- Hey there legends! I'm back after a much needed break from digital content creation. I've been focusing on my professional pursuits, the return of the AFL season, and getting out on the golf course.
I'm back with a metal vocal cover that's probably more raw than polished. Both from a vocal and audio engineering perspective. You all know I'm an absolute sucker when it comes to anything Fear Factory related, so here I am taking on the bands most notable track in history; LINCHPIN!
I'll admit, it's been a while since I've flexed my vocal cords, and my performance might not be the greatest. But I wanted to share my love for Fear Factory and this incredible song with all of you, regardless of any flaws in my rendition.
LINCHPIN is a masterpiece of man vs machine themes, melody vs brutality, ethereal sound design and crushing riffs. Given how out of practise I am, I did my best to do it justice. If you're open to embracing the raw energy and passion of a crazy Fear Factory fan, then come along for the ride!
Grab a cold one, turn up the volume, and let's rock out together to Fear Factory's "Linchpin" - warts and all.
