    ===============================================
    Sweet potato is a very tasty and nutritious tuber that can be processed into many delicious dishes. Sweet potatoes contain fiber, calcium, starch, sugar...and it can prevent cancer, eliminate diabetes, reduce stress...
    So sweet potatoes should appear in your family's meals.
    The way for sweet potatoes to quickly germinate and grow well is to soak the sweet potato in water to help it develop strong and healthy roots.
    Sweet potatoes are suitable for growing in dry season conditions, the soil is loose and high. Potatoes you take very little care because. After 3-4 months, sweet potatoes will be tubers, you can harvest them to have nutritious dishes. I do this method to save the planting area suitable for places with small space. Grow sweet potatoes at home.

      Wie hieß diese Sorte von Süßkartoffeln?
      Es gibt noch eine andere Sorte, aber die ist nicht so rot!.
      Habe diese bei uns noch nicht zu kaufen gesehen.
      Geht das mit der anderen Sorte auch auf diese Weise?
      Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen 🙂!

    You Dont need to use 1 Full Sweet Potatoe to plant it..
    Divide that 1 Sweet Potato to 4 pcs..
    Become 4 Plant.
    Or just Cut a branch and stich in the Soil.. It will become new Plant.

    That is an old way. You can start them like that in February and take tip cuttings about two and a half inches long every three weeks and root them in water to create more plants.
    A week before you plant the cuttings pinch the ends to encourage branching for a healthier plant.

    Good info on getting roots started. However; at what point do you transfer from bottles to planter, 10 days later? I belive you started off with 6 tubers and the return shown was 6 tubers. If that's the case then return on what was planted was negligible. Answers please.

    Just think of how many sweet potatoes you would've had if you pulled the slips from the sweet potatoes and planted them in several tire planters instead of the 3 or 4 parent sweet potatoes, 50 pounds easily.

  • @jeanneleongmitchell1375
    @jeanneleongmitchell1375 2 роки тому +2

    Wouldn't leaching occur if planted in tires? Aren't the slips supposed to be snapped off & then planted? What happened to the "parent" tuber?

    • @sweetpotatoestroop
      @sweetpotatoestroop 2 роки тому

      Actually all we are doing by making these "slips" is providing the roots of the sweet potato slip more space you can bang tubers in ground and it will grow more tubers the reason for this is that the slips are basically "rooted sprouts" so the sprouts can root in the soil without being seperated because They can grow roots on the other side of the slip the side facing away from the Tuber of sweet potato this is a used method but not commonly It's A Rarely used method that I just found out about and also the sweet potato Tuber still remains fresh even when planted so it is still edible
