I would like to ask you a question. When using a dip pen for drawing, how can I avoid the ink suddenly flooding the paper at the beginning of a stroke? Also, when you choose colors, do you rely on intuition, or do you plan the color combinations before applying them?
@@Lucia_Lu0326 For colors it’s usually just intuition, if I plan too much it just isn’t as fun for me. To keep the ink from blotting I always test on some scratch paper after dipping. Usually, blotting occurs when there is too much ink, or there is something stuck on the tip like paper fibers or dried ink.
@@Henderverse Thank you so much for your answer! I have another question: When using a dip pen, the drawing time is quite short, and I always need to dip the pen frequently. Is this the same for you as well? Also, is the nib you're using in this video the HUNT 56 model?
