I read a study done by Lund University where they examined the effects various factors had on dividend policy for swedish companies. They also found, just like you imply in the video, that company size was positively correllated with dividend payouts. The two other positive factors were profitability and liquidity. Unsurprisingly, investment opportunities had negative correllation with dividends. They also found that one reason for paying dividends is as a form of signaling between insiders and outsiders. A way for the company to say "hey, we're in good financial health".

Sounds like an interesting study. I've come across multiple useful studies from Lund in the past (I recognize the name) and it's unfortunate that some of the great academic work that happens doesn't ever get proper visibility. We try to use academic research whenever possible to support findings and even did a paper on our Quantigence strategy (performance analysis) that's well worth a read. Fire us an email and we'll send it to you. Joe P.

You have a juicy video for us on the other side of the pond, certainly impressive performance by any measure.
I wonder if there is a product (ETF or similar) on the market based on your Quantigen strategy? If not, maybe you should work with a financial institution to make it a reality as the burden of compliance and accreditation is probably too high.
There is a guy on UA-cam, he talks a lot mostly praising himself but he went through that burden to set an ETF up, mainly to get around CGT - he is often flip-flopping his long term holdings. He's said an ETF can do so with impunity whereas individuals can't. He mentioned the tax saving in one year would pay for all startup costs and leave a change, besides as he gets more investors, he'll make money on the fund management in addition. His ETF performance so far is nothing to write home about but I mentioned all above because a packaged and managed product (Q-based dividend ETF) would appeal to a lot of people, myself included and it might be a major new revenue stream for your firm worthy of serious consideration.

There is no product based on our strategy, and we're actively thinking about how we might launch an ETF based on all the interest we're receiving. Would you mind replying with the ticker of the ETF you're referring to? We'll look to see who is managing the back end and then do some of our own research. Partnering with an existing ETF provider is something to consider as well. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts. Very useful.

You've come up with a good strategy levelling much of risks and uncertainties of long term investment for retirement. It deserves more coverage, and becoming a part of many investors portfolio. I've considered implementing it for myself by taking your list and running with it, but the burden of long term management and need for regular rebalancing have deterred me so a packaged and managed ETF product with reasonably low management cost is probably key catalyst to wide adoption and economy of scale.
The ticker is PP and the gentleman's name (well, his public name at least) is part of the ETF name. To clarify Joe, I'm not in anyway associated with the man nor PP ETF, not even an investor. I'm not promoting nor profiting from this either. I just mentioned him to emphasise one doesn't need a Wall Street pedigree to launch an ETF though you certainly have the credentials plus tons of data to demonstrate your strategy fairs well compared with other dividend growth strategies, adjusted for risk.
I do agree partnering or involving an established investment outlet is the right approach for several reasons. He's also teamed up with and handed over day to day management of fund to a respectable partner/provider, the name escapes me. Hope to hear about a new ETF based on your strategy soon🤞

@@soundslight7754 Thank you very much for taking the time to share your thoughts and this ETF. At 76 basis points he's charging a lot and has amassed a very small amount of AUM. That's the dilemma. You need to charge high fees just to cover costs for small ETFs. However, it's worth looking into the mechanics and what minimal AUM would be needed to cover costs. We'll take a look at the providers he's working with and do some of our own digging into this. A Quantigence ETF would make a lot of sense but it would need to have low(er) fees and we need to do some of the math around that. Again, thank you for the info!

$1,349 for 4 week supply. Yikes! A couple of years ago, I lost over 40 pounds with ZERO exercise. I did it by drastically reducing my intake of rice and any food made of flour like bread, cookies, pastries, and pasta. At the same time, I increased my intake of healthy fats, proteins, and veggies, all of which made me more satiated. While exercising is very important, I learned that you can't exercise your way out of obesity without also changing your diet. It's much easier to reduce calories than it is to burn them.

More importantly, it's at an affordable price point relative to what other outfits are charging for subpar quality.
