He doesn't care about those people

A state in which you can work all day, every day, and still not make rent is a national shame.
And you have people in Florida driving around in drugs and can’t keep jobs
Yeah that’s unfortunately every state.
A state that has to depend on this said state for, well, basically everything is way more shameful I’d think.
@@ZoeyZoco Yep.
Just say you're poor and can't afford to live in California. California makes the most money out of most states. Stay hating
Born and raised in California. The cost of living is out of control. Gavin has to take ownership of that.
Liberals NEVER take blame but ALWAYS deflect and counter-accuse Republicans for the catastrophic damage liberals have done with their policies.
Jeez! If you're born and raised in California, like me, then you should know how demographics work. These problems stem from way before GN. Do you understand about 'supply and demand'? If not then your response makes sense. It's uneducated. People for decades, many already homeless, have been flocking to California and over time the state cannot sustain the impact. It's not rocket science.
I’m from California. Grew up in Inglewood and drugs, and gangs.
Yes, I lived in Belmont Shores, and Newport Beach.

@@lukephillips770 Cali is getting worse but it's better than the most of the US shouldn't be the rational we go by. Gavin has hand in California politics for 20 years. Gotta hold him accountable is my opinion.
@@lydacious7338 Gavin has been involved in California politics for 20 years (decades). People flock here because of the lax laws, free money, and drugs.... These are polices that Gavin and our progressive leaders like Scott Weiner have put in place. Those are the facts.
I left California because i was tired of working 2 jobs 7 days a week, just to make rent at 2200 for a studio. I had no life, homeless everywhere, my car stolen 4x. Each time 1300 to get it out of the police impound lot. Taxes taken out of every penny. I was depressed, and on the verge of becoming homeless.

Whatever state you go to, it will ultimately be running on California money anyway since dumb red states can’t do anything well for themselves. Mississippi, Kansas all those illiterate states.
The problem is too many people want to live in California. That is why the cost of living is so high. It’s lower in other states, like Texas, because fewer people want to live there.

GMA just did a video news report on the closure of the major shopping center in mid-San Francisco. They were advised not to do the report from downtown because it was too dangerous. There have been numerous robberies of film crews in the Bay Area. The crooks can't keep from pulling a gun to steal $100K worth of high end audio/video equipment. One crew had even hired guards and were still robbed of their equipment. Yes, people are fleeing San Francisco. No, it isn't just Covid. San Francisco just is no longer livable for decent people. Newsom is trying to spin his failures, but the whole of California is failing. Major companies along with smaller ones are pulling out. Who's going to pay for the massive entitlements the cities have to pay when the taxpayer move ou?. It isn't the non-workers who are leaving. They stay to get their freebies. It's the taxpayers who are leaving. When the city's coffers run dry, there will be riots. And it's the mayor's fault and Newsom's fault. This man want's to be president. Beware!!

Newsom buried Hannity.. Hannity was like a deer looking in the headlights
When Newsome said that we spend what 10 nations spend on defense, I was thinking that's because we're paying FOR those 10 nations defense.
To be honest, that is just the total budget allocated for national defense (all branches of the military, federal spending) compared to some smaller nations like Norway (which has only 5.5 miliion people but a highly prioritized and funded military).
A nation the size of the U.S. would of course have a higher budget (not to say that there isn't any useless stuff or wasted money in some aspects of national defense).
I think bloated budgets are more a problem of bad accounting and planning - not priority. Every nation should have a strong military defense.
I’m from California and I’m middle class and I cannot afford to purchase a house and I make good money. Also the fact I have to pay extra fees cause I have good credit and low debt to income.
I hate the fact well off people try to talk about how middle class are taken care of when middle class is priced out all over California. Why are we still paying at the pump when the last two years the state has had a surplus?
Right, I know what you mean. Unfortunately, for the middle class in California, there is no assistance. If you're low-income, you get all these resources and help. If you're wealthy, well, you have your wealth. Middle class folks who work hard to earn their honest living truly receive the short end of the stick.
Because they always need money to keep their coffers filled.

He knows it's a lie but he said it because all the liberals that flocked to Florida to avoid their states lockdowns will believe it's true and hopefully flock to California.
Yeah only fake floridians move to California
i see some move but they’re not moving to the major cities like LA or San Francisco but places like the inland Empire or San Diego
@@TopGuardDawg i think san diago is a major city.....
What is a real Floridian?
He's so focused on IPO's and big companies generating massive numbers. Newsom has Hollywood and Silicon Valley. Takes those away and there is nothing left. CA makes owning a small business nearly impossible.
Tech companies are different. They get funding and some take off. From that perspective CA is the best place to start a company. Mom and pops bagel shop gets no love, though. I will admit, I work in tech but sometimes I want a bagel.
He gets no credit for big companies creating wealth
Government taxes and spends they don’t create anything
Cali respects their workers. Tesla will never start in Florida, Texas, etc because THEY DON’T
Newsom lives in an alternate reality, there is the California State he sees and another the one we live in.
Realty: California world's 4th largest economy, # 1 food producing state, best public university system in the world, tech capitol of the world, America's most populated state. More reality: Republican controlled states are dirt poor, uneducated, crime ridden, sickly and obese.
Then leave I’ll help you move
Even in one of the riches states there is poor people dude. Live with it
@@Vendesty Well poor is NOT about lack of money. Poor is a mindset issue. In California, and similar places it has become a dump due to enabling drug use and homelessness as a lifestyle choice.
A state with a trillion dollar economy would be a dump if they follow the same worthless policies of Newsom et al
■ *71% of GDP are in blue counties.*
■ *Biden-Voting Counties Equal 70% Of The U.S. Economy.*
■ *Seven of the top 10 dependent states are red states.*
■ *Blue states are subsidizing red states.*
This guy's deeper in denial than Cleopatra's locker.
Denial is how Hannity copes. Gotta do something to cope and pretend right wing ideas are even remotely popular.
Prove him wrong then. Red states usually survives thru subsidies from Blue states dawg. 😂😂😂😂
Governor is totally delusional.
The state of Cal representatives in Sacramento just voted in a bill that will require all hospitals to have a mandatory minimum salary of $20 an hour. That amount will increase through the years. This is causing nonprofit hospitals to consider closing down. And as a result, the state of California is ready to provide no interest loans to keep these poor nonprofit hospitals afloat financially.
We need term limits for how long citizens can serve political office
Term limits does not guarantee honest
Oh don’t worry. Ever since aunt Nancy got him in at the SF Board of Supervisors he’s had the dream of inflicting his greasy snake oil victim identity politics on the nation. 100% he’s going to run for POTUS
Agreed
I lived in California my entire life and I'm still here 😢 but I'm leaving next month for good. It's hell over here don't move here don't even vacation here not worth it!!!!!
I lived in florida my whole life and left last year 🎉
I remember the Pro Golfer Phil Mickelson saying he was thinking of leaving California because the taxes were getting so high to live there.
Newsom is almost in tears because he has to defend a lie.
Look you don't have to like fox I really don't, but how the actual hell can you defend this guy? For God's sake look at the state of California cities. It's an absolute nightmare.
Holy crap Mr Newsom is in MAJOR denial. You go to Cali and you see more homeless people than middle class.
How would you know, you've never left your Arkansas trailer park 😭
It's like that everywhere in the world. People are drawn to the warm weather. Regardless, California is the wealthiest state, followed by Texas. Clearly, they're doing something right.
Yep... Cause people with homes aren't out in the streets. Most republicans who meet a homeless fellas usually offer him a couple bucks for a deep analFaulking.
Gavin Newson for President Red States Trash
@@knelson3484 ...and at 1.8 trillion GDP vs 3.7 trillion trillion GDP, California's GDP is TWICE that of Texas 🏆🇺🇸
Most of those businesses he’s talking about here in California are selling from a table on the street park or beach.
Or from the center divider at a red light. 😂
Clown governors like Ronnie the Clown, bus their homeless to democrat states! Even a cursory dip into the statistics of social and economic well-being reveals that Florida falls short in almost any measure that matters to the lives of its citizens. More than four years into the DeSantis governorship, Florida continues to languish toward the bottom of state rankings assessing the quality of health care, school funding, long-term elder care, and other areas key to a successful society.
Florida may be the place where “woke goes to die”-as DeSantis is fond of saying-but it is also where teachers’ salaries are among the lowest in the nation, unemployment benefits are stingier than in any other state, and wage theft flourishes with little interference from the DeSantis administration. In 2021, DeSantis campaigned against a successful ballot initiative to raise the state’s minimum wage, which had been stuck at $8.65 an hour. Under DeSantis’s watch, the Sunshine State has not exactly been a workers’ paradise.
Largely because of DeSantis’s obstinacy, Florida is one of 10 states that have refused to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act, an act of political spite that has cost those states billions in federal health care dollars and cost thousands of people their lives. More than 12% of Floridians are without medical insurance, a worse record than all but four other states. Despite having the country’s highest percentage of retirees, Florida has the worst long-term care among the 50 states, according to the American Association of Retired Persons.
Public schools fare no better than health care in DeSantis’s Florida. Not only did Florida rank 49th in the country for average teacher pay in 2020, but the Education Law Center, a non-profit advocacy group based in New Jersey, found in a 2021 report that the state had the seventh-lowest per-pupil funding in the country. Education Week, which ranks states public school annually, looking beyond mere test scores, placed Florida 23rd in its 2021 report, a lackluster showing for a large and wealthy state.
Babes do you even know what happens at the Long Beach ports? How about the Central Valley? What about your cell phone? Is it by chance ran by a company in CA? How about UA-cam? Does this platform exist thanks to a company in CA?
Isn’t that a good thing
Newsom was ready and had some facts and numbers. I thought Hannity was going to eat him up.
The citizens of America will soon have to fix these issues ourselves. We've waited long enough.
I'm telling you
I have 4 daughters. Two of them have left CA in the past 5 years. My husband and I are going to leave in the next year or two after he can retire. We won't be able to afford to live in CA after we retire. Plus with all the trans laws they are passing and all the other liberal crap, we just can't deal with it. We have been here almost 40 years and don't want to go, but we feel like we have no choice now.
Good, so there is hope Cali will improve
Poor little snowflake.
ever thought of working harder? XD
That's why I love living in Florida
God bless you on your journey for a better life 🙏❤️🗡️

Gavin, the fact that you will not let Hannity talk proves your guilt.
I saw it the other way around. Typical of most 'opinion/news' interviews these days, the host makes 3,4,5 statements in a row that the guest never gets a chance to fully address and their lack of response is usually used as proof the host's statements are correct. Newsom said on several occasions "you addressed these topics, give me a chance to answer each of them." It was usually Hannity who tried to stop Newsom from correcting his bombardment of statements.
Go back and watch the first 1.30 minutes, Gavin sat there in uninterrupted silence while Klanny filibustered. Then Klannity would ask a question and interrupt while Gavin was answering. You're just big mad Gavin wiped the floor with him 😭😂🤣
@@user-zq7bu7by7s WOW so the introduction counts as questions???
Oh come on this was embarrassing for Hannity
Newsom does make a good point about California and New York driving the majority of the American economic engine. And Hannity admitted himself he's in New York and not in a red state either. I mean Fox News headquarters are in Manhatten for crying out loud!
Shocked to see these two actually have a conversation face to face. Haven't seen anything like this since Bill o' Riley interviewed Obama
Those companies were in place before you showed up. Please don't run for president because I would have no place to go.
Gavin you cannot hide from the truth.
That Cali is the 4th richest economy in the world, the envy of every dirt poor Republican controlled failure state
The truth is not hidden, is right there in the NUMBERs, how are they calling it now? Oh right, Receipts. He has them, Hannity doesn't...
The truth: California world's 4th largest economy, # 1 food producing state, best public university system in the world, tech capitol of the world, America's most populated state. Eat your heart out Republicans controlled Failure States 😱😭
And Hannity should tell us when he's moving now because he definitely shouldn't be living in a blue state.
Gavin ate him up. Hannity was talking in circles.... and I'm a conservative
Not BIG tech anymore, overused and abused statistics, those BIG companies left or leaving. Also, the food production is dwindling from poor management of resources. California has three times the land mass of Florida AND Florida picked up the shipping framework because California couldn't manage!
This Governor is too arrogant to admit what a mess he’s made out of California
There's NO opportunity in California! Solve the over population problem!
Gavin should worry about the homeless
And the drug addiction crisis
They are likely his money pit.
Why should he? His family and friends makes millions probably from those funds to rehabilitate or fight them 😂😂
Republicans should worry about gun violence in their states:
1 Mississippi: 33.9
2 Louisiana: 29.1
3 New Mexico: 27.8
4 Alabama: 26.4
5 Wyoming: 26.1
6 Alaska: 25.2
7 Montana: 25.1
8 Arkansas: 23.3
9 Missouri: 23.2
10 Tennessee: 22.8
He’s not going to worry about the homeless until they move in front of his house. Just like Sanctuary city you had to put it in front of their face so they can see it
This came across as a pretty balanced interview - except the talking over each other... . painful. One can almost imagine these guys having a drink together afterwards.
they 100% do! Sean let him walk all over him.
