After those two steps, you SHOULD get the charm ONLY IF YOU HAVEN'T STARTED MOTHER CLAUDIA. If you did already, you'll have to rewind. If you get the charm, all that's left is to beat the final boss by shooting his mouth (not jewel weakpoint) when he's charging his laser. Kill the true final boss, then win.

You know, it took me a whole year to attempt getting the true ending, for the first half of a year I didn't even know there was a true ending until I came across it on UA-cam. So now here I am finally attempting the true ending. I was confused on how to do so I stopped by the only helpful video. This one. But my down side is it wasn't working for me. The smart thing to do is make the enemies worth some affinity since we will be slaughtering them by the thousands. Normal enemy kills .1% affinity Enemy Player Kills. 2% affinity Boss enemy kills .3% affinity Bounty Hunt kills .4% affinity Revives .5% affinity

Requirements to get the charm from your Arfa - sys (you must complete all this requirements before the mission called mother Claudia): - have affinity level 4 and at the 75% for: your Arfa - sys, Kureha, itsuki, Zeliska, Bazalt joe and also Sinon - have affinity level at least 2 for: Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Lisbeth, Silica, Yuuki, Argo, Fukaziroh, LLENN, Pitoui, M, Philia, Strea, Premiere, Rain -complete the 3 side quest, that Agil, Lisbeth and Asuna give you (you get this quest, at the beginning of your adventure) - complete all the conversation with all the characters ( for do this I think you must complete the story with one of the two bad ending and then do the rewind, but i'm not sure) -complete the kirito mode and with kirito go to the lobby and complete the conversation with sinon (you must have the affinity level for Sinon at 4) When you did all this things, return to your room and your Arfasys give you the charm
I got the Charm when i fast traveled home after I got the last key card in the Forest Edge dungeon.... so you don't have to do Kirito mode to get the charm
I came back on after a long time but when I came back it gave me the achievement “proof of friendship” when I haven’t even got all of them to rank 4 75%
Tuglow when I got the affinity i went to speak to them and few of them wanted to go on dates and i went, when the date is over they disappear and want to speak again (green message thing) and it happens over and over again
Hey, I've done everything and beyond and my AF won't give me the charm at all. To make sure nothing would go wrong I made the new cast 4-100% did the events and did the things with the old cast up until level 2. Did the three quests about the shops. And completed kirito mode but nothing. Is there something I'm missing. Do I need to grind the affinity of my DLC characters? Seriously I'm lost. I know I completed kirito mode sense I got sword gun arts and such. PLEASE I NEED HELP I'VE PUT 440 Hours into doing this and I don't want it to go to waste.
What he dont mention is during the first phase of the boss fight you must get him to 1 bar hp and when the gm charge up his wifu killing ball you must hit his weak point and down him so wifu dont die That's the requirement for true ending.
I did the Kirito mode way after finishing the story for the first time because Kirito mode was a new update to the game, so there is no way you can get the good ending sense you already finished Kirito mode because Kirito mode isn’t resettable. The only way to get the good ending if that happens is resetting the whole story. 💀💧
You can get more affinity by pressing the triangle button when you see you teammates name's pop up in the top left corner and there is hidden collectibles that our memories of the characters those will boost the Affinity that you get what each of those characters so long as you have their memorie collectible items the character memory Collectibles are hidden in the open world maps as well as hidden in each of the dungeons in hard-to-reach locations and hidden areas 👍😁
I ended up grinding up mostly everyone's affinity to rank 4 but not 4.75 and then I was already on the point where if I continue any further I wouldn't have access to Kirito mode. So I didn't have access to Kureha, Itsuki and others butif you have access to DLC content you could literally go to main menu start one of your DLCs and then you'll have access to the characters you might not have access to in main story so you can finish grinding them up

If you still can't get it try to do this: There is a point in the game where you can ask your arfasys to go on a date with you. The green bubble thingy will appear on the map when you're at home. Carry that out and you should receive it. Atleast that's how it worked for me.
I'm soooooooooo annoyed! This is my third go, I beat Kirito mode in the first go, in the second go I tried saving Zeleska and I got the charm... But now even with the charm... Bad ending.... What the heck?!
The affinity grind is fast in the glocken ruins go to the room with the cannon and have the cannon blast your party into the corner behind the box have your party on standby and just keep reviving
And the first dark sphere that kills one of the 2 cannot be stopped . Literally once you get his HP to a certain point it stops going down until it’s finished and the cut scene activates . I’ve done this all three ways . The only thing that makes a difference is the conversation you have with your Android before you start the quest
Once you get the bad ending it’ll ask you if you want to go back In time to save your friend just do that and it’ll take you back a lil bfor everything happens
Yeah, did all that, got the charm, quest is called fatal bullet and still doesn't give me true ending. SEEMINGLY the thing giving me issues is I can't stop the black hole attack. I lowered the difficulty, basically have the strongest dual weilding autofiring weapons I can find, and unloading on him for the entire duration of his charge up and it still doesn't stop him. I literally get him to the launching of the attack within less then 2 mins, so Im doing incredible amounts of damage to him so I have NO idea why i am not stopping this attack. This game is SO FRUSTRATING.

Tuglow well in haste I deleted my 1st profile cause I skipped through the part where I could rewind back before mother Claudia. I got extreme mode still so that's a plus...and I got my epics n legendaries I put in storage
SO i did a rewind to try and get the true ending. raised the affinity of the important characters, but apparently that wasn't enough. so the next time i picked continue instead of rewind planning to tackle the other dlcs only to find myself forced into having to start a new game. Zzz

Did you buy some tier 7 weapons before heading to NG+ or Extreme difficulty? Since its a you need tier 7's to do good on extreme since you will have a hard time with any of the lower tier weapons (enhancing them is another option. But takes lots of materials)

Normal enemies give .1 to .3% affinity and bosses give .5% and make the max affinity RANK 5 (NOT 4 100/100).
This was a huge oversight on the developer's part and it makes the game harder to want to platinum
Go somewhere and let your people die and just keep reviving them til you get them to where you need them..... You get like 4% to 5% every revive

I can't get it no matter how hard I try I can't stop the dark sphere attack
use shotgun or use Stroke handgun and just aim the head when u saw charging the attack of black sphere
Grind online that's how I did
Don't aim for the head aim for the chest with a machine gun or a sniper rifle but if you want to use a handgun like me you going to need a skill

I know this is not related. But for this game I know the instructions to replay DLC was to go to the bed and make the selection. However I do not see the selection to be there. Can you make a video on how to replay/restart DLC? Thank you

Do you need to have the affinity set for all the necessary characters before the arfasys gives you the charm? I just cleared Kirito Mode but I made the mistake of advancing past mother Claudia BEFORE grinding the affinity.
So should I just beat the game then use the rewind function?
You have to get 1 bad ending first before you get the true ending
Tuglow well in haste I deleted my 1st profile cause I skipped through the part where I could rewind back before mother Claudia. I got extreme mode still so that's a plus...and I got my epics n legendaries I put in storage

SO i did a rewind to try and get the true ending. raised the affinity of the important characters, but apparently that wasn't enough. so the next time i picked continue instead of rewind planning to tackle the other dlcs only to find myself forced into having to start a new game. Zzz
I fucked up big time, did mother Claudia and so on before doing Kirito mode because I reach the part when the game tells you to play Kirito mode and didn’t lvl up affinity on Zeliska and Itsuki just Kureha (because she’s the main friend) Dx

Lv4 Arfs Zeliska ItsukiI Bazalt Joe etc etc and got everyone else to lv2. I finished the Kureha mission then did Kirito mode as soon as it showed up. But my Arfs hasn’t given me the amulet. When am I supposed to get it

No, the GGO alternative characters do not matter when trying to go for the true ending

Tuglow i just cleared kirito mode and i didnt get the charm.? i got all the characters from ggo to 4.75 and the others to 2. idk what i did wrong?
Did you buy some tier 7 weapons before heading to NG+ or Extreme difficulty?
Since its a you need tier 7's to do good on extreme since you will have a hard time with any of the lower tier weapons
(enhancing them is another option. But takes lots of materials)
