- Part 1 of our motorcycle camping trip to the Outer Hebrides on my Honda Cub. We ride up through Glencoe to Tim's and have a night in the Strontian Hotel before heading up to Ullapool to meet the rest of the crew.

Recognised many of those roads. When the weather is with you there isn't a better place to ride. We camped at Ullapool one year, good job we pitched on high ground because it rained so much the site flooded with tents floating.
Aye, when the weather is good we have paradise! When the weather is bad though we need different clothing! 😂
Have you been to the islands? If not there worth doing.
@@yodagoat Not done the Islands yet, mostly explored the west coast. Definitely be back up but probably next year now.

Ha ha! I've avoided McShite for years but I have the occasion penchant for a McPlant. The only other local options would have been Tesco or worse, Marks and Spencer! 😂

Reckon I've been through Glencoe maybe 5 times and have never seen the sun shine on it. Looked epic Mikey 👌. Last summer we stopped over in Ullapool at the hostel. Also had a decent curry from that place. Also went to that pub but only stayed for 1 pint as the proprietor was an insufferable COVID-nazi arsehole. Other than that a great time was had 👍
Lots of folk in remote areas were getting really worried during covid. There are only something like nine ICU beds in Raigmore so I can understand folk being a bit cautious or worn out. I know folk in other parts of the country had real problems, especially with our rules and guidelines being different to Englands.
@@yodagoat The rules were similar in England at the time and we were observing them. I won't bore you with the details but matey was over-zealous and downright rude. He was soon advised of this and we took our custom elsewhere. No bother anywhere else, so just figure he was having a bad day. Shit happens.
