11:42 generate a landscape with a mountain in the background in the anime style. You will get a Mount Fuji look alike in the same style every, single, time. They’re using assets in some way for sure.
I'm curious how the Add Me feature works on the Fold... I'm hoping it shows the image on the front display so the person who took the first picture thats going out to add themselves can use that to properly position themselves
Not sure what other phones can do this but Its the key feature I miss on my redmagic , with my Huawei, any screenshot I took had meta data. For instance I could search in screenshots for a game name and it found all of the SS from that game . Basically the location or app I was in when I took the SS would get added into the meta data. Very efficient if you wanted to look for something. If I was in chrome the website and app would get saved so if I took a SS of a bag via the Amazon app, and a SS of a coat in chrome searching Amazon found both but searching chrome only brought up the SS taken in chrome. Very handy for recovering or in youtube when I see a short for a movie I could save the film info just with a SS . I miss that feature
13:47 Samsung already does this for years. If you take a screenshot on a website, the photo in your Samsung Gallery can link you to the URL you took the screenshot from. Surprised none of the tech nerds mentioned this.
Chain photography solution: when in a tourist spot you have to do the pass system. You take a photo of the people and then you have your photo taken by the next person and they get their photo by the next. I’ve seen it at formula 1 signs where it’s a large line. It keeps it moving and everyone gets a photo
“Add me” is the feature everyone hypes but will never get used. By the time you do all that you could have just asked someone or placed the phone on something to take it. No one in the real world will take the time to do it
I dont understand why they havent used ai to sort out the problems of underscreen cameras and get rid of the visor on the back The magic editor brings up so many problems
Dude there are some legit high quality cardboards out there. Imagine if all cardboard was the same quality that apple uses on their iphone boxes. We could probably reuse it for building homes
As someone from Zambia, I understand that for people living in developed countries, it might be hard to dislike the Google Pixel. But for those of us in Africa, and many other parts of the world, it's all too easy. Google just doesn’t seem to care about markets like ours. They don’t sell here, and it's clear we’re not a priority. Sure, they cater to India, but that's only because of the country’s wealthy elite-a small group that gets overlooked due to the glaring inequality. But even then, Google doesn’t have an official presence there. They just ship the parts, and the local manufacturers handle the rest. For those living in places where the Pixel ecosystem is sold, it’s easy to love it. But for us, where it isn’t even available, we’re better off importing a Chinese phone or sticking with Samsung or Apple. The frustration of being overlooked by these big companies is real.
Pixel 9 Pro's AI tried hitting it off with a cardboard cutout... but turns out, there's only so much you can do with someone who’s literally always stiff. AI made this joke
What do they mean its on device? Is all the AI stuff under Gemini? and if so you only get it free for a year then you have to start paying per month? If you don't pay for it, will the phone be just like any other lack luster phone at that point? I really don't want to pay $20 a month for Gemini advanced.
When is rhe Apple event. Cant wait for 10th yr annuv of apple watch and if iPhone 16 will have automatic and better spatial videos...and better action mode when ultrawide is 48mp..and much better Apple Intelligence
Pixel Studio: The feature uses on-device AI and Google’s cloud-based Imagen 3 text-to-image model, and requires an internet connection to work. -the Verge
It's like it would be so awesome, if we could like, just like search... Like photos of like places... Like some could like click them and like we could like just download them like you know some kind of like search engine... Not Google, but like Google... It would be like so cool and then we could just show them to people... Like you were actually were there... Like that would be soooo cool Effin REDARDS! 😑
I read the title as "Weird Al things in the Pixel 9" and was trying to figure out what Weird Al Yankovic was doing now.
is that not the title?
I came here just to figure out the same. 😂
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Sort of like when U2 was on the new iPhones?
Same 😂😂😂😂
This title looks like singer Weird Al (Yankovich)
Corrugated fiberboard, paperboard, and mat board? What are we doing with the cardboard again?
11:42 generate a landscape with a mountain in the background in the anime style. You will get a Mount Fuji look alike in the same style every, single, time.

It's different for me. I get volcanoes, and different mountain styles

17:22 Ever heard of bookmarks?
Amazing Pixel 9 photos of cardboard! So much detail, even the texture of the paper is visible. Inspiring.
I don’t mind color editing or dark mode but I definitely don’t want fake memories and fake people add ons.
The whole screenshot having a link thing was already on samsung since the galaxy s10
16:15 Van Halen's "Jump"
The S24 has the pen to save the day with pictures. Everyone poses and click the pen button for a few shots
“Add me” is the feature everyone hypes but will never get used. By the time you do all that you could have just asked someone or placed the phone on something to take it. No one in the real world will take the time to do it
Just so you know, storing URLs alongside every screenshot has been a thing in Samsung's gallery for years now.
Petapixel had a really good review on the google pixel 9 cameras
screenshoting with links is actually in Samsung phones for 3 or 4 years for now, (if you use Samsung internet app)
It also works with chrome. Not just the Samsung Internet App.
Finally, an AI feature that can save us from those ‘helpful’ people who take the world's worst group photos. Progress, my friends.
Well, my A71 5G has the taking a screenshot of a link and it saving the link so you can get back to the site immediately
please try the add me feature in crowded place
I dont understand why they havent used ai to sort out the problems of underscreen cameras and get rid of the visor on the back
The magic editor brings up so many problems
great video :)
6:20 ???
Reminds me of when my friends would send me videos and they would just be moans 😅
My 6 year old samsung phone has the feature to pull up to the screenshots website
This feature needs no ai.
well nothing marketed as ai is ai? they are just algorithms that are there since years already, its just a marketing word
Very interesting discussion on cardboard!
Why do they say it's on device if it needs cellular connection?
So are UA-camrs the only ones that got this feature? I haven’t been able to see it available yet

The Magic is back, thanks to Google & Gemini.
Cardboards are cool and inspiring ✨✨
I too enjoy the consumption of Cardboard
CARDBOARD, CARDBOARD AND MORE CARDBOARD!
I used to think that we were going to use AI for science, medicine and the betterment of humanity.
That's happening right now
It feels like marques is annoyed with the obsession over ai these days lol 😂
That’s what Pinterest does, isn’t it? 17:00
Nobody understands that you can find screenshots in Google Photos. Now it's clear where they are :-)
100%

I’ve been excited about many great things, but AI may top the list.
I always type Artificially Intelligence with a lower case “i”. Because now Weird Al in the chat.
cardboard is an essential material for building houses
Pixels dont take photos they take images of you
I'm thinking about purchasing one of the new Pixels. If I do, I'm putting my old Pixel 7 pro in a cardboard box.
i farted into all Pixel 9 in the factory
Google you've disappointed me for the last time. I'm going to iPhone and if Apple has an experience as lackluster as yours I guess I'm screwed 😩
Cardboard Training.
The link in screenshot Already done by samsung years ago
Cupboard gemini doing splits

I love cardboard, and I’d subscribe for more if you can talk more about cardboard. :)

Gemini can't open my shopping list. It gives instructions on how to open google keep and hit shopping list. What a POS lol.
"this is not photo anymore"
Meanwhile, Photoshop with extreme editing has been a thing for 2 decades...
