Looks really solid, but it just seems to me that it would take a long time to set up and tear down. Could you do a video showing set up and tear down of an already configured system? That would really help me make a decision.
I’ve ordered this exact stand, being shipped to my home in the UK 🇬🇧 for January next year (no stock anywhere till then) is it okay to use 2 x 88 note weighted keyboards on it? I only ask because it states the top tier cannot take more than 30lbs and the keyboard I want to put on the top tier weighs 63lbs 😳😳 On the bottom tier My Korg Kronos 2 88 (Weighs 53lbs and depth of the board is 37.1cm) On the top tier My Yamaha Montage 8 (Weighs 63lbs and depth of the board is 46cm)
I’m about to order the individual parts to build this because nowhere in the UK 🇬🇧 has any stock of this GKS-DBKT88 anywhere!! are the parts listed 100% correct now??
Your parts list states that it has 36" cross bars. If you look at the GKS-DBKT88 link, it says 30" Cross bars. Is this a different build than the GKS-DBKT88?
Brian Long thanks for the comment and for bringing this to our attention. This is the same build as the GKS-DBKT88. The spec should be 36” as mentioned in the video. We will have the website updated to reflect this.
RANDY JUDAH TORREZ ❤️ < Ohhhh NO way to much time it's really solid when it set up but it needs to be modified to we're it's Not so where's Waldo LOL 😆 🤣 😂
yes - 15 minutes to set up a keyboard stand is not going to work for me - I do love Gibralter - can you do a simpler stand that you pull out of a bag, and unfolds somehow? a 3- 5 minute set up would be okay
It doesn’t take 15 minutes to setup.. once it’s built, you break it down into sections… I have a 3 tier Gibraltar stand which is bigger and it takes me around 5 to 6 minutes to setup 🙄
@@WayneMusicianUK I'll check it out next purchase - I went with the K&M 18860 with the 3rd tier - it's pretty intuitive and very solid - I love Gibraltar gear though and this stand does look more hi tech and comfortable to play on, but I can't wrap my head around the quick set up of this yet -
@@miditime I also had a K&M Spider Pro like you, the thing collapsed taking my 2 x keyboards with it… my Gibraltar is the most solid stand I’ve ever had
we’ll where we’re you 3 mo ago? I sure didn’t know which way to go - I’ll likely pick up the Gibraltar too- The K&M secret seems to be- be very careful how you place the keyboards on the stand - if one side of a keyboard isn’t exactly right I can see it slipping off- I have light keyboards on it now - Trying to steer clear of the 80 pound monsters - I’m getting too old - Thanks for the tip! Maybe just use the K&M in the studio - save packing it up 👍
You got to be kidding me, there goes all you energy and time wasted before the gig. There's got to be easier and faster to do this. No thank you. Quiklok, Ultimate are just as good or even better in most cases and 100 times faster putting together than this.

Could you build a rack narrow enough to hold laptops and small recording mixers?
Not really a good demo bevause what if the bottom keyboard is too low and your a tall keyboard player?

You could have put the keyboards on it, to check the effectiveness but it looks good, with style
How many Memory clamps does it come with? Mine came today and it was short three I believe.
Very much interested in buying one, but none of the usual web shops have inventory. Are you still making these?
Yes we are still selling this stand. It has been back ordered for weeks, and we should be getting stock on 8/13

Incorrect - takes me 5 to 6 minutes to setup an even bigger Gibraltar stand
