Nice comparison. The NG with its CFM 56s has more soul if you ask me. Still a superb aircraft.

I just got back from holiday travel, flew out on a 737 NG and back on a Max 8, and I can say with confidence that the Max 8 is significantly quieter than the NG. Its amazing how quiet it is, didn't even need noise canceling headphones to listen to music.
