And the comment about our neighbours Ireland. "Good news for the Irish economy. They've just discovered oil over there. Bad news, it's baby oil. Further bad news, it's all been used on Ryan's dancers!" Majorly cracked up first time, second time it's even more funny.
I thought no one could ever replace Terry Wogan, but oh my Graham Norton's commentary is the best!! Watching Eurovision is nothing without commentaries from Wogan or Norton.
You most definitely do, he's hilarious and with the perfect attitude for an event such as this! You could also have the best songs too, if only people in the UK gave few more fucks about Eurovision :)
My favourite piece of commentary here is "answers on a postcard please: there's a man on a box, a man in a box and a woman who really should have hemmed her dress...enjoy!"
I cannot even begin to describe how much I love Graham! Back in 2003 when I started watching Eurovision for the first time we happened to see it on BBC (even though I've never lived in the UK) and we laughed our a**es off at his commentaries. I had no idea whom that voice belonged to. Years later I discovered the Graham Norton show and fell in love. Years later I finally found out that they are the same person! :D I love watching Eurovision with his commentaries so much that I get upset every time I don't have access to BBC. Love you, Graham! Stay cool forever!
***** Ah, yes, thank you for correcting me on that. I was aware that Graham is relatively new at this but I didn't know for sure in which year he started. And because, like I mentioned, I didn't know anything about the people behind those voices back then, I guess I didn't realise the person had changed. Quite ignorant if I think about it now, but back then I was younger and wasn't aware of too many things about Britain either. :)
I don't really think what order you perform in makes any real differance, sure it's fun if you have a start number that a lot of countries have won with, that might make you feel a bit lucky but when it comes down to it people will vote for what they like no matter in what order the song is in.
I think its more depending on what songs come before and after. If There has been like Three slow songs in a row and then there is a upbeat song it might stand out a bit and get more votes
"A man on a box, a man in a box, and a woman who REALLY should've hemmed her dress."
DYING.
just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should
I died at "Bye Alex"
+AwieTV same 😂

And this is why I really like our country so much!!! The UK may not have the best songs, but we certainly have the best commentator.

Graham only began commentating for uk in 2009, 2003 would have been terry wogan (another irish presenter popular in uk)
This comment summarized: MANY YEARS LATER
This guy is my hero
This is brilliant. Thanks for posting!
2:35 is the best one
Bye, Alex! xd It's so simple, yet so funny. xd
Haha love it :) Graham is the only reason I watch Eurovision!
The language of gutting fish 😆😆😆
Very funny but the mocking we give will always keep us in last place haha.
You also have the misfortune that everyone understands your mocking ;-) Although we love Graham Norton, so I doubt it's really that 😬😉
And if you've just joined us and thought...hmm Denise van Outen has let herself go...
A man in a box, a man that is out of a box, and a girl that needs to change her dress
will someone please make a best bit with graham from 2014 ? :D
I'm working on that. It will come out soon :-)
Tak ;)
