Wonderful book about Kylemore Castle built by Mitchell Henry at the behest of his wife who loved the beautiful location. The book encompasses the history of its occupants through the years as well as the politics of the time. The author has a broad knowledge of the entire Connemara area. Kylemore Abbey is a must see venue to anyone travelling to the West Coast of Ireland. I highly recommend this book. It is a very engrossing read.
