LOL, in the 1980's as a young man in my early 20's I got hooked on Percocets....I was eating 6- 8 every 5 hours about 3-4 times a day,I'd go through a script of 30 every day.if I didn't have them I'd be miserable.. Body aches, diarrhea, sweats,ect,ect..major constipation also.I'd have a movement hopefully 1 time a week... That went on for about 7 years, than I'd eat VicodineE.S.,80mg oxy Contains, than when that got to expensive to maintain I switched to heroin for another decade almost, than quit cold turkey,I was a miserable wreck for almost 3 months, those were the hardest days of my life. Than in 2003 at age 41,I quit all drugs and have been clean since, 19 years and counting.
Good one mate. 20 years now myself . Had a 1000$ a day habit for well over a decade . I started on pills too, then heroin and everything else i could get into my veins . I was an I.V user, Go big or go home was my mantra . How im still alive is anyone's guess? I find sobriety one hell of a drug now, reality these days and this Clown Circus we have going is quite the trip . Cheers mate .
My mother, may G_D rest her soul, was a RN, would warn me that drug dealers would pretend to be your friend, give you free drugs until you got addicted, then slowly jack up the price to market rate. She warned me not to "look for pennies" (showing loneliness) by looking down on the sidewalk. She also told me she would rather that I have no friends than the wrong kind of friends. Interestingly, at age 50, I looked up my high school friends, who did not indulge in drugs when we were in high school, that half of them died drug-related deaths!
I'm happy for you dude, and good advice from your mom also.my mother told me the same thing too.but I didn't listen.I just loved the feeling of pain pills, all opiates really.and dope..luckily I never overdosed though.
Up in da mornin...Down in de evening....Oh man...I cant take it no more....Ild have five of da blue ones and three of the green ones...Oh Bro......No way.
the poverty and unemployment who is the first responsible for my addiction for 10 years but after I got sick the docs advised me not to get back for this vice .
