whole sticker with patience and allow the sticker to be reused (not that you wanted to do that) but will not rip and leave paper or glue after (chemical in the fluid breaks down the sticky stuff) great vid!
Guys, hair dryer and WD40. Those are the absolute best tools when it comes to sticker removal. Always heat the glue up and you’ll find it’s so much easier to get the stickers off.
Why not use rub n buff for the silver rather than painting?
a little heat would help get the stickers off.. and a little goo gone for the residue if any after heat.
