African culture is predominately a male dominant society and that was fine back in the 80s and 90s when the man was the main bread winner but now with equal opportunities and women being educated and making their own money , they will no longer stand for the patriarchy. I think both sexes should compliment the other,. There is nothing wrong with a man helping out in the kitchen and around the home, same as there is nothing wrong with the woman taking charge and pampering her man.
I love it that you can cook. In the south in the USA cornbread was our staple. It is made with coarse cornmeal. It doesn’t have much vitamins etc but it was a staple. I love it!! ❤ I don’t like eggs very much, when I eat them I have to have them scrambled, then I grate cheese And add some seasonings, and sometimes a little diced onion and chopped tomatoes. And garlic salt
