cant remember when i went (2018/19? die antwoord was there) and it was the muddiest festival i've ever been to. So many good memories there. Hell at the time. Walked around in womens wellies 3 sizes too small for me for 3 days.
@@zeekachu000it’s a rock festival in Derby that happens 7/8/9/10/11/12th ish of June. The weather is usually pretty bad and with all the ground being grass/ dirt, when it rains gets really really bad. Google some photos to see what I mean!

I used to live in the Middle East, and high twenties in the UK sometimes feels like desert weather beause there's so much humidity. Homes are hot, shops are hot. Not everywhere has AC. Public transport is an oven. When people do come over in the summer, they often get surprised by how much hotter it feels.

Where I live On am not allowed an airco unless it doesn't have an outside compartment. I settled for a mobile airco but it doesn't compare to what I know from hotels in the US. Or well everywhere in the US (mostly Florida). But when I was a kid, say 35-40y ago we hardly ever got temps above 26 degrees Celsius. Now hitting 30 is the norm in summer and also 36 is becoming the new normal in summer. Imagine a house built to retain heat with no airco. It gets old really fast. I hate summer with a passion. Temps of 16 degrees are perfect for me. I can do 21 degrees but above that I start to feel sick and that's a long two to three months, I can tell you that much.

The heat isn’t the problem, it’s the humidity that makes it much worse, people in hot dry climates don’t get the difference between having heat all year and hot humid weather. But then nobody from cold climates like the UK are claiming refugee status in hot countries are they?

Let’s not forget that time a meteorologist tried to warn people about a heat wave, predicting a THOUSAND people would die, only for the news anchor to say “I want us to be happy about the warm weather!” And then a thousand people died due to overheating.
As an Indian during this summer we used to live at a temperature at 45°C in Delhi. And even 33°C was a relaxing temperature for us💀✋🏻. I'm a student and majority of schools don't have air conditioners including mine so we had to rot at 42°C in a very hot room studying😃

I'm not British (I'm Irish, yes there IS a difference), and this is still relatable - similar situation here, we get a lot of wet days yet I will be the first to complain when the sun comes out, I don't handle heat well at all 😂
Here in the Philippines, it's supposed rainy season but i guess the sun has other plans (such as burning us every time we go out and steaming us in our homes like dumplings)
