As you guys know, I do not normally like elevator modernizations, and I'm quite tired of seeing them, especially with fixtures like MAD BS as it just looks WAY too generic and out of place in an older building. For some reason though, and Idk why, but I actually think it looks very nice on these Newly Modded Elevators! Regarding what I said, yes, these were originally Westinghouse, then they got a Schindler Mod with EPCO, and now they have this modernization, which I believe was done by Thyssenkrupp or maybe Fujitec or some Generic company. Regardless of who modded them, the new fixtures and cabs and this modernization as a whole looks VERY NICE, and while I do prefer the grandeur of handcarved wooden cabs (which these elevators used to have) as opposed to modern cabs, I think they did a good job making the new cabs blend in with the hotel very nicely. All in all, Pretty nice modernization that I really can't complain about. Especially since this isn't the first modernization they're recieved. The only thing that I wish they left along were the Westinghouse lanterns and dinner bells, which were kept original with the first modernization. Other than that though, this mod was pretty nicely done, and the hotel itself is beautiful and there are VERY BEAUTIFUL Views of Downtown Denver on the top floor!
For those interested in how these looked like with their first modernization, check out this video right here: • Westinghouse Traction ...
Installed in 1966. (Westinghouse Selectomatic, likely with AE Fixtures)
    Modernized:
1st Modernization: Circa 1990s (Schindler with EPCO Fixtures, New Indicators and New Controllers. Lanterns, Cabs and Motors left as is)
2nd Modernization: 2018 (Unknown Company with MAD BS Moon fixtures, New Cabs, New Motors, New Controllers, New Lanterns, basically all new everything except the outer doors.)
