  • The japanese portion (thank you to eL for helping with that) actually isnt that hard to understand but in the demo song paintvoice comes with it is really really hard to understand what onnakoe is singing...
    Also, PaintVoice is a new vocal synthesizer for android phones. It comes with two default voices, PV_女声 and PV_男声 (PV_Female Voice and PV_Male voice), but you can also import hiragana-encoded CV utaus.
    EDIT: ALSO THE DESIGNS ARE NOT CANON i forgot to say that
    they're just my ideas for them!! they dont have a canon design afaik

    PaintVoice... Sounds as if MS Paint was a vocal synthesizer, at first.

    The first time I knew about PaintVoice was from someone's channel. They were making utau covers with it. And it confused my ears so much I swear-

    Are we just going to ignore the fact that 女声 (onna koe) literally translates to female voice?

      I'm not good with kanji
      I think it's actually supposed to be read "josei"
      which is just a fancier way of saying "onnakoe"
      not much better.

      i dont know what regions its available outside of japan (Its definitely not available in the US) so you might need to make a japanese google play store account
      from there it should show up when you search for "PaintVoice"

    one reason why paint voice sounds bad is bc it doesnt have preutterance like utau does, so most vowels are just super fast and just like- bad sounding

    • @irunastalkloids
      @irunastalkloids  4 роки тому +1

      afaik you can't use a UST. you have to manually draw in the notes yourself
      the utau function is for voicebanks, not UST files
      you can add CV utaus and use them in the app, but only if they have samples with hiragana names
