Dude so glad you liked Astral Chain, I'm probably a third of the way into it right now and loving it. Such interesting combat controlling the legion as well as your own character at the same time and using positioning to your advantage. The story has me hooked too.
I don't say this lightly, year after year there are tons and tons of year in review videos/pieces and I really love the way you put this together. It feels less of DEFINITIVE LIST 2019 and more like a conversation piece talking about stuff you played. On paper that sounds like it could be boring, but I was entertained throughout. I really like that you took time to discuss stuff you didn't like. Great stuff, Ales!
I spent a greater part of 2019 playing catch-up. Not just with my backlog itself, but with gaming as a whole.
Finally having a PC viable enough for gaming has greatly altered the range of games I am able to enjoy. Excited to see what I'll be able to try for 2020.
Sonic always had kinda meh... games at least when it comes to gameplay. The reason why this franchise is so beloved is because of the characters. If the story is written well. I think Sonic fans will have a blast with it. But if you want good gameplay, I also would recommend either Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, although it is just a Wii U port, and Crash Team Racing. Nitro-Fueled.
Of course Devil May Cry 5 is one of the games I played some and didn't continue... you better yell at me to finish it so I don't forget, ha! I think I'm almost finished with Blasphemous and dang does the lore really grab you. I think I mostly love the game. Team Sonic Racing feels too slow. FYI though, the game only really works with friends because the game centers entirely around the team mechanic. I was excited for Astral Chain but I simply didn't have enough time to play it. Big surprise.
If there's one game you need to play though, it's Outer Wilds. One of the few flawless masterpieces I've ever played.
Honestly, layers of fear 2 and pokemon we're games I was not expecting in this video.
I've got my eye on Blasphemous for a long while, and I can't wait to play it. And honestly, Team Sonic Racing didn't look like my cup of tea compared to the Sega All-Stars Racing.
I really want to play Blasphemous. I've had my eye on it a while based on its look alone, and actualy quite liked what I played of the Switch demo this past weekend. It was a shame to hear people's disappointment with Team Sonic Racing, especially coming after the last Sonic racing title, which is still fantastic. Do at least want to check out the former, regardless of the reception it got.

I wish I could understand why Team Sonic Racing is so bland when the same developer made one of the greatest kart racers of all time: Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed.
I heard it was WAAAAAAY better when you are actually playing it in multiplayer with two friends. Team strats aren't very fun when you only have AIs to work with.
They also had some of the best customer support for the PC version until they decided to censor the game and add that youtube racer OC for charity.
