Fix greatest staller ever. Best wrestler that doesn’t wrestle.

GR8 wrestler........ Truth is Fix went backwards with his wrestling at OSU under Smith...... used to be a scoring machine..... now its only counter be defensive and move backwards all 3

Yeah it's sad. I remember watching his Fargo/Ironman matches in high school and the guy was a scoring threat at any position. Now he's muted offensively.

tbf he still was a scoring machine...if his opponent wasn't as good as him. In the close matchups or just against a good opponent he'd shut it down. One of the more frustrating wrestlers I've seen.

@@MrGuanYu1 what’s crazy is he’s a senior world silver medalist but it’s impossible to imagine him making a senior team today. What a paradox.

@@Garrett1240 That's what happens when you wrestle to not lose. It bites you in the long run and you don't show half your ability either.

I am a Hawkeye and I don't begrudge Gilman for moving to PA. I will always like the classy Thomas, and I will always enjoy watching him wrestle. He trains hard as nails, nobody can buy that kind of stamina. He wrestles every second of his matches, and keeps it classy.

US is great at this weight. Tough they all have to wrestle each other. Too bad we couldn't send all three.

Fix still has time. Needs to transfer to NLWC though and get better. Yeah Gilman is there, but it’d still be worth it

I would love to see him in mma. His style would work better for it. I feel he’s just a tad slow against these world level guys like Gilman. Not that he can’t beat them I just feel he’s a power type build that would work well with mma ground and pound or bjj

If Fix were a 4x NCAA champion we wouldn't be telling him to retire. He'd be winning on an elite level. I love Fix. I've followed his career. He is one of the greatest but , he has never been able to win against the best of the best. He has a lot to offer probably as a coach but probably not on the mat anymore. Always a bridesmaid never a bride. But no disrespect is meant by any of us. He just doesn't have what it takes at this level to be the best.

He’s beaten top level guys in freestyle. He’s beaten Gilman before just beat suriano beat desanto multiple times. He realistically beat suriano in the finals but refs gifted that win to suriano with head gear pull and stalling with double boots in
