New lake record Siamese Carp landed at Gillhams Fishing Resorts.

Congratulations Reiss Wheeler for breaking the Gillhams Fishing Resorts Siamese carp record with an awesome fish weighing in at 202lb. We have been expecting a Siamese carp over the magic 200lb barrier for a long time now, we have several fish in the lake that we know will exceed this milestone figure!
The fish was landed from a swim known as Sala 10 using a Free Spirit Tamer S Bank Cat rod, in conjunction with a Black Cat, Cat Extreme 105 reel, loaded with Gillhams 80lb braid, OMC Ammo 50lb hooklink, Ridge Monkey Apex-X 2XX Continental size 4 hook. Bait used was a Gillhams Pre Drilled Pellet, critically balanced with a piece of cork, in conjunction with a Gillhams PVA bag.
As a thank you to the captor Reiss Wheeler Gillham Fishing Resorts have given him two nights stay with two days fishing if used towards a trip exceeding five nights.
