It's only now after a bad run of form and mediocre performances where the team feels clueless tactically that more and more fans are starting to suggest he should leave, but the majority still backs him.
I don't think it's just about simply giving a manager time. I also think Arteta, as a person, displays both conviction, calmness, and is very articulate about his ideas and where he wanted to take the club. That helps as well. And the board probably also realized the squad wasn't a "only 1-2 signings away from competing". They needed a rebuild.... they wanted a rebuild... and so they went through with a rebuild (with Arteta).
As an Arsenal fan, I am flattered. But in the event we lose Partey or Xhaka or god forbid, both to injury, we will me in major trouble. Arteta needs to get reinforcements for a proper top-team squad depth.
Yes yesterday result was eyeopener for considering them as a real threat to our title defense! No doubt Arteta's worthy of calling him Pep's genius apprentice!
Edu deserves a shout. He's been such a steady leader and has been shrewd in the moves he's made and how he's collaborated with both Arteta and senior management.
I was skeptical of him because it seemed like he had no experience for his position. But he’s been brilliant, and as important as Arteta. Between Edu and Arteta, Arsenal has a lot intelligence at the top
Something that was not mentioned in the video is, that Arteta's first year had a clear focus on Defence. They often Parked the bus against big teams, but that was only to train this for the future. When defence was already "built", he started to focus on midfield and attack movements (positional play + channel movements). And lastly, Control + Pressing. Now they are able to dictate the tempo against most teams, press only when needed. Defence is the best in the league, build up play is fantastic.
I think you can even see the progress within this season. Initial few games were about pressing the teams like crazy. Slowly now they control the game with focused pressing when they lose possession. It's impressive.

Emery didn't have a chance to sign many players who he deemed suited to his tactics and wasn't able to get rid of the ones who can't fit into his system

it’s a big if, but if Arsenal win the league, I’d say it’s more impressive than what Peps done so far in England, he took the best team and won less than expected, Mikel would’ve taken a team outside of CL places to the title and that’s deserving of all the credit
The 2 most important games for Arteta came against Chelsea: the FA Cup final and Boxing day 2020 when he was about to be sacked. It's been onwards and upwards from there
It's like the first 3 years with a new team in Football Manager. You have a system based around the players you're given; the next year you start to bring in your tactic and players to fit it; then the third year you double down on it all and have had enough time to get players in that you want
Also, the set piece coach he brought into the club is another key to this prime day. Unlike the Wenger era, Arsenal’s set piece is really effective nowadays!
In a world where manager don’t last more than 2 seasons very often, Arteta has proven himself a good investment while being a manager with not a lot of experience in the number one position. I hope the trend continues and managers like Lampard, Gerrard and Kompany get the same treatment.
I don't think it is that simple. Arsene Wenger singled out Mikel Arteta as a shrewd tactical mind and that he has the skills to become a good coach back when Arteta was an Arsenal player. I don't think Wenger has said that of any other player that has played for him. It tells you that Arteta brings something unique to the table.
@@maheshprabhu Pep stated the same. He told reporters that Arteta already knew it all. Santi Cazorla in recent interview told about the time when they both were injured playing for Arsenal, that Arteta used to pause watching games and ask why something happened that way.
Arteta has changed everything at Arsenal. Mentality, energy, passion.. Edu's recruitment has been influenced by Arteta's clear message. Everything is functioning as it should be. This is just the start and I love this football club again!
I agree that Mikel's 90% of the reason why things are so good, but there's also an "atmosphere" factor. I personally believe that Amazon documentary made all the difference in bringing the fans closer to the team
Nope, arteta sacking bad influence, creating good atmosphere and mentality in the dressing room did it for me. You can feel the drive from the player, the togetherness when they score a goal or when the pressure is high. Amazon series just a cherry on top. Spurs had a series before arsenal, not making a difference 😂
It's also amazing to remember this is literally his first managerial role. Granted, he's through his 3rd year now, but it nevertheless speaks volumes about his resilience and adaptability. To just take over Arsenal and lead them to a top spot finish two seasons after is no small feat for a newcomer.
That game on Boxing Day against Chelsea where he started Saka and Smith-Rowe which Arsenal won probably saved his job at Arsenal. The turn around has been amazing. It's his first management job as well which is very impressive.
You missed one name who helps this strategy work and that is Thomas Partey! Without him Arsenal lost last 4 games of last season this season when he plays it simple they win or worse draw an away game. The guy is so good, that game against Manchester City you talked about is when I become a believer boy was he good in that game. I first thought he was overrated then he got fit and got a run games under him, then I realised why Arteta wanted him so much, he is Rodri and Fernandinho put together can defend and can also make that incisive pass going forward something even the great Kante, Makalele or even Essien(okay that is not true as he could do it all too but you get the picture how good Partey is) One of Arsenal’s greatest challenge is keeping him fit especially after the World Cup.
Arteta is not just a good tactical manager but also a good coach, able to improve players who are ready to learn and develop. You can see that in most of the squad - how individuals have improved season over season.
Anyone who watched arsenal end of last season knows why they fell apart. Injuries!!!!! We lost Tierney,Partey and several other key players at the back end of the season.
yes thats right but a team that had screamed winning culture could probably have tipped those games in their favor anyway. like mancity or liverpool. but there is only one way build that mentality and culture: win every game over time. that may be the case this season.
In other words: squad depth. We are still thin right now in that respect. Imagine losing Partey and Jesus to WC injuries and having 2 months of Lokonga and Nketiah in our 1st 11 (they're lovely lads BTW, just barely scratching it at EL level). *shudders*
So annoyed they didn’t explicitly mention that. They made it seem like we weren’t ready when in actual fact if not for injuries top 4 was basically a lock
I used to hate Arsenal, could not stand that. Cause I used to support chelsea then, spurs, but I like Arteta and his style, you know he really smart and hard working. I hope he wins the PL this year or a major trophy.
i just really love the fact that all the big decisions that arteta has made that had fans and pundits in turmoil at the time, like bringing in ramsdale and white for big big money, sending saliba out for another year on loan when many thought he was ready and selling auba, have all proved to be the right call in hindsight. the man knows what he’s doing
This is a great example of how owners should know when to listen to the fans and when to not. I am so thankful that the Kroenkes backed Arteta even though some impatient fans wanted him out. Arsenal are BACK!!!!
Very excited in the way The Gunners are progressing this season but the second XI performing at par to the first when heavily rotated is a concern for me
Reminds me a lot of liverpool under klopp, only difference is everyone knew klopp was a top tier manager when he came in. They’ve built the club very well
Arteta was also patient. He tried implementing his tactics early on when he joined and quickly realized his team wasn’t ready to execute it due in partly to the leaky defense. So he set them up defensively in a back 3 and saw them through a lot of games until he had players who could execute what he wanted. Other managers try to implement their style right away and when that doesn’t work, the players lose faith in them and they get sacked.
Sports in the United States follow the “process” model and I hope that Mikel’s success in Arsenal promotes football to adopt this model. The process model is simple, have a manager, a vision, and incremental objectives that need to be achieved over a certain period of time in order to build a squad strong enough to compete at an extremely high level for AT LEAST 5 years once the process has been completed. Arsenal’s ownership being American helped immensely with how they handled Arteta as the manager, the goal was not to succeed immediately but over time. More teams need to follow this model, rather than the run and gun “if it works it works if it doesn’t we sack” model that banks on the success the manager rather than success of the squad. For example, when Arteta leaves he’ll leave Arsenal in better shape then when he came due to the aspect of “strong foundation building” that comes along with going through a process, but with the current “sack at first sign of danger” culture then a new manager can actually leave the squad in a worser state (for example Benitez at Everton) because it focuses on maintaining and improving the current structure no matter how flawed it may be, rather than actually bulldozing the entire thing, starting from scratch and building it up to be more stable.
From the end of December 2020 to October 2022 (a sample size of ~ 75 PL games) Arsenal have picked up 147 points, only second to Man City. This strong start to this season isnt them in good form, this has been brewing for a while and really shouldnt come as a surprise. Arsenal are just really good
I think part of his appointment was due to the actions of other clubs. Clubs wanted their own Pep or Zidane. Chelsea got Lampard (tho they didn't have much of a choice do to the transfer ban) and United got Ole. There wasn't too much shock when Arteta got the job. Then an immediate cup win got him time and influence when he needed it
Jamie O’Hara claimed Tottenham had now eclipsed Arsenal five months ago. Mikel transformation of Xhaka saved his Arsenal playing career and as for the club, it’s is in a much better position with a talented and more youthful squad. The project was not obvious to the fans as he dismantled an ageing squad and had a transfer window of non activity. The culture and mood of the fans has now changed and there is real belief that Mikel is creating something special at Arsenal. The gamble he took on Saliba keeping him out on loan, needed balls and vision.
I was very impressed with the Board to give Arteta time to develop the team. I certainly didn’t expect Gunners to be table leaders again. For me, this seem like a dream.
Yeah, but how will AFTV get views now? Robbie built an empire by letting idiots yell "HE'S THE GREATEST!" or "SACK HIM!" after every result. In fact, what I like about the Arteta story is that it's the perfect antithesis of what social media has done to football and fandom. Team wins that week: "WE R DA BEST!!!1!!". Team loses that week: "SACK THE MANAGER, FIRE ALL THE PLAYERS, GET NEW OWNERS, BURN THE STADIUM DOWN!" We need to inculcate long-term thinking once again. Fans (and even players, sadly) are too short-sighted to even think in terms of a full season anymore. Expecting them to have the patience to wait the multiple seasons it takes for a manager to implement a system, iron out the kinks, teach it to the players, refine it, get the right players that suit it, refine it some more, and execute it successfully... it's impossible. Maybe that's why it worked at Arsenal. The players were already sick of the Arsenal fandom's wild vacillations and the core of the squad are young players who aren't close-minded egomaniacs looking to maximize on their prime or the trophy-hunt in the last few years of their career. They know they have time to grow, so they're willing to wait for the system to work out for them.
I'm a Belgian fan and i'm since it the 90's, We had a very bad squad with overpaid players, old players and midtable players when we finished 8th,this were painful times and much fans wanted to sack him,but the board trusted the process and this is the outcome
To me, Thomas Partey was the link the team was missing. He's the one allowing Xhaka to roam more and has been great both on and off the ball. He's basicly a new Vieira.
I think with Mikel, you could see very early what the style of play in an ideal Mikel Arteta team would look like, and though some of the wins were scrappy, the big scalps we got on the way to the FA Cup played a big part in creating that buy-in from the club. There was shaky spell where I thought the club might not stick with him but since boxing day 2020 when we beat Chelsea I think we've continuously improved, and though there have been some disappointing cup exits and a few spells in the league where we haven't played well, overall we've grown. We're better in all phases of play - in possession, out of possession, attacking set pieces, defensive set pieces, and transition moments as well and we are deservedly top. Long may that continue.
Wenger might have noticed Arteta's tactical nous which was why he brought Arteta in. When Arteta came to Arsenal, his prime had just pass him. But Arsene wanted Arteta to love the club as a player in hopes that one day, Mikel would return and continue to build on the foundations he had lay at the Emirates. And returned he did. This reminds me of the message Howard Stark left for Tony. "I built this for you, and some day you'll realize that it represents a whole lot more than just people's inventions. It represents my life's work. This is the key to the future. I'm limited by the technology of my time, but one day you'll figure this out. And when you do, you will change the world." If Arteta would stay for at least half of how long Wenger did, I hope we can win at least one UCL title. COYG!!
Any job, if you work under a MASTER, you will learn a lot; Not only tactics but habits, psychology and attitude of a winner. That's what he picked up and brought over to Arsenal. Now, it is just about adding depth to this squad.
hindsight 20 20, there were a lot of artetaout last season when we magnificently failed to get top 4 (and finish the season above spurs). it was clear from last season that we were on track. our goal was to get back to europe, and champions league is more like a bonus. this season, we have been more consistent and the dissapointment from last season is our fuel. we are more matured and cohesive and really can grind out result when needed. all gooners will say that we have a slim chance to win epl this season, but they journey will be amazing. josh just need to open the warchest this jan to add more depth to our squad so we can compete with city.
Arteta was able to convince Kroenke to trust the process, even renewing his contract when most people wanted him sacked .. I believed in him from day 1, and thank God we stuck with him ❤❤❤
Blows my mind how even in such a thorough video, people throw around the statement that Arteta had “two 8th place finishes in his first two seasons “. The man took over in December of that first season, picking upa team sitting in the bottom half.
While we praise Arteta as the key for building such a great team, let’s not forget Arsenal also have a great management team lead by Edu and Kroenke. I used to hate Kroenke family, but I have to eat my words now. Arsenal really do have a great team now, both on the pitch and off the pitch.
A lot of credit has to go to the Sporting director and the owners for always backing the manager and sticking with his principles, even when it seemed too difficult to do so, you don’t get a lot of that in football nowadays. Credit to them for being resolute in seeing a project through.
I might have my problem with the Kroenkes, but I'll always be grateful that they've given Arteta the time that was clearly needed to improve the squad. Some fans were viscerally Arteta Out when things were going poorly, but they stuck with him and now were top of the league.
I agree with what you said, as an Arsenal fan i doubted Arteta and I am happy to see the results of the process, but still, lets wait for the end of the seasons that is what matters! ARSENAL!
I think an underrated aspect of Arsenal's improvement under Arteta has to do with the age profile of the squad -- since moving on Band-Aid solutions like Sokratis and David Luiz, and parting with Özil, Aubameyang, Mustafi, Mkhytarian, and other past-prime players, Arteta has something resembling a lab experiment: young players whose habits and views are at their most malleable. Many are rising talents (Sambi Lokonga, Tomiyasu, Fabio Vieira) coming to Arsenal from smaller clubs; some are players who have felt stifled in their previous homes (Ødegaard, Partey, Jesus/Zinchenko); all are fully bought-in to the famous non-negotiables and the team-first ethos. Arteta is a demanding boss, but apparently a charismatic one. This team plays full of belief.
Rival fns and pundits alike haven't been paying attention to Arsenal's improvement because it wasn't results based. Now they see a team playing excellently and struggle to accept it as authentic because it looks like it's come from nowhere when in reality, the progress has been on plain sight just unacknowledged.
Arsenal were extremely unfortunate in the 2021-22 season not to get 4th. Here's why: 1. Started the season with injuries & covid 2. Lost KEY players at vital times. Tierney replaced by Tavares. Partey by Lokonga and Tomiyasu. Note two of those injured in International friendlies 3. Tottenham got 6 points off Man City which you would have got something like14/1 at least for them to do. Yet Arsenal only fell 2 points behind Spurs. It wasn't a bottle job at all. If City beat Spurs at home, for which they were long odds on, Arsenal get 4th
Differing contrasts on both managers in yesterday's clash between Arsenal and Chelsea. Graham Potter is a good manager but I'm starting to wonder will the owners of Chelsea give him the elbow room to grow just like the Arsenal board gives Arteta? Potter had a good thing going at Brighton but when a club like Chelsea comes knocking, you're not going to turn that down. Maybe it's a move too soon? Who knows? Arsenal's win yesterday was by far the most impressive, despite wins over Spurs and Liverpool.
Great video only gripe I have is saying arsenal fell away last season, they did but it was due to way more injuries than the team was ready for. Which was rectified in the summer to a large extend, still additions as for any team but the core is there
Everyone surprised that Arteta would be suited for a role in management simply don't remember his last few years as a player. He showed all the traits of being a good manager, but it's still surprising how well it turned out
As a Chelsea fan, I must admit, Arsenal are definitely playing well; but as a genius stated “Pep got so bored dog walking the Premier League that he created his own competition. Gave them his assistant and a couple of solid pieces to get them going”
After watching all the Arsenal games In pre-season I knew Arsenal would be special this season. My top predictions b4 the season were: 1. Manchester City 2. Arsenal 3. Liverpool 4. Tottenham I'm confident Arsenal will not slip up. Major respect to Arteta, and the recruitment team of Arsenal.
Unai Emery has proved that he's a very good manager. He was stuck with a daunting task of being "the guy who replaced Wenger"; wrong squad, wrong time. By the end, however, everything had just gone stale and it did seem like the team was just trudging joylessly downward to being London's Everton. His sacking might not have been fair, but that doesn't mean it wasn't right. The current team plays with such joy and belief ... sure, winning is the biggest reason why, but in this case it's a virtuous circle. Even when missing the UCL last season, as big a disappointment as that was, it felt like things were finally getting better. Gone are the days of "There's something going on with Ozil, but we don't know what. There's something going on with Xhaka, but we don't know what. There's something going on with Mustafi and Sokratis ... and everybody knows what (they just aren't good enough)."
You forgot maybe the key for having a good balance in attack and defence or easier to understand, transition playing. Arteta is very good in transition play's and one player is top at this, Thomas Partey is such a great and quality player in defence and attack, also have a very good positioning on the pitch, which is very important for the team and Arteta. Good video, great stuff! 👏👍
After the north London derby that spurs won 2:0 before talking about spurs mourinho gave credit to arteta by saying . Arteta] gave us a very difficult game,” Mourinho said. “Tactically they were very good, very organised. They gave us problems, problems we were able to resolve. “They have a good tactical courage and incredible spirit. They are a good team and he is a good coach. “I can imagine tomorrow the headlines will be about them not being in a good position in the table, but I believe with these players and Mikel it will be Arsenal again.” Everybody laughed
Most football fans believe in a manager or player when he is obviously doing well...but when his talent was still a bit raw and he was making a few mistakes here and there they were quick ridicule him...fans gotta understand you not Gonna get the finished product all the time sometimes you gotta give the flower some time to grow
glad to support arteta from early days until now and not give in to arteta out movement. it obvious it is players attitude and mistakes that make us really bad in previous years.
Arteta had his share of mistakes too, but for a young manager it's normal. He learned from it and evolved as a coach and he deserves his praise for the way he transformed this team.
It's not just about blindly giving time to the manager. Arteta had a plan. Even through the bad times and defeats, we could see what he was trying to do, trying to coach the team to do. We also understood that he inherited a lot of players which couldn't or wouldn't fit into his plan. Moving them would need time. And knowing Arsenal financial situation, he couldn't get the new players he wanted until the old players were gone. Compare Arteta's starting 11 when he first became manager and the present starting 11. The only senior player that remained was the most unlikely one, Xhaka Granit, who obviously bought into the plan. And of course, the youth team graduates like Saka, Martinelli and Smith Rowe who being young were more teachable, in contrast to the so called 'big characters' like Aubamayeng. I know there were a quite a number of fans were saying Arteta out when the early results didn't go their way, but those would are aware of the performances would 'trust the process'. But I repeat it is not just about blindly giving time to the manager. If you can tell that the manager doesn't even 'trust his own process' or doesn't even have a process in mind by switching back and forth between different tactics and personnel every other week just to 'get results' then you know he isn't the right manager and should be shown out the door ASAP.
I doubted Mikel and I have to say I was wrong. Last year I wondered if he was out of his depth and concerned why players kept falling out with him, but this is a guy with standards, he loves our club and feels we should be at a certain level so he prioritises the collective over the individual. At this moment in time Xhaka is his greatest triumph. I love the guy and he's been our best player of the season so far.

Emery didn't have a chance to sign many players who he deemed suited to his tactics and wasn't able to get rid of the ones who can't fit into his system
But also you have to be able to convince them. Emery's problem was he didn't convince them enough. Arteta on the other hand, from the very first interview, you can see that this guy can communicate very well, hence why the trust in him even in tough times.
@@billyferaldy Agreed. Arteta is great in public speech, so I bet he conveyed his ideas, system and stats very well to Kroenke. His football style is also easier on the eye than Mourinho's/ Conte's smash and grab tactics
@@billyferaldy The difference is that Emery worked under Raul Sanllehi who was a director of football at the time. Arteta was given more power in his decision making.
@@domagojhrgovic7419 Edu and Arterta are the dream team, along with Kroenke son working with them and the clubs own plan, whereas they Kroenke let the club director have free reign before without any input.
@@MrAceekidd Arteta and Edu genuinely care about the club as our former players. Raul Sanllehi cared more about his agent connections. He was to blame for that Pepe transfer and that led to his departure.

it’s a big if, but if Arsenal win the league, I’d say it’s more impressive than what Peps done so far in England, he took the best team and won less than expected, Mikel would’ve taken a team outside of CL places to the title and that’s deserving of all the credit
Even if arsenal get 2nd with 90 points he has to start getting the praise like Klopp did once it started working at Liverpool
The 2 most important games for Arteta came against Chelsea: the FA Cup final and Boxing day 2020 when he was about to be sacked. It's been onwards and upwards from there
I’ll honestly never forget that Boxing Day win again - I thought we were going to lose!
Set piece improvement at both ends of the pitch. Their corners have become a highly effective weapon.
Partey deserves a mention
Last season I saw an interview with Ødegaard and he said, “We’re working on some stuff… we’ll be ready in about 6 months.”
That was 4 months ago…
Maybe he meant January transfer window or after the world Cup. Excited to see what he meant
I first thought he was overrated then he got fit and got a run games under him, then I realised why Arteta wanted him so much, he is Rodri and Fernandinho put together can defend and can also make that incisive pass going forward something even the great Kante, Makalele or even Essien(okay that is not true as he could do it all too but you get the picture how good Partey is)
One of Arsenal’s greatest challenge is keeping him fit especially after the World Cup.
Arteta is not just a good tactical manager but also a good coach, able to improve players who are ready to learn and develop. You can see that in most of the squad - how individuals have improved season over season.
Long time fan. Just want to say that I love this song, it reminds me of the old Tifo videos !
I hope he wins the PL this year or a major trophy.
i just really love the fact that all the big decisions that arteta has made that had fans and pundits in turmoil at the time, like bringing in ramsdale and white for big big money, sending saliba out for another year on loan when many thought he was ready and selling auba, have all proved to be the right call in hindsight. the man knows what he’s doing
criminally underrated channel
This is a great example of how owners should know when to listen to the fans and when to not. I am so thankful that the Kroenkes backed Arteta even though some impatient fans wanted him out. Arsenal are BACK!!!!
Mikel Arterta deserves every ounce of success he is having what a brilliant manager..
Very excited in the way The Gunners are progressing this season but the second XI performing at par to the first when heavily rotated is a concern for me
I think we should keeping eyes on Edu's negotiations as well. He is so good
Reminds me a lot of liverpool under klopp, only difference is everyone knew klopp was a top tier manager when he came in.
That the board stuck with him and gave him time was the key.
So glad Arteta has turned it around at The Arsenal , lots against him BUT he is now making the grumbling doubters wrong , well done Arteta !!!
Team loses that week: "SACK THE MANAGER, FIRE ALL THE PLAYERS, GET NEW OWNERS, BURN THE STADIUM DOWN!"
We need to inculcate long-term thinking once again.
I believe wenger played a role in arteta's hiring as manager. Both of them often discussed about gameplay together while arteta still his captain.
He will be one of the best thing that will ever happen to arsenal in this generation the future is bright with him for arsenal
I'm a Belgian fan and i'm since it the 90's,
We had a very bad squad with overpaid players, old players and midtable players when we finished 8th,this were painful times and much fans wanted to sack him,but the board trusted the process and this is the outcome
Arteta's time at Arsenal really build up the name 'trust the process'.
Yeah, at this point is pretty safe to say the 76ers bottled theirs
And when you do, you will change the world."
If Arteta would stay for at least half of how long Wenger did, I hope we can win at least one UCL title. COYG!!
Arteta shows his magic
He just need consistency
the management trust his process
Any job, if you work under a MASTER, you will learn a lot; Not only tactics but habits, psychology and attitude of a winner. That's what he picked up and brought over to Arsenal. Now, it is just about adding depth to this squad.
Arteta super coach
hindsight 20 20, there were a lot of artetaout last season when we magnificently failed to get top 4 (and finish the season above spurs). it was clear from last season that we were on track. our goal was to get back to europe, and champions league is more like a bonus. this season, we have been more consistent and the dissapointment from last season is our fuel. we are more matured and cohesive and really can grind out result when needed.
all gooners will say that we have a slim chance to win epl this season, but they journey will be amazing. josh just need to open the warchest this jan to add more depth to our squad so we can compete with city.
Arteta was able to convince Kroenke to trust the process, even renewing his contract when most people wanted him sacked .. I believed in him from day 1, and thank God we stuck with him ❤❤❤
Come for the arsenal content, stay for the awesome graphics and cool tone of the video.
Blows my mind how even in such a thorough video, people throw around the statement that Arteta had “two 8th place finishes in his first two seasons “.
The man took over in December of that first season, picking upa team sitting in the bottom half.
Can't believe Partey didn't get a mention
Looks like Arteta is the guy to put the Arsenal name back on top.
While we praise Arteta as the key for building such a great team, let’s not forget Arsenal also have a great management team lead by Edu and Kroenke. I used to hate Kroenke family, but I have to eat my words now.
Arsenal really do have a great team now, both on the pitch and off the pitch.
You will keep on posting a similar type of videos after every game week coz it’s truly amazing what’s going on with Arsenal. They might win it tbh
The most soothing voice in all of UA-cam.
for anyone still questioning, look at the squad we had against chelsea in baku for the europa final and look at our team now.
He got rid of dead wood in the squad. Players that didn't play for the badge.
ARSENAL!
He’s just beginning
Wait till the youngsters peak
Trust the process.
LEGENDS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
*He's doing it.*
Rival fns and pundits alike haven't been paying attention to Arsenal's improvement because it wasn't results based.
Now they see a team playing excellently and struggle to accept it as authentic because it looks like it's come from nowhere when in reality, the progress has been on plain sight just unacknowledged.
Best young manager in the world right now. COYG! 🔴⚪️
🎼 We've got Super Mik Arteta 🎼 🎵
loving the transformation, COYG
Arsenal were extremely unfortunate in the 2021-22 season not to get 4th. Here's why:
1. Started the season with injuries & covid
2. Lost KEY players at vital times. Tierney replaced by Tavares. Partey by Lokonga and Tomiyasu. Note two of those injured in International friendlies
3. Tottenham got 6 points off Man City which you would have got something like14/1 at least for them to do.
Yet Arsenal only fell 2 points behind Spurs.
It wasn't a bottle job at all. If City beat Spurs at home, for which they were long odds on, Arsenal get 4th
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
imagine, just imagine, if arsenal manage to beat city to the title. madness!
Moral of the story - give your managers time. It doesn't help sacking the boss every 1-2 seasons.
The best type of content.
Great video only gripe I have is saying arsenal fell away last season, they did but it was due to way more injuries than the team was ready for. Which was rectified in the summer to a large extend, still additions as for any team but the core is there
Great videos man, keep it up.
It's not a overnight success
Arteta went through pain and suffering
It's his process which turned Arsenal around
Moreover all credits to him for sure
I'm a big Arsenal fan and my feet are on the ground its been 13 games its top 4 we are aiming for. Please let all calm down and see what happens
After watching all the Arsenal games In pre-season I knew Arsenal would be special this season.
My top predictions b4 the season were:
1. Manchester City
2. Arsenal
3. Liverpool
4. Tottenham
I'm confident Arsenal will not slip up.
“I can imagine tomorrow the headlines will be about them not being in a good position in the table, but I believe with these players and Mikel it will be Arsenal again.”
Everybody laughed
Most football fans believe in a manager or player when he is obviously doing well...but when his talent was still a bit raw and he was making a few mistakes here and there they were quick ridicule him...fans gotta understand you not Gonna get the finished product all the time sometimes you gotta give the flower some time to grow
glad to support arteta from early days until now and not give in to arteta out movement. it obvious it is players attitude and mistakes that make us really bad in previous years.
Same here, mate! So happy for Mikel! :)
Arteta had his share of mistakes too, but for a young manager it's normal. He learned from it and evolved as a coach and he deserves his praise for the way he transformed this team.
Your illustration did KT dirty 😂
and troopz and those Aftv Plonkers were all Arteta OUT for 2 years!! now they love him!
wild how Partey is not even mentioned once
As an Arsenal fan a never once doubted arteta n as a Rangers man. Look at Sir Alex managers need time he's built his OWN team mazin being a fan the now
