Hey man! Remember me? Im that kid that you met this fall while you were fishing on your wife’s birthday! I just wanted to thank you again for the jigs you gave me and you have really helped to guide me through my fishing journey. Have fun the spring and hope to see you out there again sometime! Tight lines! 🎣
My go to rod is the odm 11 foot Genesis for the surf and the 9 foot Genesis for the back Bay. Odm makes excellent rods I highly recommend there rods that being said congratulations on your mewborn. Tight lines brother
Cool off season content. Check out Jigging World rods. The shadow or nexus surf model are the best rods for the $$, call em the blue collar special lol SOLID rods.
Hey there, .. I've seen a lot of quality budget rods and they're great for those starting out or if you're just on a budget… because there's no limit to what you can spend..( I know that movie all too well..) lol 🤣 I've got a pair of St. Croix Avid Surf 12’ fast action med heavy... and are paired with/ Abu Garcia Amassdeur 10000c and 9000c, ... because I'm strictly conventional.….both are vintage reels that work perfectly and look as beautiful as the day they were made... I'm quite content with said setups... All the rods that you have mentioned are great for anyone, .… whether you’re a pro or not.. Great video..! 👍😎👌
Super content! What would you use an 11 or 12 foot rod to do? My bet would be big metal lips and other types of plugs. That length of rod and the weight of a heavy plug, you can throw a long way.
i have okuma solaris i would rate is rank S. and after solaris i bought an Okuma Surf HD version and i would rate it S+ tier. It's on par with St croix Seage when it comes to long casting distance.
The bg looks very similar to a 6000 penn battle. And so I'm looking at either 4500 or 4000. Want the 4500 but am having a hard time to commit. Want it to go on my penn prevail 10ft but am hesitant.
🤣🤣🤣bro u do not need to spend more then 3-400 on a rod. Entry level or not I’ve had 600$ g loomis and 200$ tsunamis that r equally as effective. There’s a line where the quality could only improve so much for the price.
Well Paulie I’ve always enjoyed your videos but now have to go through all these short clips to find actual videos like throwing back shorts till you find a keeper. Time for me to unsubscribe and be moving on the Chanel is changing Good luck and tight lines

Jigging world make some nice surf rods that aren’t too expensive. I think they’re making the nexus surf rod. I might actually go and get that.

Bob the Garbageman never paid more than thirty bucks for a rod and he’s caught more big cow stripers than anyone.

@@AlexJones-vy1ri ignoring what i said and the difference between a $300 rod and $600 is miniscule but $80 and $300 is a huge difference.
meh...
