With a strong desire to inspire and initiate young talents to the culture and heritage of the prodigious and foremost Indian Classical Dance, Bharathanatyam, “Sri Kalakshi school of Dance” was established in the year 2007 by Smt.Ranjana Vinodkumar.
Kalakshi provides intensive training of the art based on the Natyashastra concepts by which students are groomed to be holistic artistes. The dance school offers great opportunities to exhibit their talents through variety of dance shows in and outside Tamilnadu. Students also won prestigious awards and prizes from various competitions also add to the Credit.
The dance school is a proud recipient of Noble Golden Crown Award, 2022 for the BEST INSTITUTION OF THE YEAR.
With a promise on her feet for more than 25 years, Ranjana Vinodkumar thrives as an elegant dancer and proficient mentor of the great Indian Classical Dance, Bharathanatyam. She holds a Master's Degree in Bharathanatyam(M.F. A. Dance) from the famous Kalai Kaveri affiliated with the Tanjore Tamil University, Tamilnadu. Ranjan also holds the title "Nattuvanga Kalaimani" from Annamalai University. Ranjana has been a promising & eminent dancer earning lots of awards and credits. Ranjana was honored with eminent titles such as

“Nritya Kanaka Jothi Award” at International Classical Dance and Music Festival

She is also conferred with the prestigious title “Natyakala Choodamani” for her excellence in
the pursuing art form.
Ranjana's caliber as a performer, choreographer, and teacher opened her gates to succeed in this field of Dance.
