I wish they would make one of these for people that have multiple vintage receivers on display. It would be awesome just to be able to have one of these that would control up to 10 or 12 amplifiers for receivers.
I use the one from Douk Audio, the VU3 and I use it to switch back between my vintage receiver in the summer and my class A tube equipment in the winter (Summers are extremely hot here where I live and the tubes heat up the room too much ) and auditioning different speakers. It works great and I have not heard any degradation whatsoever in the sound quality using it. I have been using it for about three years now and it’s been trouble free. The meters are just a novelty and I don’t pay attention to them and leave the power off when using it in the setting that I previously selected and power it back on to change the setting and then power it back off. It stays in the last setting that was selected even when powered off.
Cood stuff, i have the same gadget. Btw its recommended not to change the swiches while sound is playing, the louder the more it could do some damage (arc and ruin the switch contacts over time), or something worse. Better to be safe and and hit pause / stop / mute before switching 👍
What a strange bit of kit, the VU meters are not calibrated as power meters (do not measure watts) but its hard wired through the speaker output from your amplifier.? seems a bit pointless, what information is the VU meter actually telling you and what unit is it calibrated to measure? If not watts or dynamic line input? I guess on the MIC function its dB, perhaps add/share the specs? Do you really want the final output of your amplifier going through this box? what's it doing to impendence? and you now have double the amount of speaker connectors in the circuit? I think its most useful feature is being able to switch between speakers (A+B). Its basically a glorified speaker selector with spurious vu meters, I would put it in the Eye-Fi category because it looks nice.

This one has been tested to be the cleanest of the lot for concerned audiophiles as it doesn't degrade the signal path.

Ive been playing that "Scatman" song since you played it in that one short you released! Been stuck in my head ever since, THANKS!! 😂
Once it's in there, it's hard to get rid of! 😂
Vu meter works better than fosi's. Furthermore this has more features. I like that.
So you are the Scatman....good to know...( I actually like the different-colors option for the VU meters)
Ideal for comparison testing of two makes of speakers being able to instantly switch from A to B. Excellent for reviewers I would suggest.
please do a vid on speaker cabels. do the test with your switch. can you here the difference from the speaker cabels? do cable matter? (thanks)
Looks good
It's works with a receiver/speakers in 8ohms?
I couldn't find anything in the literature regarding 8 Ohms. But if you use two pairs of speakers, I recommend using only 8 to 16 Ohm speakers.
Nice toy.

It’s useful!
Though Marantz amp allows you to change from A-B speakers
Just no VUs!
Nice product , like it !
love the sheep 🐑 sound 😂😂😂
