To install Nvidia drivers, Open the driver installer, after extracting, close it, then go to device manager(right-click start button), click the display adapters, then microsoft basic adapter, then right-click, then update driver software, then select browse on my computer manually, and select the NVIDIA folder on the drive, then it installs. I've been asked by my teacher to set up the network in the manager so that a static IP adress is used, but the PC wouldn't connect to the internet when I do this (manager->ethernet->properties). I checked with the router that it's not a currently used address on my home network. If I choose an automatic fix in the troubleshooter (right click on the message field icon), it just picks DHCP again which isn't what I want. I tried doing what you do using ipconfig to pick the address, and the exclamation icon on the network app disappeared after a while, it says I have internet access, but in internet explorer it says I can't open a search page (google for example), then says it can't display the site. Hi Karlo Paita, it depends on the company. When I was a young IT I did not have any of the knowledge I have now. If the company is willing to train you, and if you are well motivated to train yourself it will not be a problem to have even less experience than that. Good luck !

No. It has to be on a Windows Server computer. You can, however, install Windows Server in a virtual machine if you want to play around with it.

This will probably happen if you are using a virtual machine. Try reinstalling the Windows Server and do the setup again.

You can put any domain you want to so long as you remember it. In a real job you'd of course be using the domain you're given.
