Getting crit rate is like finding a plant in the antarctic
Gets terrifyingly easier the longer time goes on
The worst is getting crit rate with such a low stat

Save the box for the main chars you need. At level 90 the legendary swords have 175 more flat attack than epic. legendary 587 vs 412 epic. Secondary stat is slightly higher but the flat attack is insanely higher. Also the legendary weapons from standard banner are fairly good all around for all chars.
@@RogerNbr The BP weapons are quite bad. Autumtrace has like 412 attack 20% crit rate. for 7 seconds you can get stacks of 4% attack up to maximum of 20% 1 sec CD. Even if you add those 20% towards the 412 flat, you still won't reach any 587 attack from the legendary weapons. with a full 5 star you would get 12.8% x 5 = 64% more attack, with 1 sec CD up to max 5 stacks. 412 x 1.64 = 675.
The legendary is still better with flat attack and higher crit chance if it's jiyan's sword, but either way yeah? And it has bonuses on top of that, as more recharge. Also has constantly higher attack, no hit conditions for it.
Edit: I'm a bit wrong.. 587.. I thought 687, still no conditions for it and it's constant. But with a 5 levelled autumntrace it would be good enough I guess. I would still go for the legendary. but they get somewhat more close similar. Anyway not a huge selling point like genshins BP weapons. black sword and 2-hander is something different!

it's annoying how most of the characters have very complicated Chinese name that's very hard to pronounce and memorize
Mr. Tashed, if you didn't know, u can just hold click to rapidly maximize the item you're trying to put in to level, saving you some clicks
The gauntlets are made for lingyang btw, his cycle consists entirely of basic atks and resonance skills (both in and out of lion dancing) so he’s able to get both of the effects going really easily
Yea, even though I would really like a crit rate gauntlet he is my main carry since I pulled him first, so I'm probably going with the gauntlet from the freebie and using pulls for someone else's weapon down the road.
I got the gun, then getting the sword in the selector and will have another sword in the standard banner. Havoc MC and Sanhua needs one each because I want them to be on the same team.
Regarding to weapons ATK stats is also important to reminder that buffs for ATK ( e.g.Verina's skill , healing set buff ) scales only with "white" ATK stat which comes from Character and weapon only

Doesn't help that with the current cast, the 2 weapons with crit rate are also for some of the strongest characters/most diverse characters out rn. making the choices not so difficult to make. Kuro has really spoiled us by loading us up with these 5 stars weps and plus everything else we've gotten.
Another reason to get the sword and gun standard 5stars is cuz they are the only ones with crit rate while from the battle pass those are the only ones without crit rate but the others all have crit rate. So this way you can easily secure 1 weapon of each type with crit rate on it
I play calcharo and I really like him but I also wanna finish the endgame stuff too which means I would need more teams, hence why I am confused if I should take the long blade and make calcharo a lot stronger or settle with helios cleaver and just get the sword? could you tell me?

@@ababil2408 he said a couple of times before he moved to the new home that he might try streaming without the green screen for a bit to test the waters. he was interested in tryin something new and adding like backdrops/stuff in the background rather than use the green screen.

Sword+Gun from standard banner/weapon chooser for 5 star also makes sense, Battle Pass the broadblade is a good option, and Stringmaster for rectifier seems ideal to cover bases so far

Gauntlet for jianxin. High atk stats that make her a beast of a support/subdps

Yinlin rectifier is also a very high priority imo.
I'm picking the gauntlet (Abyss Surges looks cool) as Lingyang is definitely the current best user of them. I've been using a Hollow Mirage R3 on him for now, but that means when I use a team of Calcharo, Sanhua and him. Lingyang is swapped in so often with his intro skill the moment he has his Liberation ready to activate the effect of the weapon and go into Lion state. So when I do get the weapon he'll be able to be more of a main dps. If I had Jiaxyn would rather just give her Marcato (the one Ceaseless Aria don't have).
My Calcharo is using Helios Cleaver and got Jiyan's sig so don't have much need for the broadsword, then the rectifier is a pass for me due to getting via battle pass Augment which plan to R5 for my Encore and while I'm tempted for the gun Cadenza been doing just fine for my S6 Mortefi and do have a lot of sword options but is tempting too still so going to have to decide between the latter two for standard weapon banner (leaning more for the sword).
for standard banner pulls it is advised that you go for the weapon banner due to the cracked stats and effects

I'll also reach 45 in a couple of days, my thought process is that since I have both Jiyan and Calcharo/Yinlin, I don't have much use case for Havoc Rover right now, however I do use Mortefi with Jiyan, which probably means I will benefit with the pistol more right now; I'll be choosing the pistol, and I'll be pulling for the sword in the banner (I'm 43 pulls in so that's close too)
Very easy.
Get F2P sword then hold.
Get P2P Yinlin's rectifier cuz critrate. Can use it on Encore also.
And thats it . Hold your free 5star weapon box for whatever you need later on.
pull on the standard weapon banner instead of the standard banner with the standard pulls. I'd suggest going for the sword and pistol out of all the weapons, and if youre lucky and finish the choice banners, with the 5 star box, you'll have 2 5 star weapons in the first two patches of the game. The broadblade is good for calcharro, but i just spent money on the battlepass broadblade and plan to get that r5'd eventually, which is only like 7% less dps, and you'll have an easier time building characters with it. It'll also work for every attack based dps afterwords.
I mean thanks to the standard banner within 30 pulls I've gotten my calcharo to c2 so it's done me good by far especially since I love him and his style maybe I could end up getting hin to Max
@@Angalos if I do get more calcharro dupes I wouldn’t mind it, but they don’t really get good until s3, so I’d prefer to have the 5 star sword and pistol more.
Got the sword in around 40 on the banner, going to go for the gun when I unlock the box. The sword has bought my havoc Rover to a new level!
Question: if you got really lucky and got the sword and gun in a 10 pull. You've got Jiyans broadsword and you did end up buying battle pass and got augmentation for your Yinlin. Would then, you agree w me and think gauntlets for Lion Boii for funsies or go for cons on the others? Or even the 5* atk% Rectifier for Yinlin?? (I know it's better the a low con Augmentation but I wanted the crit rate substat and I'm just battle pass so I won't make it to get her weapon) helppp
Yinlin's own weapon is better anyway, and if you have both sword and the gun, and jiyan's own weapon, then that leaves only the gauntlet.
So yeah bro, pull yinlin's weapon and get that 5* gauntlet.
The thing is that majority of the top teir dps are broad blade which are not crit main Stat, but it has 5 star stats which helps significantly for a damage boost for calcharo and jiyan
That's why i took the battle pass just for the crit rate weapon
yup, I'm going for the sword and pull for the gun too, crit rate is too scarce at this point.
I actually got the sword form the banner..just slapped it into my havoc rover now has 75 crit and 190 crit dmg he can do tons of dmg..im not even union lvl 40 yet..might as well go for the gun next.
Weapons r def op in this game, i have heen using all my free pulls on the weapon and at 60 pity atm

The real question is what do you do with the second time you get a 5-star choice. First time it's optimal to choose the Sword, but should you get another copy or go for the gun, considering there is still not a great fair share of units who'll make great use of it (considering it can be an investment for the future).
Other than that going for something like the Broadblade if you have several units and haven't pulled in the weapon banner (like Calcharo + Jiyan or if you'll pull for Jinghsi) could be the way to go.
First, get one 5* weapon for each variant, then you can consider pulling for weapon dupes.
You'll get a lot of weapon dupes anyway as most of the limited characters want their own signature weapon, and you should always pull for the signature weapon for the characters you're pulling.
So yeah, you'll be swimming in signature weapons in the future.
So just pull the standard 5* gun for now.
You can see how good mtashed is as a cc and guide maker.....He knows the perspective of f2p and knows how to optimize stuffs he is the goat.
I think the obvious choice is the one you have a character that will benefit from the weapon now. Like for me, who is currently maining Encore, the Rectifier I'd say is a no brainer, unless you intend to a copy of the one on the current weapon banner. Likewise, the guantlets are good for our standard banner five star guantlet character, who likes attack for the shield strength. Then there is the sword if you are using Rover. Beyond that, pistol is good, because we won't be getting one of those on a featured banner for a bit, but also not great, because you're probably not heavily using a pistol user for damage right at this moment.
At the end of the day, weapon banner I'd say is the place to spend your perma-banner pulls (after you get to the "pick the five star you want" stage, anyway), and you can set which one you are going for, so, long term, it doesn't really matter. Therefore, current use case or save the box until you have a good use case.
Ah what about im not using any sword unit right now?(i use these jiyan calcharo yinlin mortefi and verina)
Maybe its still a good investment to pick the sword again for future units?
Also im debating on yinlin wep maybe i should go for BP wep idk

I got 2 copies of Emerald of Genesis at 14 pity and 7 pity again. Gave 1 to havoc MC but the other copy is free. Is it good to re-enforce it?

I already pulled for Lustrous because of Calcharo, then the gun for Aalto. At level 45, I will definitely get the sword because it's very versatile.
Personally I'm going with the long sword since Calcharo is one of my main DPS atm and for some reason I don't have a single 4* long sword.
My luck with 4*s was pretty good so everyone else is swimming in 4* weapons at full refinement but my long sword users only have 3* weapons.
I have Encore, Yinlin, Calcharo,Jiyan, MC, Danjin, Mortefi, Verina…. But I am not a whale, I only bought BP and Lunite Subscription.
Which weapon should I take from the BP and from the lv Union 45 box ?
In my opinion, the crit rate sword or gun. Or deoending on your acc like you have more great sword like Jiyan or Calcharo. But i prefer crit rate weaps since its the best stat and you get it free. Though not guarantee if more free crit rate weapons are in the future.
lustrus can also be used for the new upcoming jinshi or w/e her name was. At 45 Ill get a sword and I need a pistol from pulling too.
I hope I get the Broadblade in Gacha before reaching UL45 coz I wanna get the gun too.
I got extremely lucky and already got the 5* broadblade and gun, and rn trying to get lucky again with the rectifier or will choose rectifier from box when I get to lvl45. Whichever comes first.

Tbh, flat attack in this game is not bad. I’m not saying it’s better than ATK%, but is not just a waste like it is in the competition.
i got lucky and got the sword on my first pull on the weapon banner im planning to use the supply chest for the gun but not sure what to do from there. im about 50 pity into the banner also
yes i have the same thinking here. i got from battlepass the autumn trace for my calcharo, my yinlin has her sign weapon. now its time to pull sword emerald genesis on level 45 selector and my standard banner is on gun cause CRIT RATE BABY

Will depend on how many green pulls they will give every patch,low green pull might take a few years or a lot of green pulls in a patch = get all weapons fast.( Green pulls are pretty rare ).
I get static mist and emerald genesis in 30 pulls. Hopefully not exhausted my luck for the year yet.
Also chose the 5*gun for Mortefi. However I only managed to get 1 copy of Mort from the beginner banner, 0 from limited.
Then yesterday w/ 20 pulls on wpn banner I get 2 Mort copies.😮 No weapons.
I've had the craziest/luckiest pulls I've ever had.

honestly my strat. is complete all the standard weapons since its easier to get than a 5 star character that base on your 50/50 luck, plus weapon is a good investment overall in my opinion
i've already got all the standard 5 stars except lingyang (thank god for that), so i'm only gonna use standard pulls on the weapon banner
My decision is I keep mine until I get someone I like on standard because all limited must have limited weapons
I’ll go for the broadblade because my Calcharo is still using a 3* weapon (I’ve gotten 0 broadblades) and I’ll go for the sword on the banner later

I am in the same conundrum my Calcharo only has Helios Cleaver. But I'll probably just get the Battle Pass Broadsword and get the sword or gun from the 5* selector

I rerolled and was told to spend the 20 standard wishes you get on the standard banner. So now I have 20 pity on there and still need 20 more wishes for the bigger's choice banner.. Gonna take a while until I get my second five star weapon..,

I haven't seen this mentioned but isn't the 'event' for the 5* weapon box expiring today? Are ppl going to get it once that thing goes away? I swear I did everything as a f2p, using all possible waveplates without refreshing and only just hit 45. Again the timer is saying this thing EXPIRES in a few hours. If it does do away I dunno wut they were thinking about who could get it without using those twenty solvents

I got 2 five star weapon from my first 50 pulls tah wea got from rewards in game so I choose sword & blade, for the next weapon when I reach UL45 in a few weeks I will choose Yinlin weapon or maybe pistol
Just pull for yinlin's own weapon and choose the pistol.

After 6x rerolling, I finally got lucky with my pulls
Got Verina on the 1st 10 followed by Yinlin on my 20th
Then got the Emerald of Genesis on the first 10 on the weapon banner
Just waiting for Jinshi and her weapon and If I loose I'll get the broadsword for the selector

I mean, try to get every class of 5* weapon first, then you can think about dupes
its not actually 200+ attack difference if you compare with a DPS weapon the support ones lean toward the energy regen but other purple swords have more my 70 broadblade#41 has 312 so it seems weapons have scaling stats between the 2 main ie less energy more attack and vice versa still incredibly higher attack on 5* just a little extra info out there
I know I want Emerald of Genesis, it would be absolutely "game changing" for me. But, I don't want to use the selector on it. I'm currently 43/80 on the standard weapon banner, and want to get Emerald from it. Unfortunately, Lustrous Tides have dried up, and it's looking like I'll have to wait for 1.1 to get more (which probably won't amount to 37 pulls).
I'll hit 45 in the next couple of days, and if I use the selector on the sword, I'll have to stop pulling on the weapon banner with whatever Lustrous Tide comes along. I want to main Jinhsi, but until I'm absolutely sure of what characters I want to run in that team, I don't want to end up choosing the wrong 5 star on the weapon banner if one of her best teammates needs one of those weapons to truly work. It would be much better for me to just hold the selector in my inventory, but continue pulling on the banner for the chance at more weapon or character dupes/finally getting Variation.
I've been so tempted to spend asterite on that banner. But I want to make sure I can guarantee Jinhsi and her signature weapon, and have asterite leftover to maybe go for Changli. Or maybe even to yolo for Jinhsi's S3 (because I guarantee her S2 doesn't work how so many people have assumed it does, and her S3 will likely be her true biggest boost)

so ive never been lucky with gatcha games. my first ten pull i pulled the aero monk girl, it then let me chose a unit to go for so i chose Calcharo, i did a ten pull and instantly got him. so i had alot of left over wishes like 30 i went and got him the lustrous razor because why not it looks like it would work better than jiyans. i tried to pull yinlin and i got another Calcharo instead so rip. i think I'm gonna get the crit rate sword for rover because he's kinda unfair

There is a big problem with your logic of getting the Sword or Gun. Jianxin doesn't use either.

Genshin could never gave free Crit Rate weapons once every type of weapon regardless passive like defensive scaling or kill enemy gain more attack.
I have 2 razors ,50 pull banner and 20 pull banner and got the gun from l45 now going for 1 hand sword from 3rd banner also got yinlin weapon at 20 pull so my f2p account is stacked ,2 coots of calcharo and 2 jiyan

@@grimm7013 The echo drop rates in 1.1 are massively increased. At UL50 and databank 21, you can have 100% gold instead of 80% gold, and it is likely that they increase the tacet fields exp and tuners drop amount by a bit.
Also yeah there are a few new echoes.
I more or less just clicked on this to see if there was a good reason to NOT go for the crit weapons.

What if I have both the gun and the sword?? I do have calcharo but I am a-okay with a 4 start weapon on him I don't wanna waste my selection on the broadblade. Tbh i kinda think I should just get another sword... if anyone has any suggestions please do let me know this shit has been wreaking my mind for a while now!!!
