nice man! I've been climbing casually for 3 months and still cant do V3's , but started pretty out of shape compared to you. gonna go way harder, thanks for the inspiration!
Hey mate, I've been climbing for 6-7 months and have managed to do a few indoor V6s and had similar progression to you with v4s and v5s timeline wise. However haven't done any outside bouldering yet, do you have any advice for bouldering outside for your first time. As it seems like your outdoor bouldering grade was very similar to your indoor which is quite unusual. Cheers mate!
Awesome journey you can really tell how much more comfortable you got relying on bad footholds and utilizing them better! I just got big into climbing in April and sent my first v6 a few days ago…. Went for the fourth day in a row today and sent 3 in 1 session 😁🥳. Such a great feeling
@@Jonathan_sin88 how’d you get injured? I had an unexpected slip on a two finger picked before my fingers were ready and tweaked my ring finger. Super weak for a couple weeks luckily nothing too huge. Just got 1 move away from sending a v8 today so I really hope I don’t get injured!
@@BackedByReason definitely do it! By the time I hit a v6 I thought it’d be too late to see much progress but I just sent my 3rd V8 the other day and wish I had more progress videos 😭
@@V8chump ikr!! I have a video of my first v2 , first v3 , first v4, and my first v6. Got my first v5 flash the other day but not on video. I’m guilty of recording way too much (not just climbing but everyday life) it feels very pretentious filming in the gym or anywhere else, but when you realize nothing in life matters except for the thing you make matter, being a little self indulgent becomes a lot easier. (always been painfully “humble” and selfless but what is selflessness without one’s self) Much love to you and thanks for the encouragement.
I'm here because of Josh Rundle video (tall vs short climber). You are exactly my height (162cm) and I struggle a lot as a short climber. You are kinda my model now so make new video please :D
I thought the same hahaha. I had tennis elbow for 5 months due to trying v6 and v7 outdoors having just one year climbing... and let me tell you that was the dumbest thing I have done in my life period
@@asherrobinson5586 mmhh, even some climbers that climb since years and over 7th grade fail sometimes on some 6c, i doubt someone climbing since 2 months could do 6c fr

ahha glad to hear it, just make sure you don't get injured like I did!

Literally same. I started in April and just sent my first v6 . I have plenty of climbing clips and I’m gonna do a video just like this one

look at jonathan man, so inspirational. 🤯
the last outdoor clip: your recovery looked sick!! I did rewind that a couple of times.
hahaha thanks !!! it was a fight for sure
Wow that's great progress. I'm only occasionally managing V4s after a year of climbing.
Don't worry about the gradessss, I am sure you re crushing it!!
What injuries?

Nice v3 at the end
Little over a month into climbing, 6 v6s sent climb is so fun!
WOAHHH, thats a stacked pyramid, keep it up !!!
damn thats insane. What did u do before starting to climb?
100% bs
@@gingobingo1567 he probably confused v6 with 6a or something

Great video thanks
Inspiring!!
Very nice video, inspirational :)
thanks for the support!!!
Your progression is so quick. V4 seems impossible for me.
grades are so different everywhere, no need to pay too much attention to that!! Its fine as long as you are having fun and enjoying it!!!
I’m about in the same track you were. I just got my first two v5’s recently and I’m about 2 months into starting climbing
Gym or outdoors?
Wtf i v5 is 6C, how could you do 6c after 2 months 🤔
