Some of these are nice, but not really useful. Every added functionality makes the app a little bit slower and more sluggish though. I already see no performance difference beween the old and the new Teams app, because the new app is already totally overloaded. The focus must stay on the core functionality, i.e. videocalling and chatting.
Hi @hogne I noticed that my company did not authorize Designer for use in our tenant so I don't have it either. If it is not a rolling out issue as Scott suggested, it may be an issue where your IT is not allowing it.
Hi Scott, as you are an MS Teams Guru :) Are you aware of any efficient way to add users to multiple teams and channels (some private). We struggle with this a lot when someone new joins the company that require access to multiple projects and channels.
yeah i don't see some of those features. It would be great if you post the Teams version and client version in the description so people can compare and see if they aren't on the same version
Whilst this is a very clever addition to Teams, what I find disturbing with AI, is that it is taking away the need for people to learn and understand other languages. The so called images, are all AI driven and not an actual photo taken by an actual human. We are heading towards a world that is fake, lake of voice and lack of human interaction. Wuite scary really
I’m surprised myself at how quickly we are seeing these advancements in AI technology- a decade ago we wouldn’t believe this would be possible in such a short time frame but here we are - I think broadly AI will redefine how we will all work in the future too

Notification controls brought back to conversations on a channel! That’s great. I’ve been holding my breath for that one for I think 2 years.
Just a few more features to add from the old Teams now 😄
My sister asked about just that topic last week and I was so happy to show her how to turn them off since they were driving her crazy.
Thx for the new features overview!
No problem, glad it helped 😄🙌

Good video, nicely explained. Thanks for the chaptering as well.
My pleasure! 😄
Still waiting to be able to schedule a message in a ‘teams’ channel. All this other stuff is fluff
can we get the feature to turn off autoemojis so that I can legit type
Still can't bookmark or save messages. Why they removed that feature is beyond me? 🤷♂️
Great spot - I did use that feature, so hopefully we see it again soon
How about it stops crashing when I share my screen?
I don't have the Designer option in a chat.
That’s odd - it is rolling out, so maybe just a timing thing 😄

Powershell script?

To me these changes are not going to make teams any better.. still looking useless 😢
