I wish someone “revived” this Area 51 Raid trend it was fun watching people all coming together to just look around and then go back to their lives😂😂😂 gosh I remember I begged my mom to go to Nevada thinking we would actually try to raid it but,no one wanted to die😂😂
To be honest if I was there and there were enough people I would try to go as far inside as I could not for the sake of finding aliens or any political meaning but just for the meme. I doubt anyone would shoot and risk any sort of backlash, also everyone knew something could happen so I doubt there were anything that could be considered dangerous or of value at Area 51 that night.

My friend and I are in the video around 14:00 and 17:41 I am the guy in the cat girl shirt and red wig. I said I was going, I went. Where were the rest of the 2M who said they would go?
Attendance was close to 3000. My band played and had an amazing time. It was a showcase of the Las Vegas and DIY music scene. I was directly involved in the organization of our portion of the event (we were a side stage). It was a fun time, it was a beautiful place to visit, and a great joke on the media who came with their whole story already written weeks beforehand. Also Maddy Roberts is a greedy little baby who cared more about money than about the music or the meme. He called reporters to tell them the event was canceled. Never was canceled, but lots of people thought it was since it was on the news. That made it very difficult for us to book bands since they had booked other gigs for that weekend because they read in the news that it was canceled.
Yeah that guy came across as a bit of a douche....especially when he kept saying how dangerous it was. Anyone heading to the desert surely knows to take everything they need like water and food so where was the danger coming from? And then he had an area 51 party in Las Vegas? That's fucking stupid and pointless....what a douche. Good on you for helping pull it together for some fun times, annoying about the misinformation making bands hard to book though.

Love that quote.
You know a meme is good when it nearly causes a catastrophe
