Listening to this track, I can feel the echoes, the floating sea dust wandering through the dark water, that vast and unknown corner of the great blue.
Everything about the video is absolutely amazing, but my personal favorite bit is definitely the soundtrack. Serious props to the people who composed this!
Honestly the deep oceans fascinate me. It’s so eerie and interesting. It amazes me that life can survive so deep. I LOVE the deep. I might work in it in the future.
Some sea animals are so well adjusted to the deep sea that if they were brought up to the surface they would literally melt. They essentially have the consistency of the water around them at surface pressure (it basically kills them via melting).
From what I can gather Europa's ocean is probably 10x deeper than challenger deep. But due to lower gravity differences the pressure at the bottom will be roughly similar. It's hard to imagine.
parts of this track reminded me of a part from a track called "the 2nd law: isolated system" by Muse. This is a lovely track Epic Mountain Music. Truly.
Oh gosh this is amazing. The depth and layers of this masterpiece is really fitting to the topic. It really feels like looking underwater in an open wide dark sea filled with bioluminescence around you
Absolutely beautiful. Encapsulates the ambiance of the sea and underwater depths with frightening detail. It's so serene, yet poised with danger at the same time. Remarkable work, keep it up, EMM!
Don't know, Epic Mountain always make great music when it comes to video about stars, mysterious things or life. I am not saying others are not good but those really stand out.
maybe there's more to see In the ocean then you think its just hard,to get the technology ... The ocean is a very peaceful and pretty place.you can, always try and you'll find a way to win or discover,.im saying never give up on your dreams . BTW Kurtzegt your music helped me go to sleep and help me with my super hard homework .
Start: 0:01 Daylight zone: 0:40 Twilight Zone: 1:47 Midnight Zone: 4:04 Abyssal depths: 6:26 Hadal Zone: 7:12 This if for me. Because i cant understand ths top comment
we need another subnautica with less story material and more map material. I'm craving a map that goes down to like 12000 meters and has a ton of new leviathans something that sounds and feels like this
Midnight Zone : entering jaw of frilled shark. Abbysopelagic Zone : entering jaw of Spotlight Loosejaw. Sunlight Zone : why is there a greenland shark?
I have a fair theory; that if we are to run into intelligent life that is capable of traveling the stars, most of it is going to be aquatic. Life can't survive without water and its more likely to me that we will run into an ocean fairing alien race than a land faring or air fairing alien race.
the chords are beautiful and it reminds me of the game hyper light drifter. honestly amazing
Exactly my thoughts. If you told me this comes from Hyper Light Drifter I'd believe you.
boredbenny
Wow your so right
thats exactly what is was thinking
Thought the same thing, 10/10 game and 10/10 youtube channel
Now that you mention, Disasterpeace and Epic Mountain's techno tracks are remarkably similar. I wonder if they're connected somehow.
Listening to this track, I can feel the echoes, the floating sea dust wandering through the dark water, that vast and unknown corner of the great blue.
And don’t forget the plastic bag
@@BYangBlueBushes No, that one has another soundtrack! 😉
Nice one! 👍
Epipelagic zone 0:40
Mesopelagic (twilight) zone 1:47
Bathypelagic (midnight) zone 4:04
Abyssopelagic zone 6:26
Hadopelagic zone 7:12
I especially love the amazing zone!
Everything about the video is absolutely amazing, but my personal favorite bit is definitely the soundtrack. Serious props to the people who composed this!
4:04 sounds like one of Stranger Things music themes
What would we do without people like you
I read epipelagic zone as epileptic zone and all i can imagine right now is a bunch of fish having seizures the second they reach this zone
"Detecting multiple leviathan-class life forms. Are you sure what you're doing is worth it?"
Really though, if our oceans are this alien to us, imagine another planet’s ocean
Damn you're right
Imagine seeing a big continental shelf or trench in the distance in front of you, and then you hear a gigantic roar in the distance.
Bananappleboy World We only explored like 5% of the oceans so there could be something like a reaper leviathan deeper down lol
Hello there
Honestly the deep oceans fascinate me. It’s so eerie and interesting. It amazes me that life can survive so deep. I LOVE the deep. I might work in it in the future.
if you want to meet aliens, look in the sea :)
Get knee deep in it!
Some sea animals are so well adjusted to the deep sea that if they were brought up to the surface they would literally melt. They essentially have the consistency of the water around them at surface pressure (it basically kills them via melting).
Mysterious Figure
Yeah for instance the blobfish doesn’t actually look like that underwater
@@cloudy772 Are you a fan of Subnautica?
That picture tho...make me remember the true horror of the "Deep dark down" when i play Subnatica...Fear of the unknown threat.
me too
true
i love the jacksepticeye reference
I like how it's like a space song but with the sonar rhythm it became a diving in sea song
Yes, deep sea and deep space music sound kinda similar :D
And space and sea feel the same with low gravity.
@@BigBoss-sm9xj basically Subnautica
It's because both environments are verry alien to us
Once again, I find myself listening to the soundtrack before the video itself.
And once again it is completely worth it.
Yes it is
The actual video is incredible as well.
I actually had to stop the Kurzgesagt video and find this music because it was so stunning. Thanks for the beautiful tracks.
This is it, fam. This is what we have been looking for: the Kurzgesagt soundtrack
From what I can gather Europa's ocean is probably 10x deeper than challenger deep. But due to lower gravity differences the pressure at the bottom will be roughly similar. It's hard to imagine.

Too deep...
My emotions....
Swallowing me deeper...
DEEP.
I AM 12 AND THIS IS DEEP. B R U H
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Real eyes realize real lies
this music makes you think pretty _deep_ thoughts
Oh gosh this is amazing. The depth and layers of this masterpiece is really fitting to the topic. It really feels like looking underwater in an open wide dark sea filled with bioluminescence around you
Why does the midnight zone sound so good? Mater of fact, why does this all sound so good?
You guys deserve way more attention for such amazing soundtracks
Amazing, and it just gets better the longer it goes on...
How come without the music, the picture feels like... A waste of time but the music alone... Creates all those pictures in my head!
The hadopelagic zone part really makes me feel like i'm drowning at the bottom of the sea
Don't worry. You won't drown at the bottom of the sea.
The water pressure will kill you much quicker than your lack of oxygen.
Absolutely beautiful. Encapsulates the ambiance of the sea and underwater depths with frightening detail. It's so serene, yet poised with danger at the same time.
Remarkable work, keep it up, EMM!
(Bathypelecic zone or midnight zone)"Father was right we shouldn't have gone so deep"...(hears crabsquid noises)
Playing Subnautica while listening to this. Such an awe
Thanks for this beautiful music. Magnificent as usual.
Don't know, Epic Mountain always make great music when it comes to video about stars, mysterious things or life. I am not saying others are not good but those really stand out.
Man this music _crushes_ it!
Love the different parts, they keep getting more and more (for lack of a better world) dire.
The serene vastness of this soundtrack is something I could easily drift off to.
(Pun somewhat intended)
Man, that's deep
This music makes me feel whole. Thank you!
love how the videos feel related to the topic itself.
You continue to amaze me with your work
this actually sounds like hyper light drifter, wow
This is better than most anime "music"
Those songs are too OP
ok this is the 7th track I lisened to on their channel and man these would be amazing as background music for Sci-fi Rpgs
Yet another masterpiece

The part around 4:14 kinda reminds me of Strange Stars.
Incredible work as always, EMM - can't wait to hear more.
thank you emm! very cool.
TRUE ART.
I feel like the OST of the AQA sectors unknown depths from metroid 4 fusion would go so well with this video
Vangelis feels :)
this is perfect for studying too.
Damn I just got the Notification that just released the music from the new kurzgesagt video :P ... and it s great as always :)
Perfect soundtrack for a game if you ask me.
This puts paid ASMR to shame.
You make the best Music i have ever heard. :D
Perfect for sleep music 💗
2:32 and 7:18 are my favorite parts
The deep truly is an alien world. It makes me wonder what its like in super oceans or trenches even deeper than the Mariana trench.
Awesome love that there is more videos coming out
Im 14 years old and this is deep
sounds awesome!
This is Truly Amazing!❤️
i love this one!
Time to swim lil bit deeper
Lol
This track gives me serious Metroid Prime "Wrecked Frigate" vibes.

Do you have the music from the "Safe and Sorry" video?
What about the one for the "is organic better" video?
What softwares or applications does Epic Mountain use to make this awesome music?
I really like the ocean
this kinda sounds like the minecraft 1.13 songs, this song is truly a deep dive
sounds more like volume beta
we need another subnautica with less story material and more map material. I'm craving a map that goes down to like 12000 meters and has a ton of new leviathans
something that sounds and feels like this
*Noice Noise*
Who’s here before watching the video from our favorite channel? 🙋🏻♂️
IT FEELS LIKE TO BE DROWNING
Yes
Thx myself we maked this video

Looks like I'm on the wrong video.

Joel Goldsmith SGU soundtrack vibes
Everybody Gantsa till the reaper leviathan grabs your Seamoth
Can you upload the music they used in their video about the war on drugs?
Are we all gonna avoid the fact that I can't find this on the iTunes store yet. Nor the egg???
EMM comes out with new volumes at the end of every year. The next one'll come out soon. Cant wait for volume 6
Midnight Zone : entering jaw of frilled shark. Abbysopelagic Zone : entering jaw of Spotlight Loosejaw. Sunlight Zone : why is there a greenland shark?

May I ask what you used to make this
WHO ARE THOSE SIX PEOPLE WHO DISLIKED?!!
Kinda sounds like Lena Raine's Minecraft Nether Update music (which, yes, was made 7 months after this, I know), especially Chrysopoeia
Something is mysterious Is in the hadopelagic zone.... There is a cave to the Cacopolelagic zone.....
One word for this would be Barotrauma
come with me, to the edge of the abyss!
WARNING! MAXIMUM DEPTH REACHED! HULL DAMAGE IMMINENT
😍
Hmm.. dude.. Kurzgesagt uploading a new video?
this song kinda makes me think of gaint underwater kaiju
reminds me of some of the soundtrack in Oxenfree :0
Welp that's fast
deeper than DISLIKES
*you hear a blood curdling roar in the distance
Achievement get: We need to go deeper
:Deep:
10/10 would play this in the bedroom... smashing slowly
clocktowers beneath the sea 2
Volume 6 soon???
I neeed it
Do you know? Why this video has only 6 dislikes because who ever watches kurzgesagt is intelligent 😎 so there is only few stupids who dislikes this 😎😎
this is the perfect place to place the nuclear bomb
I FIGURED IT OUT Kuargsart uploads them before epic mountain does
